Thanks Foxxy for making the first Atari Kousuke thread! Woot!
Ok, so I like his song "Hana", and I think it is very relaxing to listen to. And I also like the song he did for Bleach anime, but I forgot the title already. I didn't really like Koi that much, it was just okay. I'm glad sora ga sora is doing well, I hope the results will be good when the weekly charts are revealed.
And has his release schedule always been somewhat on the slow side? It seems to take a bit of time for him to come out with some new material. I can't wait for a new album, but I think he will release another single (or two) before an album. |
his release schedule always seems pretty steady to me.
its slow if youre like, a kuu fan or something :P but i think we could expect at least one more single before a new album...it seems like kizuna uta wasnt that long ago though.... and yeah koi was kinda...meh...pleasant, but he needs to step it up a bit i think. |
^ oh really? Yeah, I guess it does seem slow if you compare to koda kumi or someone else with a fast release schedule.
And I notice Kizuna Uta (that's his latest album title right?) has an Overseas Version, wow, that's cool. Hope the next album has overseas version as well. Not a lot of artists on Sony Music get an overseas version released, unless the artist or group is popular or well-known, so I'm glad they decided to make an os version. It must mean he has a decent amount of fans outside of Japan, right? And I think he has done promotion for his music in Taiwan or Hong Kong right? I remember seeing some youtube videos of him on some chinese show performing. --------------- I just went on HMV HK, and Sora Ga Sora has an Overseas Version. @_@ I think it is the os version because of the price, and also the release date is much later than the Japan version. http://www.hmv.com.hk/product/japanese.asp?sku=756095 Wow! That is pretty good. But I don't usually buy singles, so I'm not getting it, and I usually wait for albums instead. |
yeah, he has a good amount of fans outside of japan.
particularly in taiwan. he was in a taiwanese movie called Cape No.7, and Sorezore ni was the theme song. it turned out to be like, ridiculously popular. so he got a big fan boost from that. im just uploading the sora ga sora single. itll be in the download thread soon! |

i know i have...oh, that video has been there since the end of october. so yeah. but its great to repost for all the people who missed it before. yeah the song is decent, but kinda bland. nothing new for him. they even made his plaid bland. |

Wow, this thread has been going so slowly. My post above was almost exactly one year ago.
Anyways, it appears he released a new single on March 9th. The cover is on the main page of his official website. Judging by the cover, I think it's a duet/collab with a woman. Don't really know much details about it, would appreciate any more info on this collab. I'm just wondering if it's a side project or something of his. |
