Did anyone else notice that she messed up not only the first line of the chorus, but the second line as well? She said "shi" instead of "ki" in "asu mo kitto."

Yes.
HEYx3 is recording tomorrow [today?] in Japan and will air the week that Rock'n'Roll Circus comes out (I think) and MUSIC JAPAN was recorded a day or two ago. I think she might appear on MUSIC STATION again in two weeks, haha. |
3 performances is better than nothing, but still not that much, especially compared to other artists. Well, with her tour starting soon, it's ok, I guess. I don't want her voice and health to be worse.
But only 3 magazines as well (with the new Vivi 4). Hm, kind of underwhelming, isn't it? |
They still have yet to tell us about other magazines if there are any more, but if there are, they should be announced soon.
Right now, promotion is like this compared with NEXT LEVEL: Rock'n'Roll Circus - 4 magazines (ViVi, SCawaii, Sweet, bea's UP), 3 TV performances (MUSIC JAPAN, MUSIC STATION, HEYx3), ???? NEXT LEVEL - 5 magazines (bea's UP, Cawaii, SCawaii, Sweet, ViVi), 1 TV performance (MUSIC STATION SP), radio interview at DHN, Yahoo! online interview I'm kind of pretty sure she might appear on CDTV at least once for an album review segment... and she should have a Cawaii issue lined up this time around. I want her to be on CD&DL DATA this time! -shakes Ayu- |
The pre-recorded stuff is good for her because she can fit it in around the tour schedule. Its a plus if she does another live performance on MS again.
I'm expecting 2 x Microphone performances. |

Good thing she performed an album song this time. I mean, I love Rule, but when the album came out I kinda wanted to hear one of those, since by then I'd heard Rule many times. She should've done Rule AND an album song last time! :P

Maybe she only has an interview and and some pics on the inside? It'd be weird for them to skim over the biggest release at the time.

I want her to get back to December albums since she tends to appear on the usual TV shows AND the promo shows for her albums along with magazines/etc. She usually releases albums near the end of the year, allowing for maximum promotion in November/December/January... However, with NEXT LEVEL and Rock'n'Roll Circus released in the spring time, the amount of promotion is really small due to the proximity of the albums to the tour dates. It's really sad, but I think the promotion that they have so far is enough for Rock'n'Roll Circus on top of the many news broadcasts they've had with Ayu.... |

It's a weekly news broadcast on Saturdays, I believe.
FYI, currently Utada's Fight The Blues is the theme song. Ayu's will replace it after a year of being the theme song, which is awesome since it's a whole year of promo! The Japanese: Quote:
With Utada, she had the ending theme too, but a version of the ending plays as the opening as well. I watched the ending a while ago when oji-i-san said it was on, and it plays for about 15 seconds. Tune into Keyhole on 4/10 if you want to see it! I'll probably be up anyway since Ayu's concert starts on that day as well. |

News programming!!? Another long-term "contract" here - first the ongoing NHK dorama that will last until June, and now a song that will cover for a year, and it's in the news industry!!? It's going to be a long track here...

Yeah, BALLAD's drama is still on, I believe, and it's not even on normal TV yet, haha. The news thing should help if people who watch the news are interested.

I have no idea. It's a satellite-only drama (at the moment) that isn't broadcast "ALL OVER THE COUNTRY" from what I can understand. It's like... later on they will broadcast it over the regular NHK channel or something.

I was just wondering how did they pick the songs for the VTR that Music Station had for number one hits? Ayumi really dominated 2001, which makes sense since it was her peak, but she didn't have a single VTR song for anything past 2005 (STEP you). Even Shuchisin(sp) took Mirrorcle World's month :S
