i would like to see the whole perfomance (hopefully i will...) seems there were lots of costume changes!!! thank God she incuded will!!! Ayumi is such a hardworker!!!

How far is everyone downloading from raysource into the download? I'm around 50% done and my speed hasn't slowed down much since I started. :3 I have around 2 hours remaining.

btw, I really hope the report about Over being lipsynched isn't right. Angel's Song doesn't surprise me, but Over...can't really see a reason to lip synch that. I hope there aren't more lip synching moments than that.

Good to hear, people here tend to believe the rumors easily, but even if she did, she had to sing it at some point as the song had to be re-recorded and that doesn't change the fact it sounds really good :) I am 50% atm :(

ever heard of a nice thing called a back track? even when PECO and YOKO are there Ayu still uses it in many tracks while singing live ^^ Half of Koda's upbeat songs use it to (of course you could also say that she lip-syncs TABOO and many of her songs because of that..). You can't say someone's lip-syncing just based on one line (and btw why is all the ls talk so important to you? as you always seem to bring it up)

Have you actually watched it? I don't think so, because if you did, there is no way you could argue it. :) She doesn't have the mic anywhere near her mouth at that part and it is clearly Ayu's voice that comes out, not Peco or Princesses or a backing track. And for the record, I did not bring it up. Someone else in the thread mentioned it and I said I hoped it wasn't true. I saw the performance and it was true. There's somehow a problem with that? And I didn't say she lip synched the whole song either, I said that at least THAT LINE was for sure lip synched.

And no, I would never say Kuu lip synchs Taboo because she doesn't. You can clearly hear her voice apart from the backing track.

Exactly ^^ I didn't say it's not true (I've only got 50% of the file so I didn't watch the whole thing yet). back track = Ayu's recorded voice XD Even if she tried to sing a long to it it's still a back track :p You did say that Over was lip-synced in one of your posts first (and not just one line). But in the end it doesn't matter :)

It is not a backing track. For one, a backtrack is much softer. Please wait until you've actually seen something before defending it. And no, I don't recall saying that Over was lip synched.

Well i just finished watching 'over' gain, And Ayu totally does miss the part where you hear her say it's over. She does hit it at the very end of the song though. There is some doubt in my mind if she lyp synched it though. Because during 'evolution' When Ayu is sitting next to Yo-chan you clearly hear Ayu say Yo-chan wooo right beofore his solo yet her mouth does not even move.

I think there might have been a issue with sound synchronization, Because why in the world would Ayu lyp-synch Yo-chan woooo?

Wow, I actually haven't gotten to that part yet. Thats uhh...kinda scary if she pre-recorded a yo-chan woo part. hmmm. I mean I do wonder if its something strange with the file, but then at the same time there are plenty of other moments where her mouth movements are totally on. :shrug

and btw, this forum is really annoying these last couple of days. 9/10 I get an error message.

I have an encore file in my downloads, but the file size is too small to be the full thing. I think it's just till her MC, so Days and For my Dear...

LOL, yeah that would be ultra weird XD And yeah AHS is getting utterly annoying the last few days, sure the "Temp. not available" page is better than waiting 10 mins for the page to load, but still it's annoying as hell.

^Phew, glad to know the problem is not with my computer... If she has lipsynched something during this concert, I hope it's just the "it's over" part and Angel's Song. I'll be very dissappointed otherwise, since I was so happy over her improved vocals I completely forgot that she is half deaf..

I'm so happy she sung so many of her older album tracks! I was watching the main section while I was still downloading it and nearly died when I heard the opening notes for Heartplace seconds before my video cut out. My roommate was so confused when I started yelling at my computer. >_<

It seemed evolution was lipsynched too...

I think there is actually something wrong with the audio where you are talking about. Because you can actually hear the guitar solo start before he actually evens starts paying the guitar:P

Wasn't there lip-synching allegations last time though? But I heard it was from some Chinese male singer, and many claimed that he was just lying, I think.

I watched the whole thing this morning, and I just think it's a general sync issue. Nothing to worry about.

I watched the whole show right now, and I think "ANGEL'S SONG" and "evolution" are lip sync.
I have my doubts about "SIGNAL" and "vogue".

But "End of the World", "Real Me", "SCAR", "POWDER SNOW" and "Mirrorcle World" has IMPRESSIVE vocals!

That's right Andrenekoi! I guess a few songs are lip sync.
These songs you said are really awesome! It seems she gave her best to sing them! \o/

Anyway I don't think lip sync is a bad thing. We have to consider that she's injuried and she had anemia about 1 week before CDL. Singing about 30 songs for 2 days might have been hard to her, but she could do it!

WOW!! those are rare!! she almost never sang it on tour!!

Hmm, okay, the evolution bridge looks weird, the audio delay issue makes it hard to see if it's actually lip synced. Plus, she has done before that she lip syncs the bridge but not the rest of the song, so...

And the Yo-chan part is fine.. There's no reason at all why she would lip sync that lol. Can you honestly tell if she's moving or not moving her mouth in the way she's sitting and with that light?

And np with the lipsynch. It's just that I've seen people say it like that for a year now, and it's without h so I thought I should say something about it. xD

But other than ANGEL'S SONG and the sentence in Over, you can't really say that she lip synced anything. Her vocals are excellent throughout the entire concert. It's not like CDL 07-08 where she prety much sucked, and then suddenly has perfect vocals in STEP you and evolution. Then it's clearly lip synced. But here, no. ^^ It seems more like people aren't used to Ayu singing good and then think every good sung song is lip synced, but she's singing good pretty much the concert and not just a few songs so you can't really point out any lip synced songs.

everywhere nowhere sounds the most lip syncy along with HONEY, but at2:07:54 she kinda proves that everywhere nowhere is live. HONEY, I dunno, it seems lip synced with that high pitched voice and all.

I have been watching the performances on youtube and this is soooo good!!! Too bad though that she lip-syncs on the song Angel's Song... it's really obvious since she accidentally moves her mouth to the wrong part of the song :(

But, I don't really care since Angel's Song is probably impossible to sing live ^^

I'm a bit disappointed, and can only hope that this was a problem with the translation (for her singing mistakes) or some problem with the file.
Cause Over also had -many- mistakes, during evolution when she called out 'Yo-chan~' it was dark and hard to tell if he said it, but it looked a bit off...
(but during UNITE! on the TV screen, it was written as SURREAL, lol XD )

By 'mistakes' I meant.. parts where it looked as if she was behind the singing. There were many, basically, the whole song.
I get it why so many people say it was lip synched.
Because surely, "It's over~" came in way before she brought the mike to her lips.

Other than that, I'm still trying to decide if it was a problem with the translation on the TV, or the video file.

But those are just hopes :)

Actually on ayuchina they say that the TBS satellite signal was not very good that night from 11 p.m, that's why there are synchronization problems with image and sound in the video! Actually I have the full encore, and after MY ALL's choregraphy lesson, the sound is inaudible and the image is very blurred, so it was impossible for me to watch from +... The concert ends right after MY ALL.

Actually, if I were Ayu and wanted to lip sync certain songs, I wouldn't be so dumb as to make avoidable mistakes as such seen in ANGEL'S SONG and Over... but there are always exceptions! Either way, this PCDL is really a great fan-service and I would LOVE to part with my money to get my hands on the DVD!

Oh, yea, that's the file. Unless she lip synced everything and failed to mouth it properly due to mental retardedness. At least that's what I see. Because if you compare the vibrato in Over to, say, ANGEL'S SONG and HONEY, you notice her vibrato is muuuch rougher in Over. E.g.

I think she only lip-synched ANGEL'S SONG (and it's ovious she did, just think of the 'Kimi no se ni tenshi no hane o mita' where she sings motsu instead of mita).
When you edit the audio stream to actually fit the video songs like OVER or SCAR actually match her breathing and the way she does her 'vibrato-thing'.

Ok so I watched it (yea took me long enough), ANGEL'S SONG is defo lip synced (no one can argue that), Over was really weird, it might be that the did use a back track for that It' Over in question as it was too close to the previous line, and it didn't look like she tried to sing it, but it could be that it was LSed as well. I am pretty sure the rest was not lip synced, tough I had my doubts when it comes to SCAR but I guess no one can really prove if she sang it or not. The delays were obvious at times, but it's prolly due to either bad compression or the fact that the signal was weak as someone said. Over all the concert was ok, still can't beat an ARENA TOUR imo. For My Dear.. is simply AMAZING!

I haven't watched the concert yet, but looking at the pictures, I love her outfits! Especially the red dress.

She was singing for a really long time,
So that could explain the vibrato difference~
Like, she sang POWDER SNOW (which probably destroyed her vocal chords at that moment.. ahaha so high)

...personally i don't think it matters if anything was lipsung.

If she had sung it live and it sounded bad...people would be complaining about that too.

This is how I look at it...I would want to go to a concert to see someone that i admire sing songs that I love...if it's lipsync then it's probably better that way as it probably didnt sound up to par with live vocals.

I'd rather see something fantastic that sounds good than to see something that looks great but sounds terrible.

At least when she lip-syncs she records new versions of the songs. If she used the original studio version... then I'd be mad. xD

^Exactly. Its liek she only uses lip syncing once and awhile and only for big concerts never for TV promos or anything like that. And when it is lipsung its at least a new recorded version and not the original track.

LOL, unfortunately, I don't exactly agree with your list Melrose. Take it that I've not heard more than 50% of those performances, but whatever.

Lip-sync or not, I'm just grateful and proud of Ayu for putting a 3 hour concert... and singing songs that made me love them (SCAR! POWDER SNOW!)... and besides, every song is with her new vocals... at least she bothered to "record" new versions to lip sync (assuming that she really did)... better than syncing to the studio versions.

In any case, the only 2 performances which I've seen with my own eyes would be:

1) theme of a-nation' 03 in CDL 05-06 (TV version)
2) ANGEL'S SONG in PCDL

Simply because she mouthed the wrong word at that part of the song (and it would be impossible to make that syllable from your mouth at that kind of position... so no "benefits of doubts" here; and also I tried to defend ANGEL'S SONG, as I heard her singing a wrong part... I would try to find the video again and post it here for further clarifications)

That is the link to the ANGEL'S SONG performance. I suggest watching it in high-quality to get a better view. Okay here are the iffy bits.

1:40 - See how her mouth is actually shaped weirdly? I tried it myself and I can make the "ta" sound, but it's muffled. At that time, the "ta" was very loud and projected... so unless she has power diaphragms or something... it would seem weird.

2:38 - That line is supposed to be "Watashi wa mabataki sae mo oshimu no" but at the 'watashi wa' part, you (I, rather) can hear a 'watashi ni' somewhere. I'm very unsure if it's Peco or Ayu, but Melrose told me both were actually singing 'watashi wa'. So I watched a few more times... and I kind of realized that the 'watashi wa' sounds much lighter and softer than the rest of the song. I don't really think she lip-synced then... since she missed a note (upon more hearings, the 'watashi wa' really sounds like Peco and I don't hear Ayu; maybe she's drowned by Peco's OMGPOWER diaphragms). She most likely ran out of breath and couldn't have enough time to sing the 'wa'. But I could be wrong. *shrugs*

2:47 to 2:48 - This time, the line is "Kimi wa se ni tenshi no hane o motsu". Notice her lips are more in a pout-shape rather than that weird lip shape at 1:40? I honestly do not know what on earth happened at 1:40, but I'm quite sure this line is live.

That could be a technical problem or anything like that. No one knows for sure because most of us are just watching from youtube/downloaded versions which have problems.

What I want to say is, I don't really believe that ANGEL'S SONG is lip synced. My heart really tells me to believe Ayu, and I guess I would because I have watched this performance several times... I believe her. And it's up to you whether you want to think she lip syncs. In my opinion, whether she lip syncs or not, she still has a certain honesty in her music. Though personally, I would feel hurt if she really does lip sync, cos it's just some sort of a... lie that you tell your fans?

"I'm doing a live but I lip sync a song!"... It's like I don't know. I'm a fan... and I really want to see her singing live instead of lip sync... because how do we say this... lip syncing is akin to a runner taking steriods. It's just taboo and not a very glorious act.

But at the end of the day, I would still support Ayu because I would understand, if she really did lip sync. I hope no one feels offended.

It took forever and my internet kept crashing all the time x_x STUPID CHARTER!!! Where is my "High Speed Cable"?????? Ok anyway....i bet no one wants WILL uploaded since theres already 2 videos with WILL in it on YT so I probably wont do that one. OH YEAH! I noticed this when I was uploading uh....SURREAL....they labled part of UNITE! as SURREAL so I uploaded it, listened and I thought I made a mistake. But then when SURREAL really started the word SURREAL came on screen again x_x

She lip sung Angel's Song for At 03-04 but it definitely was not the same track used for Memorial address CD. I'll have to listen but she may have used the same rerecorded track for PCDL. Oh and that youtube link of Angel's Song is completly out of sync with the audio (even in high quality)!! i don't think anyone could lip sync that bad! ;)
EDIT: Wait maybe its just her messing up the lyrics again haha at :53. God I think we just need to wait for the DVd, yes the audio may be redone, but honestly these clips, especially youtube, can be poorly synced at times. Sometimes its in sync, sometimes its not.
...Anyways who gives a care if she did or not, we know she can sing live and she din't lip sync the whole concert.

She says motsu when she was supposed to say mita. Also, at the second time that motsu comes up, she turns her head away and covers her mouth a bit - it seemed like she still wasn't sure if she was singing the right line and didn't want it out there for everyone to see if she made a second mistake. The slight audio sync error should not be an issue at this part of the video. Especially since I have a fixed audio version of the file and everything in it is perfectly in sync, yet the Angel's Song and Over mistakes are still the same. So for Angel's Song, it's basically the same problem as with Theme of A-Nation at cdl 05-06 and safe to say that it was lip synched. Other songs may be up in the air, but Angel's Song is the only one that you could say is basically confirmed.

I still love Ayu though. Her occasional lip synching is disappointing because I always prefer live vocals even if they might sound bad but there are still enough other things that I appreciate that it doesn't turn me off from being a fan.

@ Arenia: I'm really sorry. But this is an issue that's related to the singer... it's just like how in a Pokemon forum people complain how the Battle Tower is imbalanced, or how in a Yu-Gi-Oh forum people complain about the dub, or how a Cristiano Ronaldo forum has people discussing about him playing cheats.

It's part and parcel of what this subject does, in this case Ayu. Don't get any of us wrong... I just think it's wrong to blindly love something and ignore every mistake/wrong thing that was made... I, for one, understand why she would do all these things, and I respect her for that.

I really hope I don't bring up another heated discussion (especially with the forum not really working that well) but apart from Angel's Song, which is basically confirmed, and that line in Over, is there any other suspicions even after the audio appears to be in sync?

Overall, I love this concert. Except for the weird fairy costume with the matching bathrobe.

I really wouldn't want to say since I basically got raked over the coals in other thread even though I hadn't really said anything wrong to begin with and I definitely don't want to go through that again. :) If others want to take a shot at it though, go ahead.

The video is definitely out of sync with the audio, Ayu would not make such an ametuer mistake to mouth the words totally out of time for the entire song.

And she has lip synced in the past IMO, this is not the first time. She did two 3+ hour concerts, give her a break.

She did indeed say motsu in ANGEL'S SONG where it should have been mita. But, despite that, what a great setlist!! I'm upset she hasn't sung the songs she sang now a few years ago, when she could still sing as good as she did then.

Especially Over. Thank goodness for that song, it's so beautiful! And SCAR!!

I proved evolution AT07 and CDL0708, they used the same track to lipsynch on in both concerts/tours(except the first part where ayus in the air) somebody said its the track from AT06, but i dont have AT06 evolution, so i cant confirm that, but AT07 and CDL0708 are exactly the same after the first chorus

and recording new versions is just normal, many artist do it, some even say it in interviews(i think morning musume(not sure) once said they were going to studio before a tour to record the playbacktracks) and why would she have to remember new things? its a rerecording of the same song, its just done so it sounds like her current voice and not like 1998-i-catched-a-cold-and-had-it-for-5-years-ayu, also, these studio recordings are live-recordings, recorded in 1 or 2 takes, depending on if they were mistakes in them, recording the files for 2 or 3 songs will take a few hours and it wont cost much money(and ayu probably has a home studio, as well, where she doesnt need to pay anything)
