Honestly I don't know which one to choose... Ayu's calendar is simply beautiful. But Kuu's is more interesting (except the dirty one photo). Also I prefer Kuu's calendar cover. So I guess I'll vote later... :(

i chose for Ayu
because it looks more beautiful and colorful :)

as for Kuu.. she looks so different on the 1st row 2nd pic..

I think, the cover of Kuu's calendar looks stunning and gorgeous, but the rest of the pictures are nothing special. I think, Kuu's calendar could have turned out so much better!

Ayu's pics are simple, but gorgeous and she looks very elegant in all of them!

I was going to choose Ayu's because I really like every picture (I can't remember that happening for any calendar I've seen), and because I was so impressed and surprised by the pictures. But then I remember how gorgeous Kuu's is and how much I love the variety (except for the mud/poo picture, lol...). So man....I can't choose!! D:

In terms of the photos, Ayu's calendar is better. In terms of cover, Kumi's all the way. I'd hate to go the "both" option....I pick Ayu

i haven't seen ayu's in HQ and i own KUMI's and i love it so much. the only picture i don't really like is the silly pink dress one w/ the blonde wig. it just doesn't fit in with the rest. her pictures are a lot more artistic and it looks like they put a lot more effort into choosing the backgrounds. it's more interesting to look at for me. i'm going to use them all (except for maybe one) as posters when the months are up.

for those who think KUMI is in a pile of mud or poop i will explain what it's like... it's like she is in a zen garden because you can see the sand and the rings that they rake around the rocks.

I take Kumi's, it's way more artistic. It isn't very consistent, there isn't s theme for her calendar like for Ayu's. I like Ayu's calendar, but her cute and dumb face expression on three of them kills it for me.
I like 3 pics from Ayu's, 4+cover from Kumi's - so Kuu for me.

The theme for Kumi's calender looks oriental to me...? :shrug

And it doesn't look that artistic in my opinion, maybe the one of her on the rock, but even then they didn't make full use of the background. She looks like she's on a pile of poo at first glance. My guess is, she's in some kind of temple or shrine? If she had taken pictures with view more interesting locations - something like this:



Then yeah, I could see the art. But from what I see, it's just her posing in multiple outfits in almost similar backgrounds. No different from Ayu's really...

Neither calenders make me think of four seasons either. So I don't think it's fair to judge them on that. I mean really, how much more boring and predicable would their calenders be if they were limited on representing the seasons of each month. Why don't you just buy a regular calender then and glue their pictures on it xD;.... And I'm not singling you out personally! I just had to get this off my chest lol.

Kuu's. Ayu's is nice and all, but it's kind of plain. If I'm going to be looking at a picture everyday for a month I want it to be interesting.

Ayu's pics are better , imo.

Kuu's pics are taken in a temple in her hometown Kyoto, but there isn't a overall theme. In comparison to Ayu's calendar, Kuu's pics are artistic, that's the only thing I've said (especially the cover and the Zen pic). Ayu is on the safe side with her choice of pics ( setting and theme). Almost everybody likes flowers and bright colours. The only pic that stands out is the one with Ayu in the water. So yeah, that's my opinion.
And I don't comment on your post with the seasons, cause I don't care if they represents the seasons or not. And I didn't see anybody here saying something about seasons either. :shrug

I like Ayu's calendar better. I think Kuu's calendar is ok, but the only pics I really like are the second and the last one. Oh, and the cover looks good, too. But I was really happily surprised when I saw Ayu's calendar pics, they look really gorgeous. I think almost all of them are awesome. I still have to say that Ayu's calendar pics are looking quite alike but Kuu's ones are all different. :P

Ayu's are more colorful and fun to see. Moreover the pictures and the style are the one I've been waiting from Ayu since she released NEXT LEVEL.

Kuu's is artistic and full of ideas, but idk for me there seem to be no emotion.

Yeah, I know it's your opinion; I respect it but I kindly disagree. And people have been mentioning the seasons thing in mostly Ayu's calender thread, but I didn't feel like making the post twice to be honest. :laugh It all came out while I was in here. :P

I didn't know that's where she shot this one. That's cool... And personally, I think Kuu's pictures this time around are mainly artistic, with a hint of oriental theme.... So you're both right! XP (Because whatever I say is right, of course. >.>)

As Corvina, Ayu's is bright and flowery, something that almost anybody could love which is good but there's nothing really to grab you.
Kuu's is very interesting. I love the fact her pics are over the place; not one blends in with the other. The only bad pics are the blonde wig and "elephant poo" (Kuu looks more of a random anime chick than a human being. :no)

Koda Kumi's calendar looks so hot. I would buy that for myself if I wasn't so suspicious about ordering stuff via internet. >.<

I LOVEd both Calendars from Kuu & Ayu last year the same. But this year it would be definitely Kumi, 'cause her calendar is absolutely GORGEOUS! <333 Ayu has some adorable pix too, but some of them are just ok to me.

Kuu's Calender is better for me

Neither of them really fit my interest... they're not amazing but if i had to choose between the two I would definitely go with Ayumi's. she's more natural. I thought of going for Kuu's but... uh... that mud/dirty one she did second row, middle totally took it away for me.

I am not a huge Ayu fan but her 2010 calender appeals to me more. I appreciate her clam, classy and innocent demeanor in her photos. It's that kind of friendly approach I don't mind looking at all year round.

As for Kumi, I enjoyed her previous calenders but not her current one.

it sort of looks like what the Sunrise/Sunset should have been.

This is the first time I'm seeing Kumi's but I prefer her photos of these two.
