I bought 95% of my collection, using my parents credit card/PayPal, and the other 5% were birthday presents.

I buy my J-Pop with the money I get from school or whenever I have spare cash.

Uh. Me - I dont expect my mom to buy my cd's when I have money myself

I steal...I'm sort of a illegaldownloader But not to worry, I'm waiting for Hikki's and Ayu's next album to come out bcuz I definitely buyin'!!!

I had some albums bought as a bday present from my dad, but the rest and most myself xD.

I buy it myself, with Christmas and my birthday being exceptions. Money, the only good thing about my job ~_~

I buy all of my own music. It seems kinda selfish to expect my mom to buy it when I'm making money of my own. (she wouldn't do it anyway, she doesn't understand my expensive taste!) The only music I'd get from her would be the ones I got for my b-day.

I do, aside from at birthdays and Christmas. (In which case my mother says, "charge such and such an amount and you just can't have it until Christmas") XD

i use my won money to buy all my JPOP cds...

i think i spent S$1500+ (US$2500+) on all my CDs for the past 5 years ^_^
