anyway I wanted to post this in the previous thread but because it was locked early & I had to let you about it on Twitter :S ANYHOO ... V6 to release GUILTY in Korea Japanese boy band V6 is set to release their new single in Korea next week, according to a press release by SM Entertainment on Friday. The group's 36th single "Guilty", which hit No. 1 on the Oricon weekly chart, will be released on CD and DVD on October 14, explained SM. The CD includes a poster and special booklet containing hand-written letters from the members in Korean. The DVD will show a live performance by two-subunits of the group; 20th Century -- made up of the three eldest members -- performing an acoustic version of the song "Startline" and Coming Century -- of the youngest three -- singing "Hello-Goodbye". V6, who debuted in 1995 with "Music for the People", has released numerous singles and albums while also appearing on TV dramas, plays and musicals. The six-member group is set to give their first concert in Korea on November 14 and 15 at Seoul Olympic Park's Olympic Hall. i guess it's V6's first time to release their material in Korea, since i don't think i've seen YesAsia list Korean versions of their material. but it's cool that they are going to! i think Arashi & KAT-TUN are the only other ones that release stuff in Korea. |

i honestly don't mind who debuts next...however, i do think it's important for the new group to be a "KAT-TUN and/or KANJANI8" and not a "NEWS". a group with sass and a set style. |

AWESOME. i thought JE CDL last year just wasn't the same without the KinKi Kids. Tackey better be there also since he wasn't at Tokyo Dome either...he was with the Juniors at Imperial Theater. i think because he had his musical around the time of JE CDL.

It seems the only way for fans to see Tsubasa these days is to see him live at either a play or musical. His tour will run from mid-November to late December. V6's Hiroshi Nagano causes car accident Hiroshi Nagano (37), a member of the group V6, caused a rear-end collision earlier this week. On Monday evening, Nagano was driving on one of the Saitama routes of the Shuto Expressway. He collided with the back of a car that was stopped due to traffic. The car's driver, a 62-year-old female, fortunately suffered no injuries. I saw the news here first that Koichi announced on his concert that KinKi Kids will return to Tokyo Dome for New Years. By chance I went on Johnny's net today and found the tourdates. Those include 4 stops, all together they'll have 10 concerts. Swan Song , I probably can say that it's like a Glass no Shounen part 2 since both songs , the styles's almost simliar except Swan Song has that cool subtle orchestra feeling which's nice

Domoto Koichi's schedule for his Endless Shock butai is up for 2010. It will be split in two, the first run being in February and March while the second run will be in July. It will all take place in the same venue in Tokyo. It does make me wonder what happens if Kinki Kids ever gets through the full alphabet for their albums. His co-star is Takeuchi Yoko and the film is titled Boku to Tsuma no 1778 Monotagari, which simply translates to 1778 Stories of Me and My Wife. The film is based off a true story about a sci-fi author who writes a short story everyday for his wife, who is dying from cancer, after taking a doctor's advice that laughter can help the immune system. Johnny’s big athletic festival took place every autumn since 1990 to 2004. This is back after 5 years. This will be fought Eastern team vs western team. Koichi Domoto (30) of Kinki Kids as captain of western team and Hiroki Uchi (23) and other participates. Kazuya Kamenashi (23) of Kat-tun as captain of eastern team, and Junnosuke Taguchi and other participate. Koichi says “I‘m nervous if I can do baseball movement. I want to do my best not to make trouble.” Kamenashi says “It’s been long time we play baseball together so. I want to effervesce. I will come in to my own!” Relay and mini concert will talk place too.

each album has its own theme, so it will be very hard to tell. :laugh
H Album had a very nature-feel to it. but they are one of few acts where i like their album tracks as much as their single tracks. ever since G Album, i haven't been disappointed (F Album was kinda boring, LOL). they really do a variety of styles. rock, ballads, R&B, dance, pop, etc. but i'm sure there will be solo tracks. :P |

i haven't properly listened to A-D, so idk about those but i'm pretty sure every album's had solo tracks. G Album had 4 (2 each). but the last few only had 1 solo from each.

yeah, the whole album was a Swan Song/Yakusoku feel to it. which i'm guessing is the theme to the album. :P
it is a let-down after the marvelous "Phi" album. and we had to wait a while since that too. :( oh well, even when they're "bad", KinKi Kids are still light-years better than their peers, imho. |
oh yeah I had that Swan Song / Yakusoku vibe too when I listened to J album & I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same group of people who wrote/composed the album tracks just like what they did for both Swan Song & Yakusoku

OMG. excuse my random-ness, but this talk show (the jay lenno show) i'm watching now is showing a clip of SMAPxSMAP! you know, their food show? they actually showed the guys! quentin tarantino (the director) is on this talk show, so he spoke about the time he was with brad pitt on SMAP's show, so they showed a clip of all of them. i screamed a bit when i heard him mention SMAP, haha. :tipsy i'm surpised johnny's allowed them to air this clip. i just saw 2 of the guys, though, but i dunno their names :P they also mentioned how popular they were and stuff. it's just so funny, lol. ^ ...oddly enough i've watched that episode of Bistro SMAP!! Brad Pitt & Quentin Tarantino were hilarious in it! and Katori Shingo cosplayed Brad Pitt from Inglorious Basterds. :laugh i think Shingo/Kusanagi's team won over KimuTaku/Goro....if i remember the pairings.

SMAP is going to perform several pieces of music of Michael Jackson, the king of POP died suddenly in June 2009, on The 60th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen/第６０回ＮＨＫ紅白歌合戦. As known, SMAP members met and performed with Michael Jackson on the program 'SMAP X SMAP' of June 5th, 2006.
Nakai Masahiro, the leader of the group, was invited as the only Japanese to attend the world premiere ceremony of the posthumous film 'Michael Jackson THIS IS IT' held in Los Angeles, USA in October. ...i don't know how i feel about SMAP covering MJ. i mean, i'm happy & all, but i much rather have TOKIO or even Arashi lipsynch MJ since SMAP's vocals are you know, horrendous. LOL. you know it's true! (or maybe other good vocalists there like ayaka can sing...) but i'm sure they'll have a fun time with it. they are huge fans afterall. :)

Ikuta Toma & Uchi Hiroki were special guests (...again, LOL) at JE CDL. Kondo Masahiko & one of Shounentai were there also.
PROS: TAKKITSUBA!! :heart i literally like. screamed a bit. cuz i was like, "OH TSUBASA'S AT TOKYO DOME, WTF" and then then he popped up at Imperial Theater to join Tackey! & TSUBASA'S LOOKIN' GOOD AGAIN, LAWL. i didn't like his rock get-up and his mini-mullet this year. :irked ...& i need to find V6's "Ai Nanda"! it's a good song. :3 CONS: NO NAGASE x KOICHI NEW YEAR'S KISS. SON, I AM DISAPPOINT. :eyes & i wanted more coverage from K8. LOL. NINJA!EITO = PRETTY AWESOME. and there were some microphone difficulties. it toally ruined Kame's "I DON'T WANNA CRY ALONE~" part. kay, i'm off to watch Kouhaku now. aha. |
i approve of the ninja look for kanjani8. that and their classic eito fighter costumes are just love. :luv2
on a random note, i like how jun was with jin again in a few scenes. just seeing those 2 together makes me laugh :laugh and aiba was cute with junno, too! |

i actually liked SMAP's tribute to MJ. it was nicely made! i loved KimuTaku & Nakai's parts the most. though.......i will admit when KimuTaku first came out, i joked to myself "LOL JIN IS THAT YOU". :laugh i usually associate fedoras w/ Jin. >_>;;

Concerning the Countdown. Why is Tackey always in that theatre? (well the last 2 or 3 CD's anyway) And is doing crazy stage plays with old people? I don't see the appeal and all that flying....Poor Tsubasa was forced to go there, too. And I feel sorry for all those juniors who probably would have preferred to be at the Dome. And I was waiting for him to sing Hikari Hitotsu, but he didn't. :( Ai Kakumei is just so weird. I always feel like laughing when he says "Boy meets Girl" :) What are you guys thinking, will there be more T&T action next year, or is it down to Tackey alone, once again?

i get amusement out of ai kakumei. i just love when tackey sings it or whenever i hear it. i actually didn't love it that much until now. the JE couuntdown made me love tackey again :P he's so cute. i hope he'll have a new single soon. or drama. or album. anything's fine with me :D

^The lyrics for Ai Kakumei are so cheesy. I just have to laugh when I hear him talk in the beginning in that serious voice. Well most Johnnys lyrics are cheesy and a little stupid, *lol*. I think Tackey is really attractive, but he's not working it right. Like with these stage plays. Who wants to see him with some grandma? I just don't get it.

he should have done Mugen no Hane as that features the vocals of his juniors ie. A.B.C.Z & Kis My Ft 2 as I think that's a great song
& Hazuki twittered a while back ago that Kis My Ft 2 is supposedly going to debut this year :thud omg I hope it's true @_@ as it's really long overdue for them to debut ;___ ; & so's other bands like A.B.C.Z ! Kis My Ft 2's a mini version of KAT-TUN & Fujigaya rocks while Senga's just plain girly/silly xD |
it seems to me like Tackey is interested in history...specifically with ancient Japanese history, but he had a stageplay dedicated to his own life's history as well. & he did do Yoshitsune, a taiga (those old historical) j-drama too. i don't really see a problem with it if he's really into that type of stuff. sure, as a fan, i don't relate to it. as long as he's happy. :)
& i don't think those Juniors seem like they were sad that they weren't at Tokyo Dome. Tackey's a really well-respected sempai in the Johnny's Junior realm. i'm sure they were glad to be with him. as for Tackey & Tsubasa, i think solos will be the main focus for a good part of this year. but Tsubasa has said there will be T&T activity, but we just have to wait (more). |

Tackey's voice is more nasally! it kinda reminds me of Domoto Koichi's voice, but...different, i guess. LOL. Tsubasa's voice is much smoother, easier to get into. he's the better singer by far in T&T, imho. anyway, very excited for Tsubasa! :D

i don't think it matters who distributes the CD (the record label), but Johnny's & Associates (their management) controls when the stuff gets released. they usually don't pitch 2 singles (or 2 albums or 2 DVDs) from different groups against each other. they love having their idols getting that #1 spot, LOL.
it will be interesting, i guess. :3 |
