man, namie's been on a roll lately. 60s70s80s, rock u, wild/dr. now my love/copy that. I just fall in love with her more and more. Well...Dr. wasn't great...but still. I haven't been happy with utada/kumi/ayu lately, but namie. She never fails to let me down. ♥

I can't wait for this album either.

I find it kinda of funny how people are enamored with 60s70s80s and it's the best blah blah blah, I'm enamored with it too, but I believe what started the 2nd Amura Boom was Baby Don't Cry, released right before PLAY, and it broke records for herself being her best selling single in years before 60s70s80s came around, and the charting position. She really hit new heights with the release of Baby Don't Cry. Can't wait for the new album, hope we get a confirmed title soon!!

I do like the sound of the two new songs. WILD and Dr. were refreshing but they both were kinda missing something for me. Not really something that I'd go "yeah I wanna listen to WILD / Dr." but these songs sound like good J-Pop songs. I think I prefer My Love.

P.S. When the F is Ayu gonna put out something groundbreaking again? Lol.

P.S. also, I really want to know... hip-hop and hip-pop aren't the same thing right? My friend told me that I'm crazy when I said that Namie is like a mix artist of pop, rnb and hip-hop. He said that genre doesn't exist, but whatever he's an idiot. So does this genre really exist?

Pretty much any "hip-hop" music on the radio is pop music, genres are usually fuzions.

^Yes! i agree. It's very unique imo. For me, Hip-Hop has that...attitude and more often a rap, but Namie's doesn't yet...her songs like Put Em' Up etc had SOME attitude going on but...it's still pop

Really? because the parts in Dr. are pretty simple. There's like 3 parts and they repeat twice...but I think the parts within themselves are different than what she usually does, which really changes the song, and what type of song it is...

I kinda agree with CoriKaru, these songs seem like typical Namie songs, but I think that's okay.

I don't really know how well I'll personally like them...I'm needing more than the CM atm...
