You should change information about Georgia.

I heard that yesterday in Brussels commite of Eurovison said that Georgian song doesn't fit to the standarts of the contest. They gave time to Georgia to change the song till the 16 of March.

Right in this moment Im watching the swedish finals (finally after 6 shows and 32 songs later). Its gonna be hard to send just one song away... Man they are so diffrent this year. And everyone is REALLY good!

Theres pop, disco, ballads, eastern-inpsired-ballads, one greek song sung totaly in greek, blues, metal/rock and opera!! Its a truly amazing show this finals tonight. ^^ I will update you with the winner later on. :yes

The majority of the songs suck. I don't mind Finland and Romania's entries though.

Aaah Im a bit dissapointed! After the international jurys votes and the swedish jurys points my favorites where all in top three! Then the swedish ppl votes where counted (and they are 12 times more woth, so a 12 point gets to be 144 points) and after that counting all of my favorites went down and in the top three came songs I didnt care for much at all..

But the winner is Malena Ernman - La voix (genre = Pop-Opera)

Ireland's entry sucks again but at least its not a frakin puppet this year ¬_¬

What happened to Ireland??? We used to win this all the time?? I guess its true that they put the worst act in to make sure that they don't have to fund it :lol:

Finally, Spain send a very good artist to Eurovision. I love Soraya, and I love this song!! For me, the best song of her new album. If anyone want it, I can upload it.

^Last year was intended to be a joke and I thought it was real fun to add some "freakish" stuff into the show. And Spain entry´s lately had been so low budget and crappy that I was happy for them to not try so hard that time.

And honestly, I think it was an amazing way to critise how the contest is getting more and more unfair as time passes by. Eurovision really needs a professional, neutral jury, and not to rely entirely on the televoting system. People vote because of the country, not because of the song, and Western european countries have like zero chances against the Northern ones.

SO dissapointed in Russia and Ukraine's entries this year. They're awful

And well, I've heard that a greek musician was selling a song to many countries, for the contest, and Spain bought it. Soraya's song is a greek song really.
For that reason, the song sounds a bit balcanic.

Im not that impressed of this years songs. Last year there where ALOT of songs that I loved right on the first listen but not now. I guess I have to listen to them over and over to start like them as much as I liked last years songs. Dumdidum...

I've seen/heard some songs of this years eurovision song contest. Some songs I haven't heard but I'm not very interested listening to them so much yet though.

I really hope that my country does better this year than last year. Agh, I'm so embarrased of the performance last year. I'm sure you lolled at it too. :D

I love how they incorporated ecthinc elements into this song naturally without making it cheesy or theatrical. The chorus is really catchy, the singer isen't *that bad* live and she's really hot. ;)

So I hope even if it doesen't win, we'll be dancing like "the balkan girls" this summer, much like Tornero was a big hit even if it ended up in 4th. There're already great remixes for this song.

It's one of the most watched television shows in the world, it's basically a paneuropean pop music competition that dates back to the 50s! :yes

It has been the breakthrough for many great artists like ABBA and Cline Dion.

I don't like the songcontest much, 95% of the songs are craps and most people dont vote for the best songs but for their favourite countrys, did you watch the german contestants of the past years? they were hilariously bad xD and germanys girlgroup of last year only got 12 points once...from a country where one of the singers has a tv show...

What seemed different this year, at least in this semi final, was that the songs that got through actually deserved it, all the crappy ones were eliminated. I would've liked to see Andorra and Montenegro too though, but only 10 could move on so it's fine.

I liked Romania's song,it was so dancy and great!And the male host...grrr,he was so irritating.NO,THE FEMALE ONE WAS ANNOYING TOO.

I'm so glad that Finland went to the finals. It would had been so sad if it hadn't. :D My country's eurovision history is a bit crappy at times but whatever.

Im pretty pleased with the songs who got to the finals.

Actually, I NEVER thought Sweden would make it. Haha. The sound mixing was aweful!! The chorus volume took over Malenas volume. Thats was really crappy, didnt sound that cool as it did in the national show. The same thing happend for Turkey. Poor girl got a male voice in the refrain since her male chorus got higher volume then her too. >.< I hope they have fixed that to the final.
Im also really happy that my favourites, Armenia, Iceland and Bos.&Herz. made it too! :)

And please please please meka the hostes a bit less excited this evening! Especially the male one. :P Haha.

But I have to add, I LOOOVE the stage! Its simply lovely! ^^

Yeah I have my highest hopes for Norway and Armenia tonight. I really hope someone of them will winn! :) Im not too bothered about Sweden but it would be cool to get a pretty ok rank. I also enjoy Portugal (waaaah its so cute!!), Iceland (sososo beautiful), Azerbaijan (no Arash cant rally sing but the girl have an AMAZING voice), Bos.&Herz. (a bit scary kom. but a really good song), Estonia (my god that girl is cute n' pretty and its nice that she sings her own language), Turkey, Albania (omg I LOVED that performance and wow the song is really cool too!) and Moldova (yeah its very funny and happy!).

And OMG for Ditas outfit if thats the real one that goes on pics by now?! That wont give Germany any extra points anyway. :P

It will xD We dont want to be last again, even if our song is crap(The song is by an artist known for songs like "Du hast den schönsten Arsch der Welt"(you've got the best ass of the world), "Doktorspiele"(doctor games), "du bist so porno"(you are so porn!) and "liebe zu dritt"(love with three) in collaboration with an artist called Y-Ass(o.0)xDDD At least the songs are more normal and less sexual now xD)

^The main thing why I said so was because that Germany send a swing song for like 2 years ago and now again. Only that the older song was sooo much better. :) And I just gets a bit throwed off by hearing swing again but not as good as the last time.

@MissElin Germanys music is just bad, thats the main reason we need Dita^^ I think the swing-artist we send 2 years ago actually was quite nice, our only decent contestant for years, but aside that, everything is *****

EDIT: Lithua(dont know how to write), Israel and the opening song were disappointing, I didnt know Eurovision was playback, only Isreal seemed live yet...

The Cirque du Soleil opening was awesome. I love their performances.

That woman singing in Azerbaijan's entry is pretty hot... either that or it's just my eyes and the poor quality. Their song was catchy, too!

the ukraine had great props, but was quite ****ty and the painted muscles were funny xD I dislike the song, but its someway catchy
romania is okay, dancers costumes remind me of some of ayus costumes(namely M/appears AT07 and Endless Sorrow/BoY CDL0506)

Ukraines´s performance remembers me of a certain Britney Spears Perfoprmance XD

theres different nations in different sections i think and the section of the nation performing goes wild...thats my explanation at least

Why do all the songs suck each and every year xD I swear the German song sounds like a cheap rip off of BoA's Obsessed. The fairytale guy looked cuter on youtube, his singing sucks and the lyrics are really dumb too. Beh the whole show sounds as lip synced as usual ^^ I couldn't even bother listening to the whole songs. The stage looks nice and huge :D
