Band's Bio

Formed in April 2007 , BREAKERZ is a J-rock trio that is made up of 3 gorgeous & extremely talented guys : frontman vocalist DAIGO & guitarists AKIHIDE and SHINPEI .

BREAKERZ started off as DAIGO and SHINPEI's project . Meeting through a mutual friend and various recording sessions , they worked together to make a demo . DAIGO is in charge of music and lyrics while SHINPEI is in charge of arrangements .

In the span of 1 month , they created 40 songs . Later on , they are joined by DAIGO's longtime friend who has worked many times with him in his band , songwriting , playing guitar and singing chorus . That is AKIHIDE & the 3 of them joined together to form BREAKERZ .

Their music can't be described in just one word . It's a fusion of AKIHIDE's UK rock sound and SHINPEI's American rock sound with DAIGO's sexy voice . Their historic debut is on 6 June 2007 with their first single WAKE UP MY SOUL / THE TRAIN's GONE ... became available on iTunes Japan .

BREAKERZ is signed by ZAIN Records , a member of the Being Giza Group .

The trio made their major debut with their self-titled debut album on July 25th . Their first live was at SHIBUYA BOXX on August 5th . BREAKERZ doesn't have a bassist nor a drummer , so they use various support members for recording and lives .

This's the success of 3 wonderful hot guys in their 30's (!!!!) & they have definitely come a long way since the beginning of their formation :heart

They might be in their 30's but they're kids at heart at the end of the day :laugh

all 3 of them love each other , well probably way too much as evident to the gazillion fanservice rabu rabu moments between them . Oh guys will be guys what can I say ?

Nicknamed DAI-chan by my french friend Nat , this's 1 HOT & I stress the word HOT frontman ! Can you believe he's 31 ?!?!?!

Well , other than that being hot , he's boyish , charming , handsome , cute & somewhat baka :lmfao :bchuck .

Despite his somewhat serious & stoned face , he's actually a very funny person & I will not be surprised if he's the one that came up with the cheesy dance moves going on for Crystal Night , BAMBINO ~Bambino~ & LOVE FIGHTER ~Koi no Battle~ xD

He sure does love to dance a lot (well at least he tried LOL) for all 3 songs during their live performances too hahaha

His speaking voice is surprisingly low as compared to his singing voice hmmm

DAIGO also causes girls's hearts to go !!! all the time especially when he updates his blog on a regular basis .

He receives something like close to 500-1,500+ comments replies for every blog entry he post without fail D: & you never know what random stuff he can blog about .

From line spacing to not wearing pants (!!!) to his handphone battery running flat to posting a pic of his socks (???) , really anything goes in DAIGO's own little world haha

DAIGO loves performing tons of fanservices to the other 2 live on stage , especially with AKIHIDE 8D & he knows how to put up a great show everytime without fail .

Together with AKIHIDE , he 'raped' & 'stripped' SHINPEI in the dancing moves clip segments of BAMBINO ~Bambino~ & LOVE FIGHTER ~Koi no Battle~ , towards the (almost) conclusion of the clips X______X ugh guys will be guys xD

His late maternal grandpa was the former prime minister of Japan ie. Noboru Takeshita & he has an older sister whose name's Eiki Eiki & she's a mangaka (comic artist/cartoonist) .

DAIGO received a new MC corner in the show Waratte Iitomo hosted by MUSIC STATION's Tamori & so far , he has came up with 6 crazy whack 'bands'/songs during his spare time & they're hilarious :laugh :roflmao

He supposedly was only given 1 week to write & composed each song too xD

Known as Aki , he's said to be the oldest in the group (you're kidding me ?!?!) & also he's the shortest in the trio LOL just look at any of the group pics & you know why so xD .

Aside from that , he's a very talented & mysterious person & I feel that his songwriting & compositions are fantastic like seriously :heart

a guitarist who plays delicate pitch sounds and shows unique performances on stages :) & is always at the receiving end of fanservice moments from DAIGO X_____X I'm not complaining , I want somemore LMAO

it's funny that a lot of guys like kissing him onstage o_O , be it on his cheek or full on the lips :dead2 I wouldn't blame them since Aki has a cute face if you look at it haha

In Aki's past band project ie. NEVER LAND that was a trio which disbanded some 3 years ago , other than being the guitarist , he was the lead singer of the group & he wrote/composed everything .

He even drew/designed the album cover art for their only proper release mini album Beautiful Days & frankly he's a pretty good singer .

You can see (or should I say hear ?) how much he has evolved from his NEVER LAND writing/composing days from then til now & I really hope he can sing again & maybe even do a BREAKERZ no. 1 day

yes they released 3 albums & 1 mini album so far , with BIG BANG ! being their latest one

after Ao no Mirai EP , they started to release singles in physical CD format

my advise to you's that if you want to listen to their 1st 2 albums & their mini album , do it if you're ok with the idea of listening to an album without any singles except for BIG BANG ! which contained their 1st 3 singles

because their 1st 2 albums & Ao no Mirai have no singles at all but they made PVs for certain songs in these records

so at the end of the day , it's up to you really

omg I love everything about it :weep . The strings , orchestra feeling & the ending is just PERFECT with a capital P *____*

Hikari is good. I particularly love the instrumental part! The pv is quite random unfortunately! The end of the song give me the envy of singing. La La La LA LA^^

So it's a nice song but not as good as Bambino^^

It'll be good to have the translation of the lyrics^^

I think the PV more or less emphasised the song quite well to a certain extent

If I compare it with Sekai wa Odoru, I prefer Sekai... Maybe because the voice of DAIGO is a bit higher than the instrumental. In Hikari, I find the instru is amazing but the vocal part is a bit random.

if you look backed at photos of the trio from their debut 2 years ago til now , you realised they looked :dead2 :no initally (especially SHINPEI with really long icky hair @_@ & thank goodness he cut it since then)

Faraway so Close - the 1st part reminded me of the guitar riffs of the beg for both NO SEX NO LIFE & WAKE UP MY SOUL . Having said that , this's a grower but at least it's a perfect contrast against the ballad Hikari . AKIHIDE once again worked it in here since he wrote & composed it :smitten

B.R.Z ~Ashita e no Kakehashi~ (~Bridge For Tomorrow~) Acoustic Version - it's very erm jazzy which surprises me o_O , with the trumpets & percussion going on as compared to the original which's plain loud haha :laugh

but still this's very neat & cool

I feel this's another great single that the trio has delivered & I can't wait to get my single locally soon :luv2

I like it so much this single, the acoustic music surprised me too. It's very summer version, i thought ^^. Overall the single is very good ;D... I'm very addicted to Hikari *-*!! I hope then don't fall of top 10 ^^, 5 spot works for me ;P

frankly I was shocked when I 1st heard the acoustic version of B.R.Z ~Ashita e no Kakehashi~ because I was like eh , why's so jazzy inspired haha

but at least when you compare that against their other 2 acoustic tunes , it's different & doesn't sound the same like 1 another

Yeah when i first listened to the acoustic version I was like " WTH? O_O! ", is really shocking comparing with their previews works also with the others single tracks ^^. At the end I like but I prefer the other ones XD~.
