So far only teddy bear has made me cry once because I was reeeallly sad when I listened to hahah
BALLAD PV has brought me close to tears~

EDIT: The only other close thing I can think of is Days and its PV, it gives me this strange feeling inside but it doesnt make me cry hahah I can't really put it into words...It's a mix of sadness, calmness, and happiness I guess xD

I think it's all ._.

Memorial address usually brings me close to tears and depresses me. along with A Song for xx and teddy bear. Heartplace brought me really close to tears too when i heard it recently. i was at a vulnerable moment.

but i never actually shed a whole bunch of tears to any ayu songs though.

Ayu rarely makes me cry, but when she performed untitled ～for her～ and MY ALL, those made me cry. As well as teddy bear and Memorial address at AT0304. :P

I created a thread for clips that make cry 2 weeks ago... It's nt exactly the same but for me goes the same answer: untitled, who, wp, my all, memorial, asfxx (depending on the day)

I don't cry with most of the songs that made me cry before, but I can't listen to BALLAD without tearing up at 3:04 onwards. What an amazing, heartbreaking song.

Recently, I was listening to Together When... and I suddenly had this sense of heartbroken-ness or something. I don't know, never felt it before but at that moment I realised how depressing that song is.

ok let me see...
- Together When... the lyrics are soooo sad
- Memorial address ayu's emotion in this song just overwhelms me
- Happy ending because of the last verses :eyes
- fated but just the pv

and nearly every ending performance of ayu's concerts

Ayu writes wonderful lyrics me and my sis agree that everytime we feel sad or want to get or feelings out we listen to ayu. I know its funny :tipsy but yeah. I especially like how ayu records sad songs because she incorporates that sadness and panfulness and it makes the songs much more impacting

Most of her ballads are really sad. When I used to not know Japanese, PVs were the reason why I cried (eg. Together When...). But now, when I know Japanese and can understand what's she's singing firsthand, the flow and emotions just come out so so much more.

ayu's songs are very very beautiful and powerful in Japanese, which English translations can't really capture. Even a simple song like fated/HEAVEN (without the PV) stirs up lots of sad emotions in me... :cry

That's why everyone should take Japanese lessons! Just understanding ayu's lyrics will be worth it all lol!! :luv2

Uhh I actually never cry coz of a song, but I cried for some perf at her concerts :laugh
So Ayu's Who... is the only thing that made me :weep

^^ lol that's one of the biggest reasons i want to learn japanese. even the tiny bit i understand makes worlds of difference listening to certain songs.

None have, except maybe memorial address(after reading translated lyrics). That's why I want to learn Japanese too. So that I can understand and feel the emotion the artist wants you to feel.

I've never cried from an Ayu song surprisingly. I'm usually a sap with touching songs/movies/books. I think it's partly because I don't understand what she's saying unless I read the translations...and without directly understanding them... it kind of takes away that sad quality...at least for me that is.

this is hard. I think only Who... and HEAVEN only

"Heaven" always makes me feel close to tears when I listen to it or watch the MV. It may sound wierd but I want to play it at my funeral lol.
