今日は、みんなに謝らなければならない事があります。

一昨日、過労により、貧血をおこし、かなり高い場所から落下してしまいました。
その際に、右手に損傷を負ってしまいました。

慌てて昨日、手術を受けて来たのですが、痛みに関して言えば、
３週間ほどで治まるとの事でした。

こんな大変で大切な時期に、私の自己管理能力の至らなさから、
このようなアクシデントを起こしてしまった事、本当に悔しく、無念
な思いでいっぱいです。

そして何より、みんなに申し訳ない気持ちでいっぱいです。

本当にごめんなさい。

まだ、マイクを持つ事すら出来ない状態な為、今夜、歌わせて頂く
予定だったMUSIC STATIONへの出演は、やむなく断念する事に
なりました。

MUSIC STATIONスタッフの皆様、あゆスタッフの皆、そして今夜の
放送を楽しみにしていてくれたみんな、多大なるご迷惑、ご心配を
おかけする事態となってしまった事、本当に本当に申し訳ありませ
んという言葉しか、今は出て来ません。。。

自分の治癒力を信じ、願い、日々を過ごして行こうと思っています。

この１０周年という１年間は、最後の最後まで、たくさんの試練の
連続なのだなぁと、改めて感じています。

でもきっと全て、神様が、今この１０年目にして、あえて幾つもの
試練を私に与えて下さっていて、逃げずに向き合い、これらを全て
乗り越えられたら、その先には綺麗に広がる空がある、、、そんな
事を教えられているような気がしています。
もっと、もっと、強く、優しくなれる、と。

手術は、、、とてもこわかった。
でも、麻酔を打って、効き始めるまでの間、番長が私の手をぎゅっと
握っててくれてたんだ。
それはそれは、心強いものでした。

それからどの位の時間が経ったのかはハッキリ解らないけれど、
気付くと麻酔が切れていて、だんだん激しい痛みが襲ってきたけれ
ど、執刀して下さった先生が笑顔で「もう大丈夫ですよ」と言って下
さった瞬間、張りつめてた気持ちが一気に緩んで泣き出しそうに
なってしまいました。

This is bad, I hope she gets better soon. If she can't recover by 12/30 maybe she can change the PCDL concert into an A museum type of concert. I don't think she will put all that rehearsal and etc to waste.

Oh my...I wonder what kind of operation she had to undergo; it sounds pretty bad =|. I hope it does not leave any scars.

I'm guessing the lack of sleep and all that stress really caught up to her. I really wish she would take more care of herself. She's trying her hardest for all her fans yet it also pains me to see the lengths she goes to to make ends meet. She really should not have to apologize for what happened though...her fans will always stand by her all the way.

If she has to cancel CDL because of this I think she should (like that'll happen knowing Ayu though haha)...if this injury is as bad as described I really don't want her to do anything before she's fully 100%. According to the doc that's in 3 weeks...and CDL is in 5 days. Knowing avex she probably won't have a choice but to do the show that has been planned for months.

^ Hand in Japanese is "te", arm is "ude". Her blog post uses "migi te" or "right hand". So, yeah, no chance of there being any errors.

She's really upset over not performing in MS so I don't think she'll cancel PCDL, she's too strong to do that even if doctors say she must rest she'll make... even so, I would like to see how she realizes is a human person, not a Avex robot... Apologies if this has already been posted but I did look through the news and couldn't find it.

It appears that its only been announced today -

J-pop diva Hamasaki Ayumi (30) had to undergo emergency surgery after she injured her hand in a fall on Christmas Eve. Her agency didn't reveal the extent of the injury but said she had surgery on Christmas Day. On doctor's orders, she has had to cancel a scheduled appearance on today's edition of the TV Asahi show "Music Station."

It reminds me the leg incident in STADIUM TOUR 2001 where she fell to a 2 meters hole and injured her leg but still performed on the same day even though it was hard.
I guess she had to cancel Music Station but I think she's strong enough to make the CDL in a few days! I think she really wants to keep the performance up.

First to say, I woke up around 3:00 a.m. this morning all because I slept early on Christmas night (9:00 p.m.!) I'll sure get more rest after this...

Discussing about this story, sorry about what she had. I believe she has gone way over the limit and just have gone over-utilized all because of this injury. Too bad she's not going to join this "music party" all because of this.

This announcement was pretty surprising and really shocking. I mean it - really, really shocking to say.

That's really sad to say. Ayu fans that were supposed to be at Makuhari Messe for this year's MSSL sure have got to be crying. It's really a sad thing to say when she has to withdraw all because of an injury. When was the last time she never missed MSSL before? Never. I think this is really a safe thing to do when you have a serious injury like this.

Try to compare this: Vodka, one of Japan's most popular horses, was automatically invited to this Sunday's 53rd Arima Kinen by popular vote. But the owner and trainer of this horse decided against it because she has gone up to her limit. Should Ayu do the same thing just for the MSSL to withdraw just like how the owner and trainer of the horse Vodka should do it? I'm sad to say, but sure enough, she's not going to join the "party".

Really, the MSSL is just one story. The Kouhaku and the PCDL are different stories. We've heard that she's going to perform first on the Kouhaku, which is really surprising for this, all because of the PCDL scheduling. But I'm just really concerned about this...

I mean, three weeks is long! Should she just try to calm down on her emotions all because she's tired of doing the PCDL preparations? Just all because of this, I think there is a possibility of canceling the PCDL all because she has gone way over the limit.

She just had a very busy Christmas day holiday, and I think she just made a very bad move prior to one of the most popular music events on Japanese television. Hopefully she could attend Kouhaku because Mirrorcle World is better for usage with a headset, unlike Days where you would use a microphone...

We'll just have to wait and see for further developments on the Kouhaku and the PCDL.

Someone on her entourage needs to take better care of Ayu, before she does
SERIOUS harm to herself. She's got a broken hand now, knowing her character, she's going to push doubly hard for the PCDL, to make it up to us fans, now that's scary !

Plus this PCDL is extended, 3 plus hours is tough enough when she's fighting fit and conditioned. With a painful broken hand, numb with painkillers and exhausted from rehearsals, plus supervising the concert, she might be a TKO contender.

Oh, by the way, did the hosts of Music Station announced on Ayu's cancellation yet? Please give us video on the announcement...

What happens about PCDL? I hope ayu will be ok T_T. She's a real fighter and so stronger u_u. She's going to cancel the Countdown Live too? I hope not u_u.

As with dome tour when she was injured....ayu doesn't cancel anything that her fans have paid good money to come see. no matter how hurt she is she does all she can to not satisfy her fans. i think that's probably why she gets hurt so often.

I got this feeling, knowing Ayu's strong (and sometime stubborn) character, she'll push herself and continue with PCDL. But, I hope she'll recover soon. She;s a type of girl who can't just sit down and relax, she always on the move because she loves her job/profession/career. And plus, she never disappoints her loyal fans

2008 was probably the worst yr for ayu ironically.

beginning of 2008, she announced that she went deaf on the left ear.

last few days of 2008, she fell down and had to went for an operation..

^she could use a headset mic if she really can't hold a mic but i still still the see cdl going a head

Ayu may cancel her performance for kouhaku =/, but she would most probably go ahead with PCDL as she is a person who doesn't give up easily and had put in ALOT of effort in the preparation of PCDL.
