Is anyone else's A Complete a little messed up?
 

i just got my copy of A Complete. I bought the hong kong version from yesasia.

im just listening to it now, and all of the tags are wrong on my computer. the artist label for each song is a different avex artist. it lists namie amuro, trf, every little thing, hitomi, and all sorts of other artists.

and you know what....the track titles are wrong too!

this is what the tracks are tagged as:
poker face
friend
you
trust
for my dear
depend on you
two of us
whatever
love~destiny~
love~since 1999~
to be
boys and girls
trauma
end roll
monochrome

although so far, the correct songs have been playing....
what the hell...is anyone else's like this?


actually...all the discs are tagged with the exact same tracklist and the same artists....

That's weird o___O Mine was tagged right... Is it a bootleg maybe, or is your computer retarded? I remember my Angela Aki home single had a similar problem

Mine was tagged fine -- some songs had the name capitalized or were in lowercase but other than that it wasn't a problem.

That's really weird that it would do that though :( When you play the tracks, are they the songs as they should be as listed on A COMPLETE's back cover?

I thinkt hat happens to the OS press only. For my copy, I haven't tried disc 1 because I played it using VLC player, disc 2 is the tracklist of A BEST... BUT. With different artistes. So I'm like.... What..? LOVE ~Destiny~? BY NAMIE AMURO!??!? Then for me, disc 3 is the whole of Secret album. So No way to say became Not yet and Who... (Chinese version) became Secret. XD

Yeah that happened to me, I just changed it to the proper titles, I got the JP version btw.

My Asian CDs do that a lot. I just fix the tags and go on my way.

mine got wrong too....v disappointed with whoever who arranged it..

don't worry, you are not the only one. I played AC in wmp and it was also tagged wrong but I fixed it and it was JP version :)

Might be just a data error. It doesn't really matter anyway, you can't see it when you play it on a CD player. XD;

I remember a similar thing happening, but nothing huge. It was with Namie's Queen of Hip-Pop CD and it had cover art for it with the SM Town logo on it, even though it was a HK version. XD;

mine is messed up too. but i dont really care cos i buy the product to keep it not to use it.. so after i admire the product, i will keep it in my drawer. :)

i checked. It is just Microsoft database wrong!
there are no information on CDs, i had "Untitled Artist" - "Track 01" before i wished to connect Microsoft database and get information about the Album. And i've got wrong information even if i have japanese version

Mine did that too. I was using Windows Media Player, and the tags were basically like that. When I played it with Real or iTunes, it was fine.

iTunes tagged my JP version fine; If its wrong then just retag it. You should beable to do that in WMP if you only use the CD by editing the database disk or something. I dont remember, not used WMP in many years

But it works fine when you use itunes! They are perfectly tagged there.

and yeah, i just switched the tags in wmp.
i never use itunes, so i didnt see if they were tagged right there or not.
still...thats kind of annoying :/

Seems to be a wmp problem, my tags (jp version) came up really weird when I ripped it in wmp.

Actually my copy is a real copy from CDJapan and I had the same problem.
I think that Windows Media Player just messed it.

No mine was tagged like that as well I believe. And mine was not overseas press.

There is nothing wrong with your cd or pc. its just a mistake in the database. It happens to so many cds even non asian ones and cds by well known artists. WMP lists So Young Live by the Corrs as a traditional song. I'm shure the corrs would feel honored to hear that their song is a traditional :P And one of my Nightwhish songs is named Tutankbamon (yes with a B in it) because of the databast (altough thats Itunes that screwed up)

Oh guy u have such a problems. If its wrong then try to find it again and choose exactly AC. Or edit them by yourself...

Aah, yes!

Disc 3 was fine (I ripped them onto my computer in reverse order) but disc 2 was given the track titles of LOVEppears and disc 1 was Secret's track names.

Disc 2 started with the name of LOVEppears' 2nd track, Fly High and ended with Who...
Disc 1 was the exact same track name order of the original Secret album.

Also, both Discs 1 and 2 picked up the image for Secret on my media player, disc 3 picked up an image of BoA :D

I never heard that problem before , sorry.
My CD is Japan version.
But sometime DVD is hard to play.

maybe it is just gracenote (previously CDDB) who messed it up?

wow that sucks. I didn't know this type of thing happened. mine was tagged right, but I have the JP version..though I dunno if that even means anything. :laugh go complain and get another one 8D its weird how they can get tags wrong..

It's not a bootleg and the computer is not retarded. I think it's a singapore production problem. It's licensed to the warner music branch here and they did the programming wrong. But those that ripped the songs using iTunes or some other programme didn't have problems. Only those that ripped it with music player.

that sucks, indeed... maybe using a different program?
