ALEX from ONE OK ROCK arrested
I don't know how many people know ONE OK ROCK,
but either way, I'm posting this. ALEX, the guitarist from ONE OK ROCK has been arrested for touching/groping a woman's thigh while on the train. Apparently he was drunk at 8am and admitted to this. There was also some information that it was going on for 5 MINUTES before the girl actually had went to call for help. ONE OK ROCK's nationwide tour is now canceled, their upcoming single is postponed and they will not be the theme song for "Godhand Teru" anymore. Tokyograph __________________________________________ It's really becoming a big scandal now huh.. What's worst to me is that they were just becoming more and more popular and I think that them having the theme song for "Godhand Teru" would has boost their popularity a lot. |

i thought he mollested her or something? :P but i was surprised, too, when i first read the news. i don't listen to them, but it's a shame :( will they still be releasing music after this? :shrug

When I heard about it, I was mad, but now I'm disappointed.
Because he even said stuff like "I made a move on her" etc. Nope! Not molested, it really was like thigh rubbing.. lol I just don't get why the girl waited 5 minutes before doing anything. Hopefully, they'll get past all of this crap and start new again. Remember how UVERworld had a scandal too? They went past it, now everything is fine! I just wish it'll be like that for OOK.. :\ |

I doesn't seem like he did that much to deserve all that punishment. And that girl waited too long to respond. It sends the wrong message.

But.. Things are different in Japan then it would be in USA or Canada for example. I understand that touching someone's thigh like that isn't right at all, yet it looks like it's being made into TOO much of a big deal >_< And I hate how all the media is calling him "American born", "American", this, that. maybe it took her 5 minutes to realize who was groping her thigh, so she decided to turn him in for publicity :shrug
either way, how ridiculous. everything was canceled because he was touching her thigh? i'm sure it isn't nice having some random drunk man touching you, but this is being blown out of proportion. i wonder if the rest of the band is pissed at him :innocent |
If the girl had never experienced such a thing, panic might have hindered her from calling the police immediately. I know I would've been paralyzed with fear if a drunk guy were doing that to me.
Then again, I'm not out in public late enough to be around those types of people so... |
i personally wouldn't want to be groped unwillingly by anyone, celebrity or not. considering he was drunk, she might have been scared to get help.. but where does it say it went on for five minutes?

Yup, the girl was out to get to school~ 'cause I typed up a few stuff I read from multiple articles, but only linked to Tokyograph since it's English :x It's Nikkan Sports that said about the 5 minutes btw~ I can't remember which news said this: apparently, the police officer was nearby. And trains in Japan at 8am are very packed! Like little sardines in a can. Being touched accidentally is pretty common, just not groping -_- |
