Wonder Girls or Girls' Generation?
 

Searched for this thread and didn't find anything like it.

Anyway, Wonder Girls and Girls' Generation (SNSD) are rival girl groups in Korea.

Which one do you prefer?

Wonder Girls of course! :heart Their music is fresh and so hot. Yoo Bin is da kween uff k-raapu and just makes the group 10x betta.

SNSD....they just need to sit down. They have a'ight music but they are so below WG's level.

I like Taeyeon of Girls' Generation. Tiffany really needs to learn to think before she talks, and the rest of the group doesn't make much of an impression on me.

I like the Wonder Girls' music more.

SNSD. Wonder Girls are ok music, but it gets boring fast and their vocals aren't as strong.

I dislike SNSD's songs and on top of that taeyeon is a horrible person for insulting doctors and nurses and making a racist comment by insulting alicia keys. Smart move taeyeon >_>

I don't want to sound biased, but I don't think Taeyeon is a horrible person. I don't think it was the smartest move for her to rant on her radio show about doctors and nurses, but she has the right to. It just seems wrong that none of the doctors were available when she was about to faint, but they had the time to post their replies about her ranting in the radio show's forum. Anyway. I'm sure they both had their reasons. Kangin from Super Junior ranted as well with Taeyeon, but he didn't get criticized for it. Not that I want him to be criticized, but it's wrong to just blame Taeyeon.

As for the Alicia Keys comment, I didn't think it was racist. It's just the netizens overreacting. There's so many people that say things like "She's really beautiful for an White/Asian/Black/..." and things like that. They aren't racists. They just think that most White/Asian/Black... aren't that good-looking. I'm Asian, and my sister has a really close friend that said something like that to her: "You know, for an Asian, you're so beautiful!". It doesn't mean that she's racist. She just doesn't find that there's many beautiful Asian women out there.

^ I understand what you're saying, but a comment like that is still a racist comment. Its still discriminating a race... Like by saying that, you're pretty much saying the race is ugly, but u know u're one of the rare exceptions.. I mean thats totally wrong. I know ur friend isn't a racist (She is friends with you for a reason) but I mean the comment still has racist implications to it and thats why I felt that it was terribly unnecessary for her to say it publically like that. I don't care what she thinks, but keep it to yourself and be considerate to other people's feelings. How do you think she would feel if I said to another member, For an SNSD member you're pretty, implying she was ugly. I think that would hurt, even if I didn't mean it to.

The doctor comment is TOTALLY unnecessary. She is totally being selfish and rude there. I honestly feel that there is no justification for what she said about them. Doctors and nurses work HARD and long hours to save people's live. They need a break too. Sure she's tired, but u know they're EXHAUSTED too. ITs unfortunate that she's sick but they're going to faint too if they keep on working. She is totally being rude and inconsiderate to their job, and to give an apology "I'm sorry for being sick" is totally out of line. I don't really care if Kangin was part of the discussion, it just show's how inconsiderate he is for not understanding the situation either. I mean seriously we all hate to wait, but u have to understand that people have reasons for what they do, I'm pretty sure if she was dying they would sacrifice their break for her, but obviously she came out ok. I think she's just being a drama queen.

And honestly Taeyeon is just ONE reason why I Dislike SNSD. I don't like their music and on top of that there are other members I cannot stand like Tifanny. I know you're their fan, and you like them; but I mean seriously... there's no justification for what she said lol. That doesn't mean u should now hate her or w.e. because people make mistakes, but this group as a whole just isnt for me at all. I don't like them and the more I hear about them the less I like them.

The similarity between these two groups ends at them both having "girls" in their group names in my opinion. Regardless, I pick the Wonder Girls. They're much better at everything tbh.

Wonder Girls, I pretty much like all of their songs. Girls Generation only has a few songs I like, alot of their album tracks are pretty boring to me.

They're like apples and oranges. Just because they're both Kpop girl groups it doesn't mean they're automatically the same :rolleyes

I've always preferred SNSD and I still do :heart The members have more diversity and interesting personalities, their concepts are always top notch, their choreography is flawless and they're always in sync, they release regularly and each song is better than the last (wheres WG promoted the same song for 2 years), and their big number allows them to promote in many places and do many activities at once. I firmly believe that SNSD is the best Asian group right now, they totally deserve the "national idol group" title :yes

I have nothing against WG, but their music isn't as good, their concepts are boring, their choreo is simple, and the members don't really interest me :shrug

Both. SNSD is my #1 girlgroup, and i love both their music and personalities. Wonder Girls are amazing too, and their last album was perfect in every way :3 oh, and Yoobin is like the sexiest rapper ever in kpop :laugh

Sorry, I don't wanted to say that they are the same because both are kpop girl groups. I'm not into kpop and just realized that this are two different groups. For some reason I always thought it's just one.

Girls' Generation, hands down. They are amazing performers and they get better with each new release. I love the diversity of their members as well.

SNSD for sure, they are all so talented and I never really felt anything special for Wonder Girls, they are a group of pretty girls who happen to be able to sing properly. Even though I loved the vintage look they had for Nobody :)

I'm not a fan of either one...but Girl's Generation has more songs that appeal to me than Wonder Girls has.

SNSD only because I'm a huge fan of their Japanese album. Their Korean music along with the Wonder Girl's in general, is just plain boring.
