I saw that emiko listened to her a lot so I listened to her to XD I kinda liked her RAINBOW album. Thanks for giving downloads to everything she's released so far. It'll save me time and help me discover more of her music~

This is good news (sort of), it looks like the rental-only album, HOT CHOCOLATE, is being given a limited, mail-order only release:
http://rainbow-voice.com/ The mail-order version is titled HOT CHOCOLATE For You and includes a bonus track ("Need U Tonight") and also appears to be limited to 500 pieces (?). Also interesting to note is the special towel being offered in the "Other Goods" section. |

It looks like she's changed labels again. Her debut mini album was under Babylicious, her album, single, and second mini album were under Sugabee, and this new release is somehow affiliated with Avex. I can't tell if she's actually signed with Avex or if they're just distributing her release because I don't recognize the XNKC catalog number. :shrug |
CM for "Fallin' In Love Again" from Hiromi's new album MAGIC:
"Fallin' In Love Again" will release as a digital single on 2010.12.01; MAGIC will release on 2011.01.12. It looks like Hiromi is still with Sugabee after all and that Avex is only distributing the album for them because the CM is hosted on Sugabee's YouTube channel. It would've been kinda awesome if Hiromi had been signed by Avex. She would've gotten some actual mainstream promo and probably been booked on some music shows. |

The new album is up for download at KMC and JPS~ One of the album PVs~ The collaboration with Emi Hinouchi! omg, dream come true for me...my two favorite R&B singers together. Also, hiromi has a twitter, and, well, I've gotten a few replies here and there, and she seems to be okay with English~ twitter name = hiromisrainbow updating first post with new info~ Oh and other information~ hiromi appeared on Happy Music Show in december and she sang Fallin in Love Again~ PV: and wow! so much sexy hiromi in this album! :laugh |

I love COOK so much, the lyrics are so lol, but it's soo pretty. I dont know for sure who the composer is, but it has nao'ymt written all over it. I'm working on getting up her Happy Music performance...I hope they don't delete it...and I wish it was longer...it's only like 2 minutes...but every time I watch it, I'm just stunned by her voice, it's so incredibly amazing. I bought the album too, it is actually poppier than ever, but I like pop Hiromi too. I dont care. Her voice is just beautiful. Im so glad you wrote an essay on it! I need you is really good, but my favs were obviously Butterflies lol, 似たものどうし, 不意打ちLOVE and また会える. I love the end of the album, the beats are everything, I like how it gets slower. I feel like Reason is empty, as well and I actually liked Honesty. It suits her really well imo. What I really dont like about this release is a cover. Its so plain and she doesnt look as pretty as she can. Magic cover was amazing!!!!! and its not only 'cuz of pink colour lol.

woo finally...first post update. I'm DONE :laugh It took forever! I just, kept messing up...
ANYWAYS. So I thought the album was pleasant. I definitely definitely liked the latter half though, and especially, I think it was the last five songs. I just like that pure R&B sound from her, and then if she mixes it with some traditional "oriental" sounds here and there -yey-. I was so surprised at Butterflies! I totally went into it thinking it was going to be some random sounding pop song. It's one of the better tracks I think. In reference to your review B&D, I actually like a lot that Mikansei doesn't "go anywhere", cause then it's just mellow and relaxing for me. Kind of like how people say Ayu's BRILLANTE doesn't go anywhere, but for me, that's part of it's charm. I'm still on the wall about Honesty and Tell Me. So...um I think I definitely liked a lot less tracks on this album compared to Magic and Rainbow, but at the same time, I think they all show off how well she writes and her vocals which ugh, just kill me in every song. She's fabulous. I'm gonna be working on...uploading her whole discography to my MF...although I think I remember talking to temmy on the first couple of pages saying we couldn't find some of the older digital singles...but, whatever, I'll look around~ |
