You were... has a tie-up with music.jp and a Disney Tinkerbell movie (song will be used in CMs that will start airing in mid-December), and BALLAD has an NHK drama tie-up with Soukyuu no Subaru, adapted from a Japanese novel about the Qing Dynasty in China. Holy crap! I hadn't seen the big version yet.. *_* It makes the picture like 10x more stunning! And that promo picture is nice too~ The background makes it look a little weird though. Where'd it come from?

SCREW THE RELEASE DATE CHANGE!!! I wanted to have the CD-Rip at least mid-way through December so I can enjoy it during the Christmas season. By the time it's released, Xmas will be over! :( I'm so angry right now. Lol. |

The change in release date doesn't bother me. I don't think it will really effect when we get previews and leaks. And it's closer to New Year's! I love having New Ayu stuff right around Christmas/New Year's!

these covers are beautifull but i really think it's kinda similiar to the Together When "cover" so i don't see this as something she hasn't done before.
Still very pretty, i wonder tho why they pushed it back... if its really because of fukuyama-san then shame on you avex. |

the release date change is really annoying. could they really not have invested enough in the promotion to drive sales? do they not have enough faith that she can succeeed? it's just disappointing that they're moving it around and having it released AFTER Christmas. it seems to defeat the purpose of a winter single for me because i associate Christmas with winter more than anything.

NOO!! Why did they have to move the date!? I was hoping my parents could buy this as my christmas present and have it on the 24th! I'm even planning to not listen to a single preview of any of the songs so that I can get into the feeling of them on christmas eve, but alas. :( I hope I can get it as a belated christmas present at least, I really want this single, but I doubt I'd be able to have the money myself.
Not to mention the fact that the sales will prolly go down a bit compared to if it had been released before christmas, making people buy it as christmas presents; the days before christmas are the days when sales are best during the whole year when it comes to these things, after all. Anyway, enough about my criticism, the TINKERBELL MOVIE? :thud Woah, where did That come from? Well, Tinkerbell is a well known Disney figure, so hopefully it will act as good promotion. Though the promo pictures are bit weird; a too white Ayu against a blue background? No, it doesn't appeal all that much to me, but Ayu does look nice. But I guess they have to suffice, with those clothes and the christmas theme in it I think it's hard to make a good picture. The dress should have more colorful details, completely white doesn't fit her, IMO. Especially with the kind-of tanned skin, the dress melts into the background too much. Unnecessarily long post, wooh. I'm veery, VERY excited for this single! :D I hope the songs will be awesome, and a RETAKE VERSION with Different Vocals!? That's amazing, I will love to hear it! :luv2 |
I think that the covers are very pretty, but they seem like typical winder ballad covers. Kinda like Kuu's stay with me, or Kana Nishino's latest release. I love love love the promo pics, though.

It seems like they genuinly put a lot of thought and care into this single. It already seems different from her previous work. I hope the songs (and vocals!) can live to the expectation of two great ballads

the cover is definitely a B&D flashback. at first, that's what i thought it was. i feel like her makeup doesn't make her young enough for all the fluffies in that dress, either. but i'm not complaining, because i think it's absolutely beautiful. |

Come oooon) I feel like buying all three versions just for the cover, it's so effin gorgeous! But I seriously have no idea how to get it this time, I have no way of ordering it anymore. The covers are amazing. Definitely better than "S/S" and "D/G". And like Picaflor 7/4 said it totally reminds me of the "Together when..." cover. Only better :)
About the double week thing I am not too sure about it cause Kuu's "stay with me" was releasesd on Christmas Eve of last year and it still counted on the double week. So I guess there is no way of knowing until it charts. But seeing how Kanjani8's singles are limited I don't think it'll be that much of a threat, unless it's over 100,000 copies. |

The pictures look nice. Certainly her best covers this year at least. I don't see whats "different" about them though like she said in her blog. Also I wish she would stop posing just slightly differently for each version.
And they changed the release date? Where is that info? (AHS keeps crashing for me every 2 seconds) If that is true, then I am extremely disappointed and her single streak lost its last shred of dignity. Now, if she does beat Seiko's record, it will have 0 validity in my eyes. |

unlike some people (or alot of people :laugh) i actually loved every cover since MW. so for me, these are her best covers since NEXT LEVEL (i'm still trying to forget Sunrise's covers :P) i love ayu with darker hair, but i dunno, i kinda like her in blonde better, but they're still very beautiful covers!
