*gasp* what's that i see? a real smile? and it's gorgeous! my favorite picture by far.

The one of her with the flower and the one of her in the water are my favorites. :) As I said before, I'm so impressed with this year's calendar! Not that last year's was bad, but I admit they've been rolling downhill for the past year or so... Nonetheless, thank you so much for the scans! :D

i actually love all the pictures so far :P my favorite is the picture with ayumi wearing the same long dress like the cover.

I actually thought it would be as bad as the Sunrise/Sunset ~LiA~ covers but those pictures are soo pretty:yes And she is smiling (*o*)

i don't even want to use the calendar for the whole year, i just want to stick up all of the calendar pics on my wall right away when i get it :laugh

I think it's the most beautiful calendar. She looks so natural!

She looks natural but...more variety please...I am proud of my buy of my Aya Ueto 2010 calendar

They're all pretty, but I'm not too crazy about Boho-style. I really wish that she'd do a season (or even multi-themed)-themed calender VERSES a single-themed calender. But then again, I can't even afford her calenders so its not as if my opinion *really* matters.

If the you were.../BALLAD covers will be anywhere near as good as these pics, we have nothing to worry about :) truly gorgeous!

She usually does do multi-themed/seasonal type calendars, this is only the 2nd time she's done one theme through the whole calendar. :shrug

there's going to be six more photos right? there's only six released so far, and there's twelve months in the year.

Japanese calendars usually have two months on one page with these types of calendars.

Well, this might be the first Ayu calendar I get because I actually am very happy with the photos (although they are a bit too similar). I love the one with the flower over her eye.

I love it. I wish the calender has at least 1 pict for each month so i will be satisfied to buy.\

^I guess they mean since they were all shot in the same place that makes them similar. I don't see anything similar about the pictures at all, except that Ayu is in all of them like you said Jackie.

yea..all the calender pics were taken during She went to Bali for Sunrise/Sunset covers too..
and i don't understand why, Ayu didn't take anything from the Calender shots as the Sunrise/Sunset covers.. those Calender pics are much much better~ of course, not the same poses, but pics with the same themes like those calender pics~

^She wanted to save the best pictures for us to look at all next year. ;) How sweet of her. :P

Oooh yay :) Thanks identity! They are pretty and proves that Kaz can actually do something really nice with Ayu. I was kind of giving up.... but he does make nice photoshoots for Kumi. Anyway I see that the format is a bit different, some calendar's dates are at the side. I'm guessing so there'd be more space for eyecandy :) Mmmm... What I really like is that Ayu looks like a normal person. She has pretty dresses but they seem more like the dressed you'd wear to relax and enjoy your holiday :) Last year's calender was like a magazine shoot... very glamorous so it's nice to see a change like this :)

better then the previous one. not as great as 2002 & 2003, though. oh, why am I complaining, anyway?

most of the calendar is beautiful, but I really HATE 2 of them. The one when she's standing 45 degrees, with the gross flower thing on her head, making a really fugly hair and the expression... and the other one being when she's on the floor, holding the random tropical plant, doing the wtf-face again.

But the others are really beautiful. I love the one in the water, and the one where she's holding a flower and smiling. :heart

Might be that they are similar, but they are also GORGEOUS. You'd have to search the internet for a long time to find pictures as/more beautiful than these.

Well, I hate to be negative, but... I have started to really not like that picture with the pottery and the ginormous hand, lol. >_> The more I see it, the more awkward it looks. :headache Still love the others though! :love

It's not the best, b so much better tan I thought! We still get the fish mouth, but at least her body's acting normal XD I'll definitely buy it!

^There's only one fish mouth, and that's the cover. And you don't even have to look at that one. xD
Actually, I take that back, the cover really isn't fish mouth. So I see no fish mouth poses in there. :shrug

I think different people think of "fish mouth" in different ways. I don't like the stupid-face pucker-lips fish mouth, alot of people don't like the sexy-eyes pucker-lips fish mouth.

i'm at the point where every time i see her open her mouth, it's looking more fish like lol

i like most of the pictures~ except that pottery one...it looks so awkward~

this is what i consider fishlips, 'cause she's forcing it...and it looks dumb...

just having her mouth casually open a little, like in the calendar pics, doesn't bother me at all :no

idk why people call the teeth clenching/showing teeth "fish lip" because that's not what it is at all (unless she's puckering up while doing it). like on the s/s and days/green covers.. those aren't fish lips. they're more like "horny mouth" or smth.

I agree with yuki_unmei. I like when ayu does the sexy-face (like identity mentioned) but I hate it when she tries to look all.... surprised? naive? curious? airheaded? confused? whatever that face is.

I think the term "fish lips" should be done away with cuz people seem to think that open mouth = fishlike when it's not. XD Just showing her teeth? That's a total come-hither face.

Well, I don't like calling it "fish"-anything really. But that's what everyone else calls it, so I guess it just kind of rubbed off on me. xD I don't think she looks horrible in those pictures posted, they are actually kind of cute. But I do know what you mean by when she "forces" her mouth to be a certain way, it turns out looking bad, and well...forced.
I'm just glad these pictures seem to be more relaxed and natural then previous shoots.

But yeah... To me, fish lips are anytime somebody tries to do a cute or sexy open mouth pose, and it just turns out very awkward looking, and sometimes it's flat out ugly. But when done right, "fish lips" are actually just a pout, sexy face, whatever...

^ yep that's what i think of as fishlips too. ayu is funny with it though, she pouts and also opens her eyes wide. every time i see it i laugh

Guess they just figured that people would mainly care about the music, not the cover (heh, they were wrong...;)), so they saved the really good shots for the calendar, which is obviously only about the pictures.
For those who are still sad about S/S.... Would you really rather have the water pic in place of the cover, and then the cover in place of the water pic..? In other words, it could be worse: you could have a giant S/S picture staring at you for two months instead of that gorgeous water one. :)

Ayu looks so harmless in the whole series of photos...
I am getting used to this harmless ayu...
I mean I had a negative feeling towards the calendar when I first saw the cover...but not that much now...

I really like the pictures. Its a very beautiful calendar and I want to get it so badly.It would be my very first Ayu calendar. I would so frame this. The walls in my room often get this hummid feel to them and it would probably get ruined if I dont frame it.

Unfortunatly dont have any money what so ever....

If there is anybody here that is willing to buy 2 calendars and sell one to me when I get more money on Christmas? pm me. lol

Seems like a lot to ask. I hope I can get it on ebay to the very least.

These are all of the photos inside the calendar. It's a lot like the Hawaii one where all the photos were really ~tropical~.

Yea we're not going to be seeing any winter themed pictures from the calendar at least. Maybe in some upcoming photo shoots/the covers? It would be nice to see some.

Yeah I knew the pictures posted were from the calendar, but I was hoping they were only the spring/summer months. XD

^There are usually only 6 pictures in the calendar, 1 picture for every 2 months.

Yes. :laugh I do agree that all the pictures are kinda similar, but.... it's kinda supposed to be, since it has one central theme, lol. >_> So I don't mind. I mean, if this was supposed to be a traditional four seasons calendar with two to four different themes, then that's a different story. But this is just meant to be pretty pictures of your favourite artist on her trip to Bali, hah. :P And...too flowery--what?? D: Nothing can ever be too flowery!! XD

^ I absolutely agree, but let's face it, for some people Ayu will NEVER be good enough. In one photoshoot her face looks "dead", in another the pics contain too many flowers and so on.
Everybody is allowed to have their own opinion, but sometimes people criticise far TOO much!

And about the "flowery" thing...come on, the pics for this calendar were taken in Bali (or was it Hawaii??)!
And who says that calendar pics have a represent a season? Ayu tried something new this year and I like it...but for some people also this is not good enough!! -.-''

^Yeah, her pics this year were shot in Bali, I think it was her '06 Calendar that was shot in Hawaii.

These shoots are really good, actually, they're wayy better than i expected; ayu looks natural, the dresses and the backgrounds are nice, and she doesn't have an over the top pose (and she's similing!!) a definitive improvement :yes :luv2
