An hour ago I was read on a journal of an italian girl who lives in Japan some shocking rumors about my beloved Ayu, and I'm really upset. :grumpy

Those rumors said that Ayu is whimsical and a bad person.

I read that she was flirting with SAM when he was still Namie's husband, 'cause Ayu want to take down her, or that Ayu has rich lovers during her relantionship with Nagase. And she was cure a lot of sexual deseases.

The most shocking for me was when an ex-teamayu member win a meet with her. During the meet Ayu says at members to spread that Ami Suzuki's PV, Negaigoto, was a copy of her PV Alterna. Ayu words was 'Ami is a b**ch she want to ruin my career' ...after that the member canceled the registration on TeamAyu.


Some knows other bad things about Ayu? ç__ç

That's why they're called RUMORS. I really doubt Ayu is a rude or a bad person. :rolleyes

I remember there was an off-shot on one of her DVDs during a rehearsal where she scolded her dancers and said of their dancing: "It looks unnatural... really. Unless it looks better, I cannot get up on stage for this."

HOWEVER I think this may have been a little staged for dramatic purposes. They showed this clip on Japanese news, so I think it may have been to make people think "Oooh Ayu's dramatic encounters... I should buy this DVD!!"

I also wonder how much of her fortune Ayu donates to charity? This doesn't necessarily make one a good person, but I'm curious to know which charities she favors.

I think I know what video you're watched. I think the one that Ayu pointing her finger to some audience who didn't stand up as all other audience stand. They are mean. They should stand while others did. They are sitting at the front but so mean.I think that the video you watched. Am I right?

It could have also been CDL 06-07 Documentary. I can't really understand most of the Japanese, but it looked like Subaru got a pretty harsh lecture. They even interviewed him afterwards.

oh, i like more rumors (i heard once at popski it seem) that Ayu is such a b**ch that she is threating avex to get best music for he songs, stealing it from other artists - and there also was written tht she treat avex if they were fire Max she will create her firm and invite otherartist there. Rumor also has it that Ayu is a cuteness vampire and somehow sucks the energy out of us. Ayu is so cute because she sucks out the cuteness from other people and lets out her excess cuteness through her blogs. I mean the evidence is in her blogs, I'm speechless.

There was this other rumor that stated she was a werewolf, but that's just in a PV, that's obviously fake and totally unbelievable.

These rumors are hilarious.

Ayu is a person. That's all. She has good and bad qualities, just like the rest of us, but what is good and what is bad is purely subjective.

Example: the dancer thing. Ayu probably is a ***** at work. Do you guys know what it's like to be a performer? To be in practice all the time getting ready for the show, and EVERYTHING HAS TO BE PERFECT. It's stressful as hell. Do you know what it's like when you have to work with a group and people are not getting it right over and over? Maybe you're not getting it right either. People are sleeping 4 hours a night. Everyone's tired. Everyone's frustrated because the show must have no flaws. People are probably yelling at each other in addition to Ayu saying what she feels.

Ayu is the boss and she has EVERY RIGHT to say whatever she wants to her employees to make sure that she's giving the best show possible.

It's not a testament to her personality at all. Ayu and her team are like family. They understand each other, and they work together, and bring us awesome shows (usually).

As for the rumors, I can't believe that you guys would even consider these things as true, or even have them affect you.

There are people on this earth who HATE Ayu with all of their being, and you guys are just going to have to square with that one day.

oh and off topic, what's the japanese word for *****? Ayu sure loves that word in rumors :laugh

the guy was Ken from L~arc~en~ciel...it was from Music Station...it was funny when he talked about it while ayu was there. Also ayu invited her fans to her hotel coz they found her lost dior ring that was given by mikajohn. Anyways, I don't believe in those rumors.

If it were true then Ayu wouldn't have much of a reputation for being nice, would she? She's always having fun in her PVs and the concerts and even in regular paparazzi snaps she never seems annoyed with the attention.

If Ayu were a true diva, after ten years in the business it would be an established fact and not just hearsay...

There was actually an article about the charity thing a few years back that painted Ayu as a bad person because she didn't give to charity, while Namie was a good person because she had often given large sums to charity or something.

As for the rumors posted above, they are a bit extreme, haha. But true or not, it shows how many people in Japan do actually have a low opinion of her because none of those rumors are things that I'm hearing for the first time.

Cus she doesn't treat her dancers that badly during off-shots, and her TA messages seem more like friends with her dancers rather than Boss and employee relationship...

And with the dancers thing, she is her boss and has all the right to scold them. I´m sure that anytime she does something wrong, her staff scold her too. Anyway, she has always been very nice with everyone, much more than a lot of artists, and even BoA said that she was very nice with her when she was no one. So, I think she isn´t a bad person. But actually, if she were, I wouldn´t care much as long as she keeps releasing good music. Get over it, Ayu may be your fav. singer, but she´s not your girlfriend/best friend to think of the good and bad things she may have done. She is human after all.

As for these rumors...they look pretty weak to me. I don't think she would do/say any of those things. And those rumors about Ami, if they were true they'd have to be from a very long time ago because Ami is a shell of her former self success-wise if you compare her now to back in the late 90's to 2000. Even back in the day Ayu was already seeing enough success with her singles to compete with Ami...I don't see a need to "bring her down". As for all these scandals...where's the evidence =|? Anyone capable of reason is able to fabricate stuff like this.

Yep. She's the boss of those dancers but I bet Kobayashi Shingo is pretty harsh on her when it comes to band/singing rehearsals lol. It makes sense that since she's in control of most if not all aspects of her career, she knows what she wants best, and if she doesn't get it she'll say something. She's not afraid to say what's on her mind; that's just the type of person she is and she's even said so herself. I think I respect that side of her the most. I'm sure the dancers do too even if they are on the side that's receiving a lot of heat haha.

i don't know Ayu personally..so i don't know what kind of person Ayu is..
but from all the making off vids, documentaries...on her DVDs..
i can feel that Ayu's a kind-hearted person..
look at the way of her greeting ppl...she really respects other ppl...

Overall I think it's obvious what kind of person she is. She has all the traits that a good person exhibits. One look at some of her song lyrics (Who..., Present, TO BE come to mind) tell you just the kind of person she is. I find it very hard to believe she could be a bad person and have the traits of modesty and gratefulness.

She scolded the new members in CDL 07 - 08, because they were not performing with their full energy..
She said they could not go on stage if their energies were different or something similar.

She also cut out Midoring and the other girl ribbon dancey thing, so they showed that in asia tour 2007.

But I think a lot of people dont like her because they are always looking for something wrong.
Some people are really jealous about ayumi, or they think "why is she singing this songs still? she is 30?"
But I think even those people who say those things, they dont really hate her.
Just trying to find something wrong all the time.
There is still something proud about Hamasaki to the Japanese people, I feel.
But most Japanese people dont even know about the rumours, because they dont care.

It's true, she threatened to leave, because Max was her mentor.
But I think after that, and after 2004 Super interview... her popularity began to drop.
People saw a new side that they did not see, a very powerful side.
It is almost overwhelming.

I guess people are just tiring of the rumors, maikaru. Very well put though. I don't know if Max was being fired but the story goes that he and someone else (Tom Yoda I think?) got into a dispute. Ayu and many other big names said they would leave in the event that Max moved. So yeah, she wields a whole lot of power if she made this Tom Yoda resign because avex stocks plummeted as a result of the feud. That's how it should be I think though. She can be an adult and not the sweet cute pop idol everyone sees her as when necessary.

Admittedly, I use to be one of those people trying to find things wrong with her because everyone talked about her and it kind of got on my nerves. Over time, I saw her for who she really was and now I'm one of her biggest fans. Further more, I was never able to find a single piece of dirt on her =).

I thought it was *****y when Ayu told the two female dancers that their ribbon performance would be canceled from AT07 Secret outro. But instead, they got to do their ribbon performance DURING a song at AT08, which is 500 times more important! As everyone will watch the song, and then see the ribbon performance! But a lot of people will skip outro's. So I was happy with that! :)

^That is a sign that she´s not that bad. She canceled the ribbon dance, and, in "compesation" when they got it right she decided to use it and this time she gave it a better spot inside the show. That´s quite cool of her, y´know.

I'm really not going to give these rumors much consideration, myself. The way they sound makes them ridiculous, and of course when you're the biggest pop star in Japan, people are going to start nasty rumors about you. Maybe she's not perfect, but no one is. And we don't know her personally, so there's no reason to judge.
