INTRODUCTION

The elder members of Hello! Project are soon going to graduate from Hello! Project on March 31st 2009. Which means that many of them are doing a few last projects before they leave to launch their success towards whatever they will do outside of Hello! Project. Previous 4th generation Morning Musume members Yoshizawa Hitomi and Ishikawa Rika have formed this group "HANGRY&ANGRY" to promote the Harajuku clothing line named the same, "HANGRY&ANGRY" by clothing designer "h.NAOTO".

DETAILS

Yoshizawa Hitomi (Yossie) is representing or playing the character "Hangry" which is a male character with a pink and blonde mohawk, he wears pink and black mostly. Ishikawa Rika (Charmy) is "Angry" a female character with a hat / scarf. She wears mostly blue and white.

I hope I'll be able to get this. The two songs they have up on their MySpace sound really good.

I forgot that there was going to be another song up on their site today! I love Yossie and Rika, so I'm glad that they formed this group, especially since all of Elder Club is graduating H!P.

Anyways, I'm excited to hear this, the track released so far is very good, however I don't have high hopes for several releases after this

their hairstyles and clothes... is this a new fashion?

It's kinda gothic lolita and punk put together, it's getting more popular in Japan. This clothing line is called "HANGRY&ANGRY" same name as their group because they are promoting the clothing line debut.

I like h.NAOTO and this group really caught my attention, I found them very interesting and like their gothic style... and found it very weird that they would use myspace O.o

lol that's something new to hear :D btw gothic and punk are one of my "favorit" styles :D nvm this girls look nice :P

That's great to see the single will be sold in the U.S. as well unfortunately I'm Canada.

Anyways, I really like this song and video is pretty good even though some of the effects were pissing me off after awhile. The chemistry between Yossie and Rika is just amazing although when Rika was touching Yossie... I was like WHOA! I wasn't expecting that at all. Is it just me or at 0:48 and 1:08 Yossie looks a bit like Anna Tsuchiya

I'm hoping that the website you can order it from ships to Canada at least <.<

The effects were cheesy and the pv seemed like..I dunno I don't wanna say 'poserish' but I still enjoyed it. I'm happy these two were chosen cause as you said the chemistry was great, and yeah she did look like Anna there :laugh

The PV was interesting, although the effects are kinda ERR ... CHEESY? But then yup, their fashion rocks! And I love the part when Rika suddenly turns violent and throws ANGRY at the screen! Ouch. But yup, goth!

I like Yossie a lot, it's like she's so suited for this! Rika's good too, but her voice is still a bit back in the H!P days, so I hope she'll be able to ramp it up in this new duo.

So the mini-album is out and my thoughts are....omg this week has been full of up and downs for me. like Ai Otsuka and Perfume were down, GND was alright, and capsule and HANGRY & ANGRY are on the top this week

Romantic ni Violence and KMKM are aweeeeeeeeesome and so are the other tracks.

Well i loved every song on the album, except Wall Flower, which is just good. I can't believe they are not ranked well in Oricon, too bad...

In the US, can we buy the mini album at a store, or can you only order it online..?

Yup, I can see why you hate what's considered as normal, when I look at your signature.. no offense.

I see violent love as usually involving someone very dominating and someone very submissive.... sometimes it can also involve the pain/pleasure mix and sometimes it can just mean that it's somewhat frenzied and frantic

And yes I do hate what's considered 'normal' because in this day and age anything that isn't 'normal' is shunned and looked down upon by society and I don't believe that that's right.

I know that it's not normal because it involves Emilie Autumn and her Bloody Crumpets, and they aren't a normal group of people, which is simply awesome.

Finally I got to listen the album and I loved Angelina even more than Kill Me Kiss Me, by the way these are the best song in the album ^^
but the others are very good too!! I don't understand how this didn't managed to sold well in Japan T_T

How come over half of your posts seem to mention this Emilie person I've never even heard of? And with how much of a commercial pop object Ayumi Hamasaki is, I'm surprised you like her.

I've never mentioned how much of a 'commercial pop object' Ayumi is.
I have mentioned how much I dislike the days PV but that's it.
I haven't mentioned her at all in this thread so I'm not quite sure where you're coming from.
In fact if you actually looked through my previous posts you'd ntoice that I'm actually quite complimentary to Ayumi, she is still my 2nd favourite artist and Guilty is up there on my top 10 albums of this year, so, no, I don't think that SHE is a commercial pop object..... I think that a few of her PVs are commerical and generic but not her.

And I mention Emilie a lot..... mainly because I like her a lot and it's a shame that no one's heard of her considering just how amazing she is.
And have you noticed that I only mention her when it's relevant... such as in this thread when Lumix mentioned my signature which is of Emilie Autumn...... hence the need to mention her.

Contrary to popular belief it IS possible to listen to and like to very very opposite artists.

Ummm...wow, you completely missed the point of my post. I was saying that Ayumi is a commercial pop object, not that you said she was. And whether or not you actually mentioned her in this thread, you clearly like Ayumi if you're on a board dedicated to her. My point is that she is an enormous pop culture symbol, and perhaps symbolic for Japanese commercialism in general, which is perhaps the most "conformist" thing to be into, but you still like her while claiming that you despise the norm so much. And I never said that your mentioning of Emilie w/e was irrelevant, just that you do it a lot. I think you just like to bring her into every subject as if people know or even care who she is.

Well then I'll mention my final point....

That it is, contrary to popular belief, possible to like two artists on opposite ends of the music spectrum.

I will also say that I said something in the wrong way earlier about hating what's normal.
It's not that I hate what's normal, I hate how our society can immediately decide what is and what isn't normal and how the things that are not 'normal' are then shunned by the rest of society.

In all honesty I think more people SHOULD know about Emilie because it is very rare to find an artist as talented as she is. The fact is she deserves being talked about a lot, because otherwise no one is going to know about her.

I'd go, but I'm already going to too many cons next year. And Washington's a little too far away for me. :(
