Apparently, a LOT of people were screaming during "Curtain call", and the mixi members who talked about it kept quiet, because it's a ballad.
She didn't sing Present, nor did they sing "Happy Birthday" to Ayu again. I think the video of those were shown, but I'm not too sure. The people who went to the past two shows were discussing how great she sounded and how great the show was, though =D |
^ I thought "Present" would be fixed in the setlist :(

@ identity - That pic could be from one of the new shows, but the outfit is the same as from the first leg, heh. Same crazy wig and all...
In all honesty, I know some people dislike the wig and some of the outfits, but you forget about it when watching the performances, esp. in the ballads section. Like with the pic identity posted, in rollin', you're actually dancing half the time (or trying to learn the dance they're doing), and then in Sparkle, you're getting told by Ayu to keep singing "NO NO NO" hahaha. I just can't wait to watch the concert again (or at least see clips). Goodness knows I want to go back to the final shows, but I'm thankful I already went to the last two Tokyo shows in June =) |
Yep ayu looks fierce in rollin', Sparkle outfit, like a club glitzer.
That wig grew on me, as long as it's only in those kind of songs. |

yeah, i think her vocals live for GREEN > her vocals in the song, so i'm excited for that too. i hope there are no songs she "butchers" at AT09 though.. like Dearest @ AT08.

^Other than a few "crowd pumping" songs, she mainly sings current songs, so perhaps her vocals will be stronger. Usually it's her older songs she can't sing very well because of the high notes.
I really can't wait to see SIGNAL though! I love that song! |

@zyoeru - rollin' is AMAZING. I think that'll definitely be a very favorited performance, the way Ayu goofs around stage and the dances and stuff.
I can't think of any butchered performances... I think that's why she took out SURREAL. I personally love that song and was upset that it wasn't included in this years setlist, I can understand why it was taken it. (It hasn't sounded so great live since AT05, but AT07 and AT08's perfs sounded okay. CDL07'08's perf sounded real bad, imo.) Of course, I know people hate the way Ayu sings Boys&Girls (yes, it's more of a cheer than anything, but w/e) so some people will probably call that "butchered", heh. :P |
I think the only song I had trouble with vocals-wise was Dearest at AT08, it was awful, but even though it was awful I think it's very touching in a way because you can tell she's singing with all her heart.
But I've never had a problem with Ladies Night... :shrug |
Ladies Night just doesn't sound good. It's that weird voice manipulation she does. Unlike Fly high where it's just a rap that's for, it's for like, the whole song.

question: Ayu performed Humming 7/4 on 3th and 4th october concerts?
because the setlist that truehappiness posted on the first post doesn't include this song, but I just saw a review from 10/03 concert on ayuchina, and it mentions Humming 7/4 as part of the setlist (in the encore obviously) so I don't know.. does anyone know about it? |

Last year's tour was longer, though this year's tour has more dates. Last year's tour was 6 months long (April-June, Septemer-November), while this year's tour was only 5 months long (April-July, October).
With Ayu really focusing on touring these past couple of years, I really wonder how next year's tour will be. =D |

The pictures of them together are basically the same ones that have been posted throughout the tour - during a few songs, they're dancing together. During the MC, they're always teamed up. True, they're together A LOT, but they seem to get along really well, and they do work well together.

The dress actually looks a lot better up close... I know when I first saw pics of them back in April, I went, "OH GAWD THOSE ARE HORRENDOUS!" They're really sparkly, heh. Plus, you really don't care about them when you're watching the performances ;)

I can live with the pink one, but the white one is really bad. Almost as bad as the AT06 Pride dress. It doesn't help she's sweating like crazy too, it looks so uncomfortable, which it probably is.
