So, has anyone else heard about her new single "3"? It comes out on the 29, from what I hear.

I'm not even a fan of Britney but her Circus Tour (from what few vids I saw) was stunning, especially the stage and everything.

I personally can't wait for the singles collection. it comes out the day before my birthday. If I'm lucky, I can get the limited edition that comes with every single single to date (including 3) in individual slip cases of original artwork, and the dvd that contains every single music video.

That would be such a beautiful birthday present. $_$ but I'm broke.... ;_;

^I'm only getting it if I can get the deluxe edition. I'm just gonna save up for it. I have time. I just hope that there are enough copies in the store. Although, I had that same worry with Circus, but there were plenty of the deluxe editions.

maybe tracklistings are different in different countries. Some singles were only released in japan. hm...and lucky was one of my favorite songs by her. I played that song over and over when I first bought the album. hehe.

I feel bad saying that I haven't heard all her songs. I mean I've heard all her album songs, but she has so many demos, and unreleased songs, and side/promotional songs, etc. I just haven't heard them all. like mona lisa, and someday I will understand. I didn't even know what "and then we kiss" was till I bought the ddr game and the remix of it was on there.

I hope this single collection will help me keep up to date with her. :D

Britney, Circus, Blackout and In The Zone had really great album tracks. I'm not too crazy about the album tacks from her first two albums, however I do love the single tracks.

Oops is her best album in my generation. Most of the songs are catchy and her voice's so amazing in that album. BTW I think her best voices were in her debut album (Baby One More Time).

My favorite album is probably BO Britney, or In The Zone. So cool. I have her albums up till blackout. used to get them for birthdays, but not anymroe.

I think Baby One More Time is her best album, vocally too. I think after that album, it was less about her voice, and more about the image. But, I still love her voice. Her "Oh Baby, Baby"s in If You Seek Amy are so sexy. No one can sing it like her.

All things considered I think "3" is very bad.

yeah, since she hardly ever sings live, you have to rely on her outfits + dancing to entertain you, and i think her earlier tours were entertaining because of that.. but the circus tour (from watching clips of it on youtube) looks like she barely dances at all, and when she does there is little energy and really simple moves. some of the circus outfits looked really unflattering too :/ i hope she'll get her energy back and dance more.

Anyway, I don't get why people post their negative opinions of singers in their threads. It's one thing to say "I like them, but...", but to come in and say "I'm not a fan, and I can't take her seriously" is rather uncalled for. This is thread if for people who are her fans. Brit does have talent, look at her older works, stage preformances etc. I remember watching this show, where they followed her around and while she was getting her hair done she was singing along to a Pink song, and sounded great. Yes, now she isn't near as good as she was, but she's been thought a lot and I respect her for still making music, even though half the world makes fun of her.

wow. I think 3 is amazing. I've had it on repeat for a while. my favorite part is the prechorus. I think it sounds so much cooler than the chorus. The only thing that annoys me is the final chorus. The bridge leading up to it is soooo awesome. and has a really good climaxing feel. then we get the chorus which sounds just like the rest of them. I only think the final chorus is a letdown. In a way, I kind of with the last chorus was rearranged to follow through with the climax of the song. other than that, I think it's awesome.

I think the cover is cool for the boxset. I'd love to buy it. Also to this day, my favorite cover is still everytime. It looks like a deleted scene from ayu's "forgiveness" pv or something. It looks so cool. That's another letdown with britney, she always has the worst single covers. but not like it really matters since they don't sell them in america and no one ever sees them...

I saw on Britney's twitter today that "3" is #1 on the Billboard Hot 100! I'm kinda neutral towards the song.

I love the Single Collection cover, despite the three belly ring photos. I want it for X-Mas. Last year I got Circus as a X-Mas present, this year I'll (hopefully!) get the Single Collection.

as a side note: damn. everytime I see the seek amy cover all i can think of is ayu's "vogue" single cover.

yeah but not everyone uses itunes. I sure as hell don't. don't have a credit card, and its slow as hell. Commercials are way more widespread. more people see them than itunes. (especially since the commercial comes up and you watch it whether yu like britney or not as compared to going to itunes and looking specifically for her singles yourself)

More people would see a commercial for her singles if America sold them (in stores). That's why not many people know what they look like. I didn't realize till this box set with all the pictures of the singles that all of them are so bland looking. :/

According to her record label Jive, the singer is working towards a May release for her seventh studio album.

US songwriter Sean Garrett recently confirmed that he is penning material for the new record.

anyway, I had just back from her sydney tour 3rd night. it was awesome but totally sucks while she was lipsync and almost no contact with fans,. she just dance and dance. she had little speech before she sang everytime and the end of the concert she just said thank you sydney, thank you and then went out.

I just came home from the Melbourne show and I must say it was disappointing, I thought the show would makeup for the lipsyncing, but not really, it just felt really flat and she was so disconnected from the audience. D: She also didn't open with the ring leader outfit. T___T

I would like to think that it's due to the general fact that americans are not into best collection, unlike the japanese. Madonna's celebration is an excellent example. Even with 2 editions and new songs, the album tanked. :( 3 is a hit in the US but that does not even translate into high sales for britney. :headache

So, did anyone see that Britney: For the Record doc? I don't know how old it is, I think it is somewhat old, but I just saw it fully. It was a really nice watch. Interesting to see how she describes her life. I think that it's two times now that she has described her life as "Groundhog Day".

Rock Me In :heart Well I must say that Circus is an enjoyable pop album, it's just that becomes a little bad at the end. It's better than Blackout, that's for sure.
