Umm, hello.. can anyone tell me what is this FNS exactly??? Sorry, I don't know much..

FNS Kayousai is a music festival thing. It's been held at the end of every year for like over 20 years. I don't know the exact date of when it started, but it's basically become a staple end of the year show like Kouhaku and the Music Station Special. It's kinda set up like an award show, but I don't think they actually hand out awards. It's like 3 hours long and has a bunch of artists perform a hit song on it in front of all the other artists. Ayu has been on it since 1999 and I doubt she would sing Mirrocle World. She's only done faster songs a few times, she has gotten into a habit of doing songs like Dearest (Voyage, No Way to Say, Pride, JEWEL, Together When). So I think she might perform Days.

If you are watching Fuji TV (フジテレビ) then you are watching the correct thing. At the bottom of the KeyHoleTV list, currently has almost 2000 viewers.

I see also that you mentioned compilations of old songs being shown, that further proves you are watching FNS. They usually show VTRs of performances from years back. I always personally enjoy watching those. :D

Ayu is usually close to end of the show. It might take awhile because it ends at 23:15 JST and the time is 20:37 currently. A lot of people seem to believe she will sing song (most likely Days) + SEASONS acapella. Can't wait if they are correct or not.

I'd think Days would be a good choice...if she's gonna be on near the end, I won't bother watching 2 and half hours of random bands/singers I know nothing of and will most likely not be too bothered about...
any genius idea of how I could not watch it, but make sure I didn't miss ayu?
