Her voice is just so beautiful and full of emotion. if you haven't heard of her (which i doubt) listen to her albums Surfacing & Afterglow

But among those, Whitney HAD the best voice (pre-drugs/marriage period), then Mariah (pre-divorce/breakdowns/sexyness) followed by Celine Dion with late 90's ballads (Puor que tu m'Aimes Encore!)... Now there's a void again EDIT: Norah Jones fills that void

I personally think Christina has the most power...because that girl can sing...

but I actually really love Alicia Keys...she actually has a really unique voice, but she can sure hit those notes.

Damn I forgot to vote for Whitney Houston...she was AMAZING back in the day. Like omg amazing.

Mariah used to have THE BEST VOICE EVER from 1990-1997 then somehow she lost it, but it still the BEST!

I don't really care for most of those artists on that list but out of the list I say Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and Celine Dion.

Personally I really like the voices of Vienna Teng, Meiko Kaji, Billie Holiday, ORIGA, Utada Hikaru and Wata.

Mariah may have the best vocal technique, but sometimes her songs come across as only technique because she depends on it to carry the song. You aren't communicating anything to me, darling.
