I just got back from Tokyo! It's such a wonderful place! I recommand everyone should go there at least once in their life

I went to ayu mom's shop! It's a flower/candle/chocolate store in Hiroo region of Tokyo...unfortunately I didn't see ayu's mom and of course didn't see ayu (which I expected because hey why would ayu and even her mom be at the store? they have staff working for them.....) the staff there spoke a little english and was very friendly.. I bought a box of chocolate (4 pieces for 1300 yen, which is approx $13USD, quite pricy but it's all worth it!)... and I don't even wanna open it..haha..

Here are some pics of the store. The store name is Hanabi. You can see the sign 'Crea Hiroo' on the side of the store:

if you wanna go to ayu mom's store, take the tokyo metro hibiya line and get off at hiroo station....there is a map of the store on the store's website so it's pretty easy to find

here is the map and official website

I also went to karaoke to sing ayu songs! I went to the Big Echo at Shinjuku...just get off Shinjuku JR station west exit... Big Echo has a big red sign with, of course, says Big Echo.... if you sing in the afternoon the cost is 200yen per person per 1/2 hour (the cost in the evening doubles)...they have quite a few ayu songs but not all of them original PV...a lot of them are some random ugly videos...the lyrics all have hiragana so as long as you long the hiragana characters, don't worry about kanji you can sing!

SunshineSlayer 25th January 2010 06:22 AM

Yep, I went there last time too. It's right down the street from my hotel actually. :)

I didn't see Ayu's Mom either, but I did see the guy that she was supposedly dating who had supposedly been Ayu's high school boyfriend.

Lee^ChaN 25th January 2010 06:29 AM

i'll definitely go there if i go to Japan!

tokyoxjapanxfan 28th July 2010 02:24 PM

I didn't necessarily want to create a new thread, but I went to hanaBi the other day and got a few things and thought I'd share some pictures!

3,500 yen.
These are so good! Dark and light chocolate. They look thin, but they're actually really thick! I was surprised.

500 yen.
Raspberry chocolates. Really, really good. I've had the chocolates in the refrigerator so these taste a bit like ice cream! :)

We spent over 3,000 yen so we received a present. The present was chocolates with Ayu's dogs on them. I chose Crea :D

I also received a little soap [Olive & Lavender scent] and got my polaroid taken with my roommate.

It's a really beautiful store!

C+R+E+AYUMI 28th July 2010 02:36 PM

thanks for sharing, when i'll be in Tokyo i'll surely have a look there (but not buying anything, usually it's difficult for me to repackage my luggages LOL)

AngelSenshi 28th July 2010 02:38 PM

^ Ahhh that store is so incredible! The staff and just the way everything works is so great really!

Those chocolates look so yummy! I'm such a chocoholic so I'm dying for them now!!

taskinillusion 29th July 2010 01:49 AM

OMG chocolates with Ayu's dogs on them!! Why am I not surprised... Thanks for sharing!!

RyRyMini 29th July 2010 02:59 AM

That's pretty expensive chocolate, I hope it's good at least!

Ranma Matsuri 29th July 2010 07:20 AM

For $35 that better be the grandaddy's momma of all chocolates and be the best thing I've ever tasted. :laugh That's really neat though, had no idea Ayu's mom had a shop. Just another thing on my Future Japan trip to-do list. :D

gothicayu 29th July 2010 07:56 AM

its quite expensive but i agree those chocolate looks really good and the gift is really cute . i guess all stores in tokyo or near tokyo area have to overchage to survive. rent a better space for her store must cost her more now .

mimika 29th July 2010 05:42 PM

The store is in Hiroo which is a very affluent neighbourhood in Tokyo. It has a lot of embassies and a lot of foreigners living there. I went to Hiroo with some friends and there are a lot of foreigners on the streets, in star bucks, etc. There are doctor clinics with signs saying they can speak english...... we went to that star bucks and it was one of the few star bucks in Japan where the staff had no problem understanding us
