Oricon - Artist you'd like to sing at your marriage ceremony
From May 14th to May 20th of 2009, Oricon's own survey panel (Oricon Monitor Research) interviewed a total of 800 people (200 each of both males and females in their teens and twenties) to get the following rankings:

Arashi 10. hamasaki ayumi OK I don't know if this's a good or bad thing but I never really consider her as a wedding singer of sorts but ah well look at Kobukuro & Mr. Children go :O & YAY for ARASHI on the sideline xD |

@ noidea: =/ Every artist has their own ballad songs, Namie's music does have some very nice song for a wedding time(If U have listened enough to her music u will know that, not only her current songs)

I don't know for Kobukuro honestly @_@ , I think Tsubomi can be considered ? ARASHI - Oh they can sing One Love to me anytime of the day xD xD . I always remember the scenes from Hana Yori Dango final when it was played at the ending credits of the movie :heart & their live performance & the PV is just :smitten :smitten sad that there's no chance of me to see a Domoyoji Jr :weep |

I haven't ever thought of Ayu singing in my wedding. Personally I'd think that Namie would fit perfectly. CAN YOU CELEBRATE? is a wedding song imo. :)

Yay for Ayu, Namie, and ayaka! :clapclap Well...Ayu's songs would do well at a wedding because you don't have to only have ballads. There's the freestyle dances at weddings to upbeat music. Some of Ayu's songs would be so fun to dance and sing along to!

To be honest, as much as I absolutely adore and idolize Ayu, I don't think I'd want her to sing there. For a wedding, I think I'd rather have ayaka.

I think it would be awesome to have Ayumi sing at my wedding. I'd want her to sing Surreal for some reason. LOL! I just love that song.
And I'd want Namie Amuro to sing "Come" at my wedding. And if Ayaka was there I'd want her to sing I think its called Mikaduki or Mikazuki or whatever her song is that translates to "Crescent Moon" or "Jewelry Day". Edit: I love the comment above about Boy bands! LOL! |

Ayu has some depressing lyrics, so I don't think I'd have her sing at my wedding.

Uh, hello? Why hasn't anyone mentioned Love? It's the obvious choice for a wedding song. Voyage, also, is a great choice. Who..., of course.
I've always thought Days was a song about unrequited love, about how it can just be as fulfilling as love that is reciprocated. Especially when Ayu sings this part in isolation: "I've known for a long time that you have someone precious/Because it's clear from your smile". It's the only way the next lines about feeling sad make sense and why Ayu would write "I expect nothing special from you/Can I stay loving you forever/Just like this?", so I don't think it would make a good wedding song :P M is about the transience of human relationships. Fated is about the struggle to reconcile the idea of fate with the reality of a failed relationship. And Far Away ends with "a summer without you". Guys, read the lyrics first :) Dearest, even if it sounds melancholy, is as good a wedding song as Voyage, lyrics-wise. Close to You, Carols, Moments, Jewel, or even a less upbeat version of Angel's Song can work, too. |

I don't think Ayu would make a good wedding singer. A wedding day is suppose to be about the couple and I think Ayu would redirect that attention onto herself.
