Ayu's body proportions!
 

do you guys notice that her body proportions has changed quite a lot over the years? what do you think of it? i think her weight fluctuates quite heavily.

for example, if you look closely at the kanariya cover, she has quite large breasts and very skinny buttocks, but this reverses in the Fly high cover. and the process goes on and on throughout her career. :laugh

Most of the pictures are photoshopped... 99,9% of celebrity photos are retouched. Slimmer legs, larger breasts, skinnier waist etc... So it's not really any good idea to compare professionally pictures, but rather her amateur pictures from Deji Deji etc.
Just look at the Secret cover... If she really looked like this, she'd be dead.

good point! however do you think ayu agrees/accepts wholeheartedly all this fake images? i dont really like that avex feels the need to artificially make her more voluptuos, shes already perfect the way she is.

luckily we know how she really looks and love her regardless how PS'ed she looks in photos ;)

I dunno, I would assume she has some kind of power when it comes to approving or disapproving images. For the secret cover, it's a pretty image but you can see right away that no person looks like that. But I can see why they do it, it wouldn't look as graceful with a 4ft tall Ayu standing there un-edited... ^^

wow, now that you mention it, the secret cover does look a bit mad! :tired I never noticed how thin she looks on it...

Ayu has a good body shape, she doesn't looks like a 12 years old boy or a plastic gross doll neither. Photoshop ruins all :|
Btw it depends on clothes too, sometimes she wears wonderbra I guess.

i really dont like ayu with a massive top. i think shes already very nicely blessed with a decent body that looks nice and better than after they photoshop her.

I think it all depends on how much photoshop they gave her~

Secret cover, they chopped off the lower part of her body and replaced it with a Photoshopped dress~ At least, that's what it looks like to me :laugh In her TA Diary pics, she looks normal, and has normal proportions :)

I think, like most others do, its a mix of bras and photoshop.

But I remember a while back there was a whole tread about the fact that one of ayu's boobs always seemed bigger than the other haha

Actually that's perfectly normal for any girl some more noticeable than others though.

I think like everyone already said that it depends on how much they butchered photoshopped the photo and what bras she's wearing, and obviously as she aged her body changes too.

considering all the photoshopping, I agree she was very skinny in the LOVepperas era.
For example last summer her weight grown so much and now she lost some weight again. Last years she's a little bit yo-yo but i believ it's due to her lifestyle (always away from home).

haha yeah every year she will fluctuate, in the recent years, she would be bigger during A-nation season XP

She can't help it. Magazines and what not want the singers/models to look as good as possible. I'm sure she could tell them to not retouch her photo's, but there would be alot of criticism behind doing that, and you have to realize half of it is also makeup. I'm positive she sits in makeup and hair for atleast an hour or two to look perfect every day. We know what she looks like without makeup and without retouching, and she's equally as gorgeous without makeup/retouching as she is WITH it. :yes

i don't think those photos are 100% photoshop..

i believe that it is the types of clothes she wears and the type of bra she wear.
If you notice carefully, in some of the pictures, she stretches her body.

and the first picture that koshka posted, that black dress, with the leather-liked thingy on the chest part (well, i don't know what it is called), its actually very tight and it squeezes her chest, which is why it looks as if ayu has big boobs.

hmm.. i'm not really good in explaining it.. perhaps it's time for a thread in explaining the types of bras and body parts or something :lech

Well, in the end of the day she is a popstar and she is selling her image... Still, she only appears to be on heavy make-up/photoshop on work-related material... On her making offs or personal blog pictures, she is always with very little or no make up

OMG that one is a photoshop fail :no...I've always hated that cover!

And yes, I have to agree that pictures are unreliable sources for trying to figure out body proportions when it comes to celebrities. Also, the type of clothes a person may be wearing at the time is another thing to take into consideration.


However, you do make a point rainydayumi....Ayu's body proportions have changed a bit over the last decade. I guess you could say Ayu's more...voluptuous than she was in the past? She's by no means fat or chubby...or anything even close...but she's got more meat on her body than she had before. Honestly, I think she looks better than ever...as sometimes she looked a little too skinny. But of course, she's still very petite.
