I have learnt that anything can happen between 5-8pm in Japan here so...I'll be waiting tonight..HOPEFULLY we get something..if not, it's getting really weird

Secret was fully announced about a month and a week before release, so... whatever happened there will probably happen now.

Unless Avex decides to announce it this weekend (not Thursday or Friday), but I don't think they'll do that. So yeah, next week :( But let's still hope for today :yes Still 3 hours to go in Japan before the day is over :P

already 12am in Japan.. it's saturday... I really hope they will announce iy on monday... it can't last more time imo... Or they could announce it this weekend??? I doubt so... don't know why I think they don't announce this things on weekends

I would be pleasantly surprised if she wrote a TA message on Sunday like this:
"yeah coffee was great... Starbucks! <3 band rehearsal was going great too seriously Peco's a better singer than me! (laughs) oh btw just an F.Y.I my fans, my new album "The Circus" is gonna be released on March 31st OH MY FREAKING GOD I know right!!!" I jest. :P |

Mmm... well they CAN updat einfo late at night... in the 31st December/1st january, I posted on the news thread about the TOUR 2010... they just said it... I posted it at 7:11pm spain time.. that means 3:11am in Japan... And I posted it just when they updated it... it was just after CDL ended... I don't know why they did that XDD

I'm hoping for this weekend. Why would that be out of the realm of possibility? If they did it NEXT weekend... March 5th/6th/7th time frame, wouldn't that be waaaaaaay too late?

I REALLY hope they announce it this weekend. I so do not want to wait another week for this album's announcement. We've been waiting all year already. :grumpy It's just getting ridiculous at this point.

maybe I'll send one saying how excited i'm about her new songs because I loved microphone and don't look back previews and that I can't wait for her new album... that would be encouraging and with less preasure... XDD (for me sending one message is dificult... I'm not sure how they react in front of enlglish messages... I still don't know how it works... ayu receive them all and read some? TA staff do a selection?? do they delate english messages?? in case they do I try to write in japanise... what I know how to say of course... misa translate me this sentence! LOL) |

yeah.. I'm checking TA and they never announced anything on weekends... NEVER for what I can see... only Ayu posts... so... xDDD or Ayu says "hey guys album info is coming in a few days" or now we have to wait until monday/next week...

I just love how when I started the first thread, everyone was like "it's more than likely it will be announced this week so brace yourself" and for some odd reason I just knew that it was going to run it's own course. I just kept thinking "no you're wrong" - Lol. I mean, avex has to know that their activity is a bit odd and that everyone is waiting for the announcement!

This has been a strange case... Ayu tell us she was working on the album at the same time she was rehearsing for CDL, in mid-december... we know an album is coming since mid-december.... almost 2 month and in the last one getting ALL type of info...
I can't remember that hapened with a previous album... With NEXT LEVEL january came and we were like: OMG it will be the first time we have to wait for than a year for an album! (at least for the last years) |
Ayu-mi-x 6 was announced on a monday, if i remember correctly

Will Avex be careful this time?
I mean.. after the low sales of NL they want to do something big to promote it this time. But as others said, if she want to release this album in middle March or early April we should know more like the title :shrug I guess. |

Honestly? I don't understand that all pressure about the new album and those all posts from impatient ppls. I didn't expect any new album before summer. Usually most of artists releasing 3 singles before album comes out and Ayu just released 2nd new single at the end of December. If any new album will be released we'll surely know about it with monthly anticipation. IMO no new album before April.

^ The anticipation is so large due to having heard about it so far in advance. If I hadn't heard "yeah I'm in the studio" "filming new PV" "composing music in my head" "another new PV" "more studio time" "photobook and cover shoots" - then I wouldn't even be thinking about an album release right now. It's just the fact that it's all being dangled in front of our eyes - we can't help but salivate. Lol.

^^ you're actually wrong, because she doesn't plan any new singles, she said she is working on album + promo already began - we have 2 cms with album tracks on air. And Ayu's pattern nowadays is 2 singles and an album

yeah... if we expect an album is not because we took it from the air... until summer? She has a tour to promote it, and she is working since demeber on it!!
and it's what all.night.raves say, they have said us a lot already! working on a new album (even before Yw/b was released!!), oh great songs, oh I'll return to an older sound, oh I'm shooting two PV, Oh I'm doing a photobook and cover in london, Oh I finished one PV yesterday and tomorrow I'm recording another one, oh here you have two CM for two new songs that appear by magic... They have this album almost done, of course we are impatien about it! We know a lot before even knowing the name and date... and if the tour wasn't announced or started later... ok... but we have 2 posible days before the tour, 24th and 31st... less than a month for one and 1 month an some days for the other... it's like they have to start saying something... I think that the day will be 31st... no way it will be for the 24th now.... |

^TA already bought the tickets... no way pushing it back... it would be too much trouble...
no... they MUST have an schedule for all of it: the day to say the release date and name, and when to start giving info... They gave tour info on the 15 of january... so they had to know if they could have the album finished by then... again, I think there's no problem with the album being finished or not... it has to be something with avex marketing or something XD |
If this is a new marketing strategy avex is trying, I have two things to say about that:
1. It's stupid, because they already are aware of plenty of things that work. For example, they did everything perfectly for Namie's album; they've done similar things with other artists that have helped guarantee good sales, too. So, this would be ridiculous; it's like they want Ayumi to fail. (Not saying they do, just that it's so stupid, they should realise something will go wrong.) 2. It's not working. I'm already over this album. I wasn't very hyped up to begin with at first, because the only song I loved was You were... But then Microphone and Don't Look Back, and maybe even the title for Sexy Little Things, got me excited some more. But now we've yet to hear anything else; we don't know anything, really. And it seems like it'll be at least another week before we even have any news, and then another month or two before the album actually comes out. So I don't care at this point. :shrug Honestly, I wouldn't pretty much forgotten about her new album, if not for this thread, lol. But the more all this goes on, the less I'm going to care when it actually comes out...... So yeah. Not working, avex. At all. To maintain a good hype, you actually have to put out new stuff at a steady pace. Not just throw something at us, and then leave us to ponder for one to three months before releasing something else. Not to mention, that "something else" has to actually be fairly big and exciting, not just mention of a PV filming or something. :\ |

Oh man, guys. I hate to laugh at people's pain, but reading the last few pages was kind of amusing. Don't get me wrong, I'm anxious to hear some news too, however I'm not freaking out about it. It'll get announced when it gets announced, and hopefully it'll be somewhat good... mostly because then the number of people that will be *****ing about such a long wait and then a crap album will be limited. ;D

It's quite funny all that people complaining about this thread and how we are anxiously expecting the announcement... no one is asking you to enter this thread, it's clearly said: anticipation/discussion thread, you know what you'll find... I don't know what's the matter on being anxious and discuss about it and all the possibilities of why they haven't announced it yet and why are they doing things the way they are... everyone can have different opinions, think the album will be out in a month or this summer, to be or not to be as excited... but please, don't make fun or laugh about how everyone is excited with it... we are just having fun ¬¬ |

Since we yet have no idea the album title is (even though there are Arena tour title out, it does not exactly reflect to album title at all..), I have a hope that the album title is different from Arena Tour totally..
