NEXT LEVEl is a great album, I like it a lot (better than Guilty imo), but I like TRICK better.

Ayu's NEXT LEVEL played Koda's TRICK out the window for me.

With only three songs, [TRICK] [Bling Bling Bling] & [JUST THE WAY YOU ARE] versus Ayu's 13/14 songs...Ayu just blew her out of the frickin' water for me.

NEXT LEVEL (while it's not an AMAZING album) is much better album than TRICK.

I only liked TABOO and JUST THE WAY YOU ARE on TRICK.

I pretty much enjoyed every single track on NEXT LEVEL, plus the singles are enough for me to declare this the better album of the two.

What is Trick? Never heard of it. Next Level FTW!

hmmm....i can't decide. it's like BoA's album and utada's album...i like both :laugh

i'll just go with TRICK. not just because i prefer kumi over ayu, i just enjoyed it better :shrug

I dislike all the songs after That Ain't Cool...and 2 before it.

The other songs however are just total <3...which is more than I can say for NEXT LEVEL.

So...in the end the only reason why I picked NEXT LEVEL was because the tracks were...more consistent all the way through. And because Sparkle totally owns everything.

I'll go with NEXT LEVEL.

There are more songs I like on Ayumi's album than Kumi's album. <3

And I especially love Sparkle and Rule.

Ayu wins over any Kuu album, purely cause I dislike Kuu's voice so NEXT LEVEL any day.

I think...both albums have taken each artiste out of their comfort zone but Ayu took it further and it still sounded cool. Kuu has some...restraints for Joyful and the other laid back...THat Ain't Cool to the flames....BBB is...bizarre but quite fun...but NOT something i'll hear everyday

I prefer TRICK over Kingdom while for NEXT LEVEL , it's awesome , a big step up in terms of overall mood/atmosphere & electro's just so hot & in this season <3

Without doubt, i love NEXT LEVEL and i love almost all the songs in TRICK (except for venus, That Ain't Cool and JUST THE WAY YOU ARE)

sorry guys. i never put a 'both' in my polls cuz i don't see the point. the point is to choose between two things, picking both is a cop-out ;)

Ugh, I hated TRICK. I was so mad at Kuu. She can do so much better. Seriously, I was really upset with that album. TABOO was the only song that really stood out. I could stomach Show Girl and Bling Bling Bling for a few plays, but that is it. Don't get me started on how much I disliked this album. I really want to like it, but I just can't.

NEXT LEVEL on the other hand is really good. It's refreshing and also better than GUILTY and Secret for me, since I have similar feelings toward them that I have for TRICK. I'm in love with NEXT LEVEL's electro-pop vibe. Only thing I don't like is the fact that it doesn't flow well.

After hearing NEXT LEVEL the whole morning, both albums are equal for me.

I don’t like 5 tracks of 15 from TRICK.
And I don’t like 4 of 14 tracks from NEXT LEVEL.

I really don’t wanna put an album higher right now, I enjoy both.
But it’s okay my vote goes for TRICK because this is an Ayu forum and Kuu need some votes. :D

I was disappointed with Next Level. It just seems like Ayu is selling out and not really caring about releasing awesome music like she did in 2006 with (Miss)Understood. :(

I got bored in two days with NEXT LEVEL which is a bad thing. With TRICK I can listen to it like 6 times in a row if I really wanted because I really adore it a lot more than NEXT LEVEL. Besides I'm more a R&B/Hip Hop person anyway so that's does a big thing too. So my vote goes for TRICK.

Despite i love both albums, but to be honest, i think TRICK is not as attractive and addictive as NEXT LEVEL...although i'm a great fan of Koda Kumi. However, i must admit that both albums are really great !! :D

I :love both albums but in the end I had to bite the bullet and go with TRICK, not because I prefer it to NEXT LEVEL, I had to make a choice and I voted for it on the premise of TABOO, show girl, stay with me, That Ain't Cool and JUST THE WAY YOU ARE.

Next Level, the whole album is enjoyable and I can listen to every song, where as Trick has about two songs that I like.

I honestly cannot pick! Kuu's Trick album was a total disaster for me and I'm a big fan. Ayu's Next Level has more enjoyable songs though and I'm not that much of an Ayu fan.

TRICK is the worst album I yet heard this year, with TABOO being great but the rest being horribly awful. so, though NEXT LEVEL is not nearly on the level of other ayu albums, it takes the cake.

my fave album of kuu is TRICK :heart but NEXT LEVEL is bleh for me =/

^ thats because TRICK got heavy promotion and NEXT LEVEL did not, if both got the same promotion NEXT LEVEL would have beaten TRICK by quite a bit and Kuus salesdrop to TRICK was smaller than Ayus drop to NEXT LEVEL, wasn it?(seen from the previous albums)
+ ayus singles did a better job
And album quality is still an opinion.

Now that a few years have gone by, I've come to actually appreciate "Trick" now. I find the songs I enjoy have much more replay value than any song on "NL".
