If you could direct the music video for any Ayu song...
 

If you could direct the music video for any Ayumi song that doesn't already have a music video, which song or songs would you really like to direct?

On the top of my list would be:
- "End of the World" from the album Duty
- "still alone" from the album I am...
- "EngergizE" from the album NEXT LEVEL

I'm not sure what the idea or theme would be behind each one of them but I would find a way. I find them visually inspiring.

I probably wouldn't direct it myself (since knowing me I might ruin the song with a horrible video), but I would love to see a music video for A Song for XX, and Will, and possibly Secret.

A Song for XX is actually one that I would want to leave untouched, if only because I feel like a video would set it in stone too much. That song has evolved along with Ayu. I think there's a sort of beauty in its transience. :)

I have no idea what I would choose. I know it would be a hell of a lot of fun to be a creative director for such a video, though!
Maybe until that Day? That could be amazing! :D Or kiss o kill, potentially. Maybe I'd want to re-do Born to Be, too, just because that video is unwatchable.

- GUILTY (Ayu has killed her husband, and at the end she jumps from a steeple and dies )
- Will (one shot PV with Ayu -as a farmer- in a field remembering the massacre of her village)
- Mirrorcle World (Using a storyline with the ship and Ayu as a Pirate *_*)

kiss o' kill - Begins in a dark wasteland, similar to that in the Trilogy, or the NEVER EVER advert. She travels alone across the wasteland, as she goes further she sees those who were close to her, trapped or alone. The video would have scene in some kind of huge stoned building, and it's the only safe place, these people have allowed her to survive. But - Ayu is trapped, and (like in Ladies Night, but not so cheesy) another Ayu comes - and traps her here. The message would sort of be... you are your own worst enemy.

HONEY - super cheesy, lots of shiny costumes. She would sing each part of the song in a different coloured outfit, and would act like a good luck fairy to girls on dates - who could be played by TA members? It needs to be 110% OTT cheese, and would be hated by everyone! I would delegate directing to Kazu to get desired cheese.

And Then - Ayu, and a friend/lover who we never actually see - hinted that it's just part of her imagination. We see those important times they shared, but when it gets close to an important moment, such as a kiss, it jumps away - like she snaps back to reality, as if she were dreaming. It gets more and more distorted as it goes along, and it ends with Ayu leaving the city it's set in - alone.

I always imagine this:
End of the World = 2 different Ayus. The first is sit in the floor of her house, sad and confuse. The second is angry. Walking in the streets, seeing people, conversations, shops, everything. She sees fake people, laughs and futile girls. So, when the chorus came, glasses explode, tvs explode, winds came, this things. In the end, everything was destroied came back xD

Duty: a sweet Ayu is in a dark room, with a strange lady in a desk. The lady seems a "prophet". The room is full of differents doors. She indicates one of them for Ayu, that seems with fear but curios. She walks til the door. Slowly, she opens the door, but we can't see what is in it. She enters.
Starts the music, and she wears a long dress but she have scars. The cenary 'is red', and seems a cathedral. She is walking in a endless hall, with inumerous tvs aline, showing wars, bombs, natural catastrophes, futile commercials.
In the end, she finds a new door.

SCAR: Ayu as a hot vampire longing for her lover.

-immature, Ayu was lost in some club and find that she's the only one monochrome (while everyone else is in full color) and doesn't have fun until the final verse of the song.

-Duty, in Gothic style with Ruins and such. Showing random images of time flow and world's destruction

-SCAR, Ayu as a third person (not the main character) singing in the middle of a drama between a man who broke up with his girl and leaves him in the airport.

-HANABI, Will be like the continuation of the TU-KA CM.

-July 1st, The full version of what's happening in the H single cover.

-HOPE or PAIN, 80's soap opera style. Ayu is a lover waiting for a phone call from his crush in her living room.

-HAPPY ENDING, Ayu starring at the sky, hiding her true pessimist-sad emotion with fake smiles.

-HONEY, About a date Ayu has with her Boyfriend and she's acting like the cutest GF ever. It tells us the whole dating story from waiting for each other, visiting the theme park, dining, and drive home.

-In The Corner, A Documentary of Ayu in New York while filming B&D/Pride. Showing more of her elegant side.

-Will, A story of a Geisha like the one in Lumix CM.

-It was, AT09 HOPE or PAIN Video Intro with some additional scenes. Showing how time flies and seasons changes and the whole thing in rewind.

-glitter, The whole original PV but with much fun scenes like having the final scene dancing in some place overlooking the Hongkong Night (the PV Cover).

-fated, I imagine being drowning or some sort. I haven't got the full idea.

-GREEN, Add more scenes in exploring the Old Town rather than just in the studio.

-Sunrise/Sunset, Add more variation like Ayu's stay in Bali and having fun with the staff, etc.

My idea for this PV is that ayu kills her bf because he had a new gf, and ayu cannot stand for him and just stabs him many times. After she notices that she did it wrong, she tries to find the BEST way to cover her crime, e.g crop the body into parts, cook it, etc.
