Found the lyrics for 'Rule' and 'Sparkle' on 2ch. The lyrics for 'Rule' seem to be accurate, but we can't be too sure if the lyrics posted for 'Sparkle' are real yet. I've converted the kanji to romaji with some cheap online translator, so it's gonna be a bit messy. Hopefully someone will be able to translate and clean up the romaji!

Sorry I haven't been translating ayu's blog lately... I hope this makes up for it somewhat. I haven't translated in awhile, so I'm sorry if this is rusty. :)

I hope other people translate it. XD!! There's probably a bunch that got lost in this translation, there were some subtexts and things that I had a hard time describing... plus my grammar still pretty much sucks. But I guess there's that! :P

Hmmm seems like Rule and Sparkle share the somewhat similar lyrics layout ( Chorus > Verse > Chorus > verse > Chorus > Bridge > Chorussss )

interesting that it doesnt repeat the 1st chorus like rule though...but i hope Sparkle is just as long...
(i have a feeling that the bridge between verse and chorus will be resung before the final two choruses judging by the length of the lyrics....Something like Days)

It's good~ just there's a few mistakes in translation, like using passive tones, and those kinds of things.

Actually, I think that the fact that they have the same structure is weird...
I mean, before Days leaked, we had lyrics which ended by having nothing to do with the real thing, so I think Sparkle lyrics are fanmade, someone maybe wrote a song from the CM excerpt. So I'm waiting for the officialization of these lyrics ^^

^I'm quite sure she's aware of the fact that it's one word. She either mistyped it or chose a different way of romanization.
Some people write 言ってた as "itteta", others as "itte ta" or "itte'ta". Different people, different ways of writing something.

^Yes, it's 決める (kimeru).　決められた (kimerareta) is either past potential or past passive. In this case it's the later, because someone else decided the rules.

I made a mistake.
That line should be "This world is not yet the thing that we abandoned."
I will change it.
I got carried away by it.. ahaha.

It's one verb, kimeru. The romanization is a bit off, because that should be just one word. rareru is passive form of kimeru kind of verbs.

Usually when we are gonna to say kimerareta, it always means "decided by someone for us."
Kimereru is usually the accepted form for potentials.

Anyways, the sentence is kind of weird in english, because I dont think this kind of thing even exists in english.

The lines says like.. I will break down for you:

こんな世界もまだまだ捨てたもんじゃない
こんな世界 = This world
まだまだ ＝ Not yet/still/still long aways/ that kind of thing.
捨てた = Threw Away (past tense)
もんじゃない = Not the thing.

So if you put it together in english.. it says like.

This world is not yet the thing that we threw away/abandoned/etc.

I dont know how to explain it at all in english.. sorry. -__-

Don't find it rude at all :) I have never made any illusions about the fact that my Japanese basically sucks. I only translated the lyrics cuz no one had yet, and I needed the practice. :)

The parts of your translations that are drastically different are actually the parts i had the most trouble with, so thank you actually! I do have some thoughts on interpretation though, but I'll go through them and pick it apart, ask questions, etc. later on, because... well, the super bowl is on now. XD
