but i don't know about her new best album, i don't think it can sell like her previous best album

^ As long as it outsells Otoko Uta (around 40k) and HEART&SYMPHONY (around 50k) it will be awesome, sadly I can't really say I am sure she will, as both Flare and PRIMA ROSA sold quite poorly :(

^ I think they may be a little high but we can hope for the best especially since this is to celebrate her 10th Anniversary. I kinda wish they would have the 2nd CD be something like Crossover II instead of covers of her previous songs.

your expectation is logic...but i would love to see if she can sell around 100k for her best album...i think she deserve more for best album...

No she doesen't really have any songs like "SMILES", (and personally I'm happy about that LOL)

As for sales predictions... It's very hard. SHe might surprise us, as even though her recent CD sales aren't exaactly stellar, she has stayed in the spotlight with various projects and many of her former singles have been anime theme songs. I doubt she'll reach 100k though.

The 2nd CD is all covers and besides the two that are still not announced all of those were previously released. I kinda doubt the songs will be re-sung now, it seems that the second disc is simply her BEST of COVERS.

Taiyou no FLare is more similar to Taiyou shin. Shinku reminds me of a mixture of Garnet Moon and Destiny so yeah xD One could also try voice, but it's really hard to find a similar song to Destiny, although Heart & Symphony is full of amazing crossover songs :)

Wow...I might get this best album of hers. I think she's a really under appreciated artist. The tracklist looks great. Viola is my favorite song from her.

Viola is one of my favourite song of hers! But I think I prefer the Crossover Version more than the original version, lol.

Small update:
Shiroi Chou no Samba is the title of one the of the two new covers Hitomi that'll be on the best album. It'll featured on the type A version. The second cover song still isn't known and it's the remaining PV for the DVD (type B).

The new PV is for Nagai Aida, Kiroro was the original performer. Aya Matsuura also did a cover of Nagai Aida. Maybe that's where you heard it? :shrug

Actually, I just figured it out! Cheon Sang Ji Hee The Grace did a Korean cover on their Too Good single called "Your Smile." That's where I know it from. :)

Best & Covers will be getting an overseas version, it's being released 2 days after the Japan version on July 31st.

Ayu also performed nagai aida with kiroro on ayuready. It's beautiful song, I think it's one of the most beautiful japanese jpop songs ever. Lots of versions have been made since, also a nice one by ayaya.
