April 14th (Wed) NEW ALBUM [Rock'n'Roll Circus] Release!

Release date confirmed for 11th official album!
Including big hit double-A-side singles [Sunrise/Sunset~LOVE is ALL~] [You were.../BALLAD], and recordings done in London for the first time, the new album features 10 new tracks (planned).
The DVD will feature more than half the number of songs in the album, with 8 music clips! Moreover, all making-of clips will be included. Digests for the DVD [ayumi hamasaki ARENA TOUR 2009 A ~NEXT LEVEL~], which will be released on the same day, will be included as a bonus as well!

Spanning about 7 months in 2009, from April to October, with 35 shows in 12 cities around the country, produced by 300,000 staff, the much anticipated DVD for the Arena Tour Live is here! The entire show done on the very last day at Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Tokyo has been recorded!
With songs from the [NEXT LEVEL] album, mixed with popular songs from the past and present, and 10 costume changes, an entertaining and colourful show never before seen.
All emcee sessions, bigscreen movies, and videos of special moments will be included (planned)!!

Some other facts to point out:
- photobook is 36 pages
- photobook will come with the CD+DVD version in the limited box
- 10 new tracks and 14 total tracks are subject to change
- It is unsure whether or not the LIMITED BOX will have different cases for everything contained within or not...
- CD only has no first press at the moment, but we have yet to find out more.
- The amount of interludes is not known yet, but people still seem to be saying that there will be 4 with no reasoning other than what has been done for NEXT LEVEL and GUILTY... at the moment though, no one knows anything.
- Sexy little things will be on the album, it just has not been listed in the tracklist since the songs that have currently airing CMs (Microphone, Don't look back) are the only tracks that Japan knows of right now. We know of it from ViVi, but that's about it... there's no reason for it to be listed in the tracklist at the moment.

well...we already filled up 3 anticipation threads as well.

i don't remember events around any other albums being quite so crazy. :shrug

I think instead of putting another new thread up here in the "news" section, we should just open a thread in the chatroom instead. It's not like there's new news or something.

Misa-chan, CDJapan and Neowing list a "to be announced" first press extra that comes with the CD only version though... I think CD-only does actually have something that has yet to be announced...

True. But there will be new news sooner or later, I guess? I'm not sure... Somehow the "thoughts"/"discuss this" threads that we used to have around releases in the Chat Room eventually got replaced by release-specific threads that are related to the news in the news forum. For many people, I think this will still be new news to them when they wake up or whatever so I think that it's a bit more considerate to the people who might not have been around when the information first broke out, you know? Otherwise they feel like they've missed out or something? -scratches head- I'm not really sure if one way is better than the other, but so far it seems as though having a central place for people to report news [along with starting their own threads for brand new... as that announcement mentioned] has worked out for the most part. I suppose it's also because many more people visit the News forum? I recall a lot of people missed out on the Ayu book project because they were not aware that it was going on or something...

Yeah definitely! I first accidentaly ordered on YesAsia USA, but then they give an error and automaticaly direct you to the correct YesAsia global (which is definitely the correct one since my shopping cart was still half full)

But then they give that message!! :S What can I try now? PlayAsia? HMV? *searches more*

edit: OMG if it's because of the tea I'm gonna kill the person at Avex who thought of that, it's a retarded idea anyway. Like we can't buy tea for $2 down the road somewhere.

Only downside to ordering from Amazon is that you don't usually get to participate in free poster giveaways/lotteries, I believe.

Good lord! Looks like Avex didn't learn from the last time with the USBs. Fans eat these things up! They should have made plenty this time around. But I guess the point of it being "limited" is that it's hard to get lol. I am SOOOOO effin' thankful that AHS was the first thing I checked when I woke up this morning. Seriously my laptop was on the pillow next to me all night, first thing I did when I woke up was check AHS and I got the box set in the nick of time! Now I can go to work... LOL.

NEXT LEVEL was originally announced to include 13 tracks. And then they added one. Not that I'm saying it'll happen this time, but whether it's 14 or not, she recorded a LOT so I'd think there won't be 4 interludes

Ehm I can't really remember the specific time.. Probably about an hour ago, since I also spent some time browsing for Hikki singles to add to my order, and it's already been about 15 minutes since I learned they definitely canceled it.

So I placed it in my cart about an hour ago, and I TRIED to order it about 20 minutes ago.. or maybe half an hour, I don't have a very good sense of time -__- I can remember it was 4pm when I was browsing and that's over an hour ago.

What's this tea everyone speaks of? I didn't see anything about that on the first post, is that news from another thread?

I'm not worried about that either to be honest. I think she has 10 new full tracks and then maybe they'll add the interludes later, making it more than 14. At least, I hope. It would certainly put the cherry on the top of this massively amazing release!

Hm, 10 new full songs? That'd be quite a lot... I think the last time she had that many was like, MY STORY, haha. I'd say 8-9 is more... reasonable, but given that she's been recording for the last 2.5 months, it seems like she should've done more songs. ESPECIALLY since she's still making some new songs apparently.

because you put it in your cart it doesn't mean it's already yours. Until you place order you haven't buy it.. so after you put it in your cart and you were searching for some hikki's single, it was sold out... so they removed it from your cart...

I don't think they will start removing it from our orders... I think they just displayed that message error because there weren't more copies available but they stil hadn't it like "sold out"

Ayu usually doesn't spend more than a day or two when recording new tracks... I don't imagine she'd go back to fix "old" new songs. Usually when she talks about recording, it's almost always new material.

Anyway, I'm surprised that this album hasn't popped up on mu-mo yet... -blinks-

But it's not impossible they add more tracks before another announcement. Just hope it won't have 45 brand new interludes (with a boring one made by HEL... HAL I mean).

It's not surprising at all, really. The only way we know about it is because of ViVi. Japanese people though have all heard Microphone and Don't look back due to the CMs that people have been seeing for the last month or so.

Well...yea, i expected the album title to be different..but whatever!

I hope it isnt 4 interludes too...though 3 may seem little but 7 new songs also seems little tbh..6 new songs is just sad...BUT then again, out of the 6/7, 4 are getting PVs...which only raises the quality of the album.
Seems like Don't look back will be for the Ayu-in-White PV...

i'm from the USA, bought the box, and so far it look like all is fine!

of course, i ordered it as soon as i woke up, 3 hours ago now.

I am afraid YA realized later that there is tea in it and cancels all orders, but on the other hand CDJ knew about the tea (they wrote it in the discription) and they didn´t had anything like "don´t ship to certain countrys"

However, the problem might have been we were just too late ordering? And it took YesAsia a while to process the item status to "sold out", however they couldn't sell it anymore either so they gave us that weird message?

No that was just an assumption. I don't have the literal message anymore, but it was something like

It was like "Please remove from order or ship to a different address"

Basically, it's a digest of 17 songs from AT09 smooshed into a video clip. I don't know how much they'll show but at the most, maybe 30 seconds from each performance? Haha.

Foods are being ship all over the world and I doubt that YA won't ship it simply because of that... They'll lose business especially when it's a limited item.
