Post YOUR London Experience when you met Ayumi Hamasaki
 

Ok well I guess I’m going to start things off xD.... Since a few people mentioned about starting a new thread about Ayu fan’s in London experience, I figured I will start it off xD and hope everyone else chips in and share their experience, you know who you are! Lol

23rd January 2010!!

Ok well... it was 7am for me when I finally got out the house... I’m actually about 30-40 minutes away from Ayu’s Hotel... So I figured it’ll be best to get to the place early =)... I met up with my friend and we both decided to go look for the hotel, wasn’t hard since my friend had a rough idea where it was. When we got to the entrance of the hotel, I manage to meet Walking.Proud and her friend GiGi. As well as a few people that were from France and then later came a few others, didn’t actually know where they were from but yeah haha... I manage to get along with everyone and me, my friend, Walking.proud (also known to be Laura!) and Gi were talking about when they got here and how long they been waiting for... It surprised me that they actually woke up and got to the Hotel at 6am and waited in the horrible cold. So we stood up, walked around, talked and sat down at times and having laughs about Ayu is most probably at the top laughing at her fans freezing in the cold haha...

A few hours later we saw many of her staffs came out... Probably about 3 black vans full of staffs, though I think all of them were preparing some sort of thing for Ayu later on PV? Photoshoot? Who knows... Everyone stood up and got a little excited, since so many staffs were there maybe Ayu will come out soon too... But after an hour wait we were all in the waiting mood again. Then apparently someone saw the staff’s came back... Most likely they finished they’re preparation and went back to the hotel for some lunch. This was around 11am at the time I’m guessing...

During this whole wait we had people asking us “who are you waiting for?” “Is there someone famous in there” We all replied and they just gave us one of those “ohhh” faces AKA don’t know but ok kind of reaction haha. We had many people giving us funny face expressions and maybe even some finger pointing. Nevertheless it didn’t really matter to us since they weren’t who we were looking for! haha

A few more people started to show up, it ended up from 8 people to around 15 of us all waiting... Someone suggested forming a line so it’ll be easy for Ayu when she comes out to sign our things. We saw Stan-san come in and out the building a few times and we figured any minute now... About 30 more minutes (12:30pm) we finally got to see who we’ve been waiting for =) for some... it was a 6 hours wait.. for others it was 3.. maybe 2 hours wait... but it does not matter, every second you spend seeing Ayumi was worth it.

Ayu came out of the hotel and saw our line and went right into the middle of our line and was like “so what am I signing” lol it was kind of funny haha and also Stan-san mentioned no camera’s as well... Either way Everyone got at least 1 thing signed in their Ayu items, some burst out crying and some were just very shocked. I personally was very shocked, but I manage to keep myself cool as well haha. After I got my CD signed, I manage to get a hand shake with Ayu too... It was a very great experience and probably one of the best experiences ... I’ve never waited for so long just to get something signed. But I also had this thing going round my head that I am actually standing right next to Ayu and I’m actually able to get a handshake as well as an autograph from someone I’ve been idled for so long. I just got to always say to myself that I am one of the luckiest people to ever meet Ayumi Hamasaki, no matter how many times I say it... I know there are some that are fighting their obstacles to get to Ayu and didn’t work and I really hope that someday you’ll be able to meet Ayumi too...

She is no doubt one of the kindest and sweetest person ever, she came out of the hotel with such a natural smile and she was so kind to the people that stood in the cold, like when I read Walking.Proud’s report about Ayu holding her hand and saying “ohh your hands are cold” it must of meant a lot to her. Having said that, it’s so cute when Ayu is so small xD it’s soo kawaii haha... She looks totally different in person too. Make up or none, it’s just... Wow... those are my words.

Sooo lucky.. I'm glad that she signed everyone's albums/singles, she is so kind.. Actually, I didn't think she would have patience :) When I start to work and earn some money, I will meet Ayu if she comes to Europe again!! REALLY! ;)

I got my NEXT LEVEL Encore USB signed! I also asked Ayu to write Happy Birthday for my niece and sign in, and she did. She was so lovely, she was saying "Happy Birthday?" "Is it her birthday today?" I don't remember much else because I burst into tears as soon as I saw her. XD I also gave her a letter (written on her own merchandise) and she said "thank you" really cute and looked happy and shocked when I gave her it!

I won't resay everything, but he missed out all the singing we did, we got pointed at lot by her staff because of it. These are some photos my friend took of what she was wearing, they're not HQ you can make it out! She looked really rockish and soooo beautiful!!

Only reason i would suggest Saturday is because Cronopl said that ayu told him she'll stay for 10 days. and when Crono told us this, it was the 21th of Jan. and 10 days from then would mean the end of January. (same day all this has happened) So yeah.. i suggest saturday would be the best day and night to see her for the last time for sure. Maybe you could catch her Sunday morning too. But im sure saturday is a for sure :) Im hoping so anyways *fingers crossed*

Well... mmm today it was a bitterwheet day..

first of all I have to say to you all that AYU IS LEAVING THIS FRIDAY!!! Stan said us that they will leave on Friday.. maybe saturday if the shot (of a PV I supose) isn't finiseh.. so people.. if you really want to enjoy Ayu wou have to fly there on wednesday... to se her maybe wednesday night, on thursday and sey bye bye on friday... (I don't know if crea-spain said it already...)


So, about today...

We were in front of the hotel at 8... at 10 one guy from ayu staff (we call him the iPhone guy) came and ask us: are you waiting for japanese?. It's like.. XD not for japanese.. for AYU! we said yes, and he showed us her iPhone, sying, ayu can't come now, she has send me a message.

it said: please, if there are fans waiting outside of the hotel, tell them to go and stay in a warm place. If they want to wait maybe I will go out at 12 at noon.

It was in english. I asked him: it's really from Ayu. He said yes... yes I was able to see "Ayu" in the screen. We were so... overwhelmed.. you know.. how whe was worried about us and she was saying at which hour we should go... Before that two uf us went to a flower shop and we bought a bunch of flowers (I will post a picture later) they were pink roses and some other kind of flowers, really cute, it was amazing... we also made a note saying:

It has been great to meet you Ayu! We hope you will come back soon to Europe! Thanks for being how you are!

(and her we 5 put our names and countries... it was curious because no one was from England.. Ayu should think about that maybe XD 3 spain/1 france/1 belgium)


At 12 we were there... at 12:30 Stan-chan came for the first time. He said us that Ayu was a bit ill, and her voice wasn't okey because London is so cold, and that she wasn't going to go out for the moment... that we should go to somewhere and wait if we wanted warm and that she wouldn't go out before 4.. so at 4 or 5 she would come. He asked us if we wanted to give her something so we gave him the bunch of flowers and said him that there was a message.

We came back at 4 and waited... and waited... then Stan came for the second time, he said that they would come out at 6,30-45 to go to the recording studio. cre-spain and the french gilr gave him a letter for ayu. Here it was whene we asked Stan when they were leaving.. he said, as I said, at Friday, but that they are recording and also doing a shot (so or it's the booklet or a PV...) and that if they could not finish it by then they woulg come back on Saturday...

we all were back at 6... we waited and waited... and also like at 12, the staff bans, her driver, and other staff members were out waiting... at 8 the iphone guy came, we already knew what he was gonna say us... she was not going to go out. Only a few minutes after that Stan came for the 3 time... He said us that Ayu was too sick, that she couldn't go to the recording studio and of course couldn't come out and see us. He said that he was sorry because we were waiting for all day... He also said that all the staff was going out and leave her alone resting. I said him to say to ayu to take care and get beeter soon... we said goodbye and that's all...

efectively all the satff was outside going in different directions, they all waved us from the car, also banchou was going with other staff walking and she waved us as well and we said goodbye.

So... we are kind of sad now... My friend and I cancelled our plane for one tomorrow because we were only 4, so it would have been so personal, we wanted to have individual pics with her and speak a little, not signing anything, just let her know what we are writting in all our letters... I'm really tired, we were there from 8 to 8....and I think I got a cold too... of course it's sad and it's dissaponting but I don't regret being there all day.. of course it's not Ayu's nor Stan's fault... we also said him thankyou so much to him, Ayu and all the Staff because they were really kind to us letting us know when we could come and to care about us and say to go to a warm place. Really I feel really thankyou it's like Ayu cares more of us than for herself!!

I'm also sad because she's ill.. and that's a pitty because she has to end recording the album and make the shoot... so she has to feel really bad right now for all the staff that is here waiting for her.. and she's so a good person that she might even feel bad for us waiting outside!! :(


so well... it has been a sad way to end this amazing weekend... But een though I can get good things from today (at least we talked a lot with Stan, Ayu got our flowers and message, sure she knew about us... We also think she was looking at us from the window...) and I've got a lot of things!! authographs, pics, seen her 3 times, talked to her, touched her... I'm even at TA!! my mum called me this morning to tell me XDD) It has been amazing!!...

sooo... nothing more... now I can only say some advices to you all guys...

As Ayu is ill I don't think she will go out tomorrow morning... If you go there normally she gous ut at 11-12 so I wouldn't be there waiting until 9,30-10... before it's kind of useless... but we didn't know so... XD Also maybe se comes back during the afternoon some time around 4... but whe won't be on the hotel until 8 or later if she's doing something.. but before 8 it would be strange... If I were you I would be only at the hotel... you know.. it's 100% sure she willc ome out and come back from the hotel.. while you don't know if she's oing first at the studio or to another place and so...

Also and advice of how to act. They don't like crazy fans that scream and take pics of her all the time.. she feels uncomfortable... of course if you want to do that you can... but if you want them to be kind to you and talk to Ayu you have to be wuite, whe WILL come tou you kidnly, she will sign everything and more you will give her, she will accept everything, and for fotos, before doing anything ask for a pic, and it will be better that make her feel uncomfortable or make Stan get angry with you...

Tha's my advice... also I tell you she will make a group pic if you are few people or only when she's ariving from somewher... if she's coming out fron the hotel she won't stop for a pic, only signing... If you are a lot don't spect her to pay atention and talk a lot... only when we were 4 and yesterday 7 whe was talking... and yesterday she knew perfectly that Crea-spain was new, and that the other saw her already... I'm sure she remembers me and my friend, and also the french fans so she spend more time with crea-spain ^^

mmm nothing more... XDDD I had a kind of only looking-philosophy, I only have pics where I'm with her that other's took... I wanted to see everything and remember every single expressiond and movement and word she did not seeign her through a cam.


So... enjoy Ayu if you are going, I wish you all the luck and hope you will be able to meet ayu as well!!

I hope this thread gave everyone a chance to read a few of our stories and what has happened when we had to stand in the cold as well as waiting for Ayu xD.... It was defiantly worth every second when you get to see her.

It was ashame i didnt get to see Bancho-san though, but even seeing Stan-san that was pretty cool too. And seeing afew of Ayu staffs... Even thats a one in a life time you get to see those guys :).

im in the same boat as you jean-baptiste! i was a fan at the time she was in new york but i was a really new fan and i was only 15 lol so i wish she would come back to the states now that im actually old enough to save up to go see her.

Crea_spain, me and another 2 chinese girls were camping there since 7.30am. We saw Ayu at about 12.45pm and thing happened too quick thus we only able to see her in about few secs. We shouted:"Ayu~~" and she turned back, smile and waving at us XD (melts) Stan-chan told us that they were a bit late and off from scheldule thus no photo or autograph session T__T

We definately will camp there again later until we got her autograph. Stay Tuned~~~ :love

walking.proud, thank you so much for sharing your HQ pictures! I'm the blond dude right to Ayu on the group shot. It was real nice having a small chit-chat with you and your friend and creaspain!

I have to add that this day was so full of emotions. I was in Paris in 2008, got my first autograph back then and was even able to attend Mirrorcle World's PV shooting (the red dress and the white dress parts)...

... but this was really special.
It was indeed so intimate. I could even speak to Ayumi twice... and I can tell you that this is weird! Just imagine you're in front of your favourite singer (I'm a fan since 2000), you're talking to her, and she's looking at you real attentively, right into your eyes. Well, that's kinda awesome dudes!

Also there was this moment after the group photo when she stopped by every fan to shake our hand and say "good night" to each and everyone of us... After this, I can swear we were all wondering whether or not it all really happened, lmao!

If you can make it guys, go for it!

The last time ayu was shooting the lumix pv in Venice i was..1 km far away but I didn't know she was there because it wasn't announced before as the Paris or London stopover.
I wish I could even saw her..how much i regret it >.<

Woah, that coat looks so warm!

I gave my niece (age 10) her Ayu autograph today that said "happy birthday" that I got when I met Ayu in London, she was sooo happy!! I cried when I gave her it because I was so happy to, I hope Ayu could feel some happiness too at that point. It was also from my friend who came with me (in walking.proud's line photo - I'm in the blue and my friend has the panda hat!)

We just met AYU outside of her hotel!!!
We were a lot of ppl there, some had been waiting all day outside, and finally ayu got back from shooting PV at around 10 pm. She was really nice and signed stuff for everyone, but we couldnt take pics. Will go back tomorrow, can't post more right now because i'm in an internet cafe. I'll post pics of my signed stuff later!
