Shacihata is the low song(what isn't really a song..more like dabadas) that had be doubting it was even her.

I just noticed she's releasing her single on the same day as Ayumi, Ami Suzuki, and Hitomi Shimatani.

It looks like Avex doesn't care anymore about chart positions, and they want to get all the singles out as much as they can of their artists. They are DESPERATE. -___-

It is really sad. Avex seems to be squeezing everything out of their artists. :/

recut singles are always very tricky , I have a feeling that it might dampen/destroy her top10 record cos that happened for Ken Hirai :(

Utada's lucky because her fanbase's still big in japan & Prisoner Of Love was used to promote 1 of the most watched dramas last year which was Last Friends

so for Bye Bye to match up , I really don't know

I'm loving the Bye Bye cover, though I have such mixed feelings about the CM. First of, does she have contacts in? O_o Her eyes seem to be a...different color. Second, why is that song promoting a beer. Lastly, they only play her song for like...3 seconds. Why bother? :laugh

I really like the cover/promo pics. They give of a feeling of bye bye on a positive yet a little sad side.

When the CM started I thought it will be one of those (partly) non-instrumental CMs. That ai will start singing and then the music will kick in. But when she started talking I was like "Huh!? O_o".
I still don't understand the need to release this single. The writing in the CM reads ""BYE BYE" from "LOVE LETTER"", so it's basically album promotion. It seems that at first it was rumoured(?) to have a drama tie-in. Then I would kind of understand a re-cut single, because in a drama the song would be played for at least a minute every week throughout a few months. But why for a CM?

^Shouldn't they add something to re-cuts? Even if they don't care for sales or chart positions. A B-side, remix, rearrangement. Fans wouldn't feel so ripped off then. Maybe those releases are for casual listeners, though, who like the song, but don't want to buy the album it's on, so they buy the single instead (in theory).
