Pop-star ayumi hamasaki (31) has announced that 12 self-penned lyric-sheets have been enclosed within 12 out of approximately 400,000 initial pressing copies of her new album [Rock’n’Roll Circus] (released on 14 April).
She has stated that this is a surprise from herself to the buyer. She got the idea of distributing presents, and she enclosed the lyric-cards in order to directly convey the world of music.
She used her favourite pen in order to write on A4 size paper.
With regard to the 12/400,000 probability of obtaining one of these rare items, hamasaki has said, “I put a lot of emotion into writing these, so I hope they will be treasured by whomever receives them.”
Moreover a new song not included on the album, unconfirmed as to whether or not it will be released, will be a free chaku-uta present to fan club members who purchase the album.

Come on, why do you have to be mean to the online translators?!

It's not like they don't say what you said... just look at all of them, they all mention a free present / chaku-uta for FC members. You do know it's better to use a translator to make some sense of it than to just post the Japanese, right? I don't know why you have to say that OCN/Excite/Google are "bad" when they're actually quite helpful most of the time...

don't get me wrong, i find online translators very useful myself, but they usually work better as dictionaries merely translating sole words or short phrases...
with languages such as english and japanese which are for all intensive purposes structurally grammatically opposite, an online translator is usually not capable of giving an accurate translation and what comes out is gibberish...
anyways, i am constantly using online translators myself so i'm not hating on them, just as i said, they work better for short phrases and not entire articles imho...

What is your problem with online translators?! Jeez. People use them when they don't know Japanese/whatever other language... can you translate the article then? I swear you're making a big deal out of NOTHING. Anyone who has a brain should be able to piece together what the translator says even if it isn't grammatically accurate.

No, Ayu will be including handwritten lyrics for each of the 12 new songs on the Rock'n'Roll Circus album and the new song is coming with CD+DVD/CD only copies of the album for TeamAyu members.

There is nothing written that the possibilty to get a sheet is only with TA orders, the only thing that is TA limited is the access to the chaku-uta page.

Just the thought of somebody getting the lyrics, yet not caring at all about them and wanting to sell them (and of course, they'd be trying hard as possible to rip off the fans), that makes me so sad. :no Seriously, getting those lyrics might be enough to make me cry, I want them so badly. Between what Ayu means to me, and then what music in general means to me.. This would easily be one of the greatest highlights of my life...
But of course, there will be at least one person who will get them and go, 'oh, look, I got the lyrics... That's cool, I suppose. *tosses them in the corner*' Ugh!

Do we know what lyrics from which songs are hand written? I think it would be even more rare if each of the 12 sheets contained 12 different lyrics. I mean, hand writing the same lyrics 12 times I'm sure would be a pain in the ass. Course it would be quite funny if the randomly selected lyrics were interlude lyrics. like, 2 sentences. haha.

They showed RED LINE ~for TA~ in the example, so I suppose it is the 12 songs with lyrics like Sunrise/Sunset/You were.../BALLAD/etc....

lol, this thing actually made me decide to preorder first press from mu-mo afterall. I was initially going to wait and buy it from the stores instead. and while I was shopping for this, I just bought AT'10 as well. 10,000yen gone just like that. :P

yeah... there are gonna be 12 different lyrics, so... not only there's only 12 sheets... every sheet is different cause it's a different song... seeing that RL for TA lyrics makes me think more firmly that if "THE introduction" has lyrics they won't be on a sheet... no... they have to be 12 lyrics for 12 full songs!

Now I've bought in TA/mumo the CD only, because I wanted the phone stand, but with this thing of the sheets I ordered another CD+DVD... how you see it LOL? 2 phone stands, 2 CD+DVD, 3 type A posters, 2 photobooks... erm... i dunno but 12 hand-written lyrics maybe hint that there are a total of 12 full songs in this album, each full song lyric is hand-written by ayu and put randomly in the 12 copies.
