I did recently found out she's the main character in the Chakushin Ari (one missed call) movie! I love that movie so much! It's my favorite Japanese horror movie and I've seen it like 10 times already, it's awesome.

It really makes me wanna listen to her music.

I'm not fond of her KOH+ stuff, but her recent single was really good. And songs like Kage, Hito Koi Meguri and her first are some of my favourites.

i'm DLing the saiai PV right now, i hope it's not boring like the preview was on the KOH+ site x__X the song's finally grew on me, though.

I LOVE Shibasaki Kou's first album, but I've only liked two or three songs she's put out since then. :(

I don't like KOH+ stuff but I like her other stuff :D especially 影(kage) and 眠レナイ夜ハ眠ラナイ夢ヲ (nemurenai yoru wa nemuranai yume wo). She has a very interesting style of music.

That's cool, but she didn't really "break" that record, right? I mean Ayu had #1 and #2, and Kou only had #1 and #3... So that's not really "breaking" it?

I'm glad to see a thread for her around AHS. Shibasaki is amazing, I can't wait to listen to more stuff from her. Yoku Aru Hanashi (if I written well) got to be one of my favorite songs of the year, as well as Sai Ai.

Singer/actress Kou Shibasaki has found a new boyfriend, says the newest issue of Josei Seven. She was recently spotted with TAKUYA∞, the vocalist of rock band UVERworld, which finally achieved its first #1 single last month with the "Mobile Suit Gundam 00" theme song "Hakanakumo Towa no Kanashi."

According to the magazine, the two were already acquainted, but they met again in the fall at a gathering with their musician friends, and they immediately hit it off. On December 5, Shibasaki attended UVERworld's concert at the Nippon Budokan. In addition, Josei Seven reported that they spent three consecutive nights together on dates. The magazine also published a photo of them at a Christmas illumination event in Roppongi.

Since 2005, Shibasaki had been dating actor Satoshi Tsumabuki, who co-starred with her in the drama series "Orange Days." Many thought they were headed for marriage, but in light of this news, it seems that they have already broken up.

Where are all those Kou Fans on AHS? She is soooo gorgeous, I swear I love her soooo much. I ordered Love Paranoia, CD+DVD Version and just watched the DVD. She is sooo beautiful and I love her voice so much. :luv2 She probably isn't the best singer around, but I'm not looking for perfection. I like Singers with something special in their voices, like Ayu or Kou. The good thing for the Kou Fan is that she's also an actress, but I think I prefer her singing career over her acting one. Though she's a great actress, my favourite probably. Well back to Love Paranoia - it's a great album. I love the singles especially ラバソー ～lover soul～ and 大切にするよ (fantastic song). But the album tracks are cool, too. And the PV's - wow, she is so beautiful. I'm such a fangirl. The PV for よくある話 ～喪服の女編～ - she's a real japanese beauty. I also prefer her with that classic black straight her, over her brown. Even though, she looks cool in any outfit. I think Kou deserves much mor attention. She's soo overlooked. :( Enough fangirling. How did Love Paranoia sell? Probably not as good as her last albums, right? It's really worth buying it though.

In the booklet there was also some info on her tour kou shibasaki live tour 2010 It starts on the 5th of March and ends at 9th of April. You can also get tickets at Lawsons. I wonder what that code means in the booklet? Maybe you can have cheaper tickets with it? My perfect trip would probably be a trip to Japan with a concert every other night with Ayu, Namie, Kou and KAT-TUN. :thud Tickets for Kou are 6000 Yen, and the halls are pretty small venues. Nice.

Not related to new material, but I just saw Battle Royale and she's hardcore in it! Love her. I love her as an actress (Chakushin ari already won me over years ago). Didn't listen to much of her music yet (just Ikutsuka no sora from Chakushin ari), but I really should!

Kou just performed on Music Station. Honto da yo is such a nice song, I like it even more than before. If it wouldn't be for that weird cover it would've been the perfect single. On the MS ranking the song was just at 10. :( She deserves so much more.
