Yeah, but it's written as "Gaga" on her website and official video uploads etc, so I changed it to that when I saw they were using "Gaga".

When Im lazy I type it as Gaga or gaga, if Im not lazy I type it as GaGa but her official website appears as Gaga and her albums appear as GAGA. If someone meets Lady Gaga someday be sure to ask her how it should be.lol. We are going nuts over here.:tired

You're right. It is actually officially Gaga. Her website has it, YouTube, Wikipedia, MySpace, all of 'em.

I write it as Gaga because any other way would annoy me. But honestly, she's everywhere now a-days so her name annoys me period. So I call her Lady G. :P

I still say it's GaGa. That's how I tag it, because yea, she said she took her name from the Queen song "Radio Ga Ga"...so yea.

I use Gaga. First I though it's GaGa like it's in itunes and then I thought it's Gaga like it's in Paparazzi video and single cover. Now I don't really care so I use how it's in wikipedia.

iTunes has it as "GaGa", so that's how I have it tagged and normally how I type it. However, I don't think that the capitalization is a finicky as it is with Japanese artists and songs, as all her official websites have it as "Gaga." :shrug

She has never confirmed it saying "I capitalize it this way", she only said that she got the inspiration from the song. However Radio Ga Ga also has a space in it, which she doesn't use. Also, the song is a title so every separate word has to be capitalized. She doesn't use a space, so it's only one word.

Not clear enough, since all of her official stuff has it as "Gaga". Whatever, I'm agreeing to disagree here.

Yup, just look at the Paparazzi cover. "Lady Gaga". It's hard to tell with everything else though since it's in captials.

Officially I assume it's all three actually. She's artistic, I don't think she has a "real" way of spelling it, but whatever way works best for what she's artistically going for whatever it appears.

Although it's "Haus of GaGa" officially, so that may give some indication on what it really should be

Anyway thanks for this thread! I've been wondering this too. I personally prefer Gaga because GaGa looks kinda ugly. I don't know where everyone got the "this is the official way" thing from, because all her videos, her twitter, her CDs either use Lady Gaga or LADY GAGA. I personally prefer Lady Gaga.

btw, her twitter used to say lAdY gAgA or something to that effect, so I guess that is another alternative.

I usually write GaGa. Or I used to. But seeing it written as "Gaga" now makes me feel GaGa is awkward when before it was the other way around.

I use Lady Gaga because to me it looks nice for some reason, and I'm not entirely sure how it's supposed to be written but on last.fm it's in "Lady Gaga" form so I use that. :D

I like Gaga...that's how I always type it no matter what. When I buy her stuff off of iTunes it tends to put it like GaGa & it drives me nuts :shakehead...sometimes the cds have it like that too.
