new Suga Shikao single & album (April & May 2010)
 

Suga Shikao will be releasing a new single, "サヨナラホームラン", on 4/28.

tracklist:
he will also be releasing a new album, "FUNKASTiC", on 5/12.

i'll be posting more news once it comes out. :D

(if anyone knows what the single title means in english, i'd appreciate it)

his new single's called Sayonara Home Run

& this's really exciting , I can't wait to hear both his new single & also FUNKASTiC :D

This's going to be the 1st Suga album I'm going to listen to & if it's good I will get it !

FUNKASTiC will contains 12 songs inclusive of Party People , Hajimari no Hi Feat Mummy-D , Sayonara Home Run & his 1st digital single Ameagari no Asa ni

It's strange that only the CD + DVD limited edition of FUNKASTiC has an external/1st press bonus aka a poster

wonder why CDJapan's not giving it to the CD only hmm o.o

this would be my first album, too! i never heard FUNKAHOLiC, but maybe i should if i can find it...:P thanks for the title, karen :) i can't wait to listen to it.

Sugarless & PARADE were TOP-NOTCH albums. definitely recommend. :) i can't wait for this! i love Suga Shikao. :heart

b-side is "Sekai ga Owaru 5 Byou Mae" which...i believe translates to "5 Seconds Before the World Ends" lol.

PARADE is such an awesome album! but I didn't like FUNKAHOLiC that much :(

I think it's Suga's 1st digital single release ... but anyway the song's lovely :D

it's piano driven while it still retains the signature trademark sounds that Suga's famous for to begin with <3

LOL. I HONESTLY DON'T KNOW WHAT THE LOVE OF GOD #5 TRANSLATES TO. that took me the longest despite being the easiest to romanize because i was just like, "....WTF IS THIS." :laugh

from what karen posted with zemus's translation, i see "lion" at the end of the title, so...maybe it's "funkagelion"? like combining the words FUNKAGELIC (if that's even an actual word..:dead2) and lion. :shrug

i don't think i'm good at this, so....it's best if i just stop trying, lol.

the song is sooo good. i like the feeling of it, for some reason, it's just a really nice sounding song! the PV could have been better, but it was still pretty creative. i just really love the song the most. :P

FUNKASTiC debuted at #1 yesterday...

I weep for such no. 1 album sales XD. And I'm starting to think he might not even reach no. 1 because his sales are already dropping and Vocalist 4 is such a strong selling album. >.>

I did tried my best to listen to FUNKASTiC but sadly , the only songs that I really find prominent are the singles & the digital single .__.

the album tracks got really too experimental for my liking . It's a good thing that I didn't bought it lol

I think I just stick to listen to his singles as I'm not really like a huge big fan of Suga

I love the album tracks XD. It's moving a bit aside from his usual poppy-style. I wish I HAD bought the album >.<

I wish I discovered his music much much earlier

I'm sure his older works were great & etc but I just don't have the time to listen 12/13 years worth of stuff that he did from then til now D:
