If you have any new appearances / magazine news, feel free to post it here. I will be updating from now until whenever. BTW, without being able to quote immel's old post, this is a lot of work. There may be a lot of differences because of this, but this is a neat way to compile all of the Ayu "news" without having to dig through everything. Please refrain from random chatter.

Sunrise has "Dandy Daddy?" and MUSICO while Sunset has Lumix and music.jp. RIMMEL is probably for the next single, or won't feature an ayu song at all. |

ha I just saw the Sunrise MUSICO.jp CM on asashi TV, 1 minute after another MUSICO.jp CM with another song. I am not even sure if that should be called a tie-in, as it's kinda not exclusive.

So Ayu's CDTV perf has just ended. The vocals were outstanding, she started off singing alone on the stage and just before the chorus the male dancers jumped in wit the ugly microphones. She had the light blue costume we saw before. The only screen shot I was able to take:

Just finished watching cdtv performance. Ayu looks happy and cute and the blue looks nice on ayu...the big head mics on the dancers is lol...look like toys XD

I just watched the CDTV performance and I really liked it! Ayu's vocals were really good imo and I loved her hair. Her outfit reminded me of the May/June pic's outfit from this year's calendar. Anyway, great performance. :)

Anthony, I'm really glad that you have kept this project going long after I left AHS :).
Maybe it could be a nice idea to add links to 2006 and 2007 as well, from the old thread 2006 2007. Sucks that I stopped halfway through 2007, though. I hope all the work with keeping this going isn't too tiring :D. |

hi, for the month of nov 09, is she making any performances? looks like it's her quiet time before the nd of the yr countodwn live. nov could be a time where i can visit tokyo but looks like her AT09 is well over

Oricon Style usually doesn't have a specific topic to cover for her. Last time she was featured, it was because she hit 20 million [or was it 25?] singles with BLUE BIRD. |

It looks the like contents of the Oricon*Style thing is a lot of artists talking about their 30th anniversary, but it seems like the artists on the right-hand side get to say a lot more than some of the other artists featured.

^ Probably just speculation on their part at this point since she always does those. FNS at least has a preliminary guest list out, but Music Station nothing so far. Super Live this year will be on Christmas btw. :)

Yeah, FNS is quite sure ^^ I think Kuu's appearance was announced or something... don't sure... We can aslo think of Kouhaku as always... and sure she will be in the programs she goes usually HEY, CDTV, MS... I really hope she'll promoto both songs!! IMO we can expect a lot of TV performances... usually she does a lot for ballads in winter (remember JEWEL/Tw.../Days for ex.)

Last year, Ayu's promotional schedule for Days/GREEN was posted on November 30th [a little over two weeks before the single's release] so she'll probably end up doing the same again this year. Way to cut it close to FNS though since it was airing only a few days later...

I am really afraid she ight not attend FNS, I mean: It's quite early to sing one of the new songs, isn't it? And I definitly don't want her to perform Sunset(she could perform curtain call...)

^ Well given that she is doing CDL rehearsals and I'm sure at least one of the new songs will be in CDL - she probably has at least rehearsed it by now. FNS is pretty early this year though. Usually its around the 7th I think. And now also that they have moved the single back 2 weeks, it makes the performance quite early.
If she isn't on it, it will be the first time since Love Appears. |
well, FNS was on the 3rd last year if I recall correctly, but yeah, its early, the single got postponed, so I really am afraid her possibly tenth FNS anniversary might be without her

The 4th update to the FNS list has taken place: Ayaka (It's taking forever for her to retire, haha. Kohaku will probably be her last) and Love Psychadelico. It says a few more will be added on the 25th. So cross your fingers.

I wonder if she will be the 1st to perform again... Hopefully she will at least be the 2nd-6th (and still reach to yoyogi in a good time before she starts the CDL), so the rating during her time can be at least slightly higher. =P |
VTR appearance = a video is played during the show that has Ayu in it, usually a past appearance no the show or something.
Usually when she does Kouhaku, she's in the first round of performers of the second half of the whole show, as last year was an exception since CDL was starting about an hour earlier than usual. |

Probably this year's CDL will be shorter then since it's not PREMIUM. T_T I wouldn't mind for a PREMIUM 2 though. Btw why ayu still holds the CDL at yoyogi? As it seems they do everything they can that as much people as they can will be able to get a sit (since there are more people who want tickets then the amount of sits), so why keep holding it in this venue? She should perform at a bigger one. |
