Her record contract may be with Avex but her management is not.

if Johnny's Ent. were on that list, they would definitely be number 1 i think. they have all the most wanted actors, along with music sales, & all the other things they do. it's insane.

Music managers represent the artist, negotiate deals with record companies, and promote tours and stuff, usually for a part of the artist's profit. The record company does virtually everything else I think.

That's so funny.. even though H!P is pushed so much for sales, apparently AVEX tries a bit harder :P

AVEX is seems like a good management company. they seem to get their clients like Ayu & Koda Kumi a lot of TV & magazine appearances and plenty of commercial & drama tie-ins for their songs.

Yeah. Johnny's Entertainment would definitely be #1 if it was included. And Namie Amuro is from Vision Factory (same as w-inds.)

I think avex is responsible for Namie's CD Production while VF is reponsible for TV appearances, concerts, selecting songs etc.

Yeah. Rising Pro is the same as Vision Factory. They're now Vision Factory because they changed their name two times because they had problems with the law (didn't pay taxes) and this things really affect image in Japan so they changed the name. But Rising Pro was the name in the list, so...

I'm not surprised that Toshiba's not on there. They're really hurting because their only artist really is Hikki. However. I thought that Koda Kumi was with RHYTHM ZONE...
