SCANDAL's 1st Official Thread~ The Most Powerful Japanese Girlie Pop Rock
I noticed that there wasn't any thread dedicated for the J-Rock band SCANDAL .. so, here it is !

i love SCANDAL! i always wanted to make a thread, but i never got around to it, lol. DOLL and space ranger are my most favorites :D they have a song for the BLEACH anime, called "Shojo S" and it's really good. the single gets released on June 17th.

YAY for SCANDAL thread!
I was just about to make a topic in asian chat section about their new single yesterday, because they didn't have their own thread. No need to now, haha. I heard the new Bleach OP, and I love it! It's got this 70's vibe to it! Lol. And seeing some of the bleach characters dancing in 70's dance moves was also funny too, haha. :P I noticed they also made the bleach scenes a bit retro-ish, probably to fit the old school look and music, lol. :D |
The new single is coming in 3 versions!
CDJapan has the following info: - Regular Edition - Limited Edition [Type A] - Comes with bleach stickers and notepad (subject to change) - Limited Edition [Type B] - Comes with bleach stickers and a poster Regular edition has 3 songs, and both LE versions have 4 songs total (see post #13 for tracklisting differences!) There's no DVD in the Limited Editions, unfortunately, and both LE are CD only (1 CD). :/ Wow, this is pretty cool. I may be ordering one of the singles from CDJapan, I just need to see the covers first, lol. :D It sounds like a good purchase. And I can't even remember the time when a Bleach single had 3 versions, so this is pretty interesting. Oh, and also, for each description on the 3 versions, it says that it features an alternative jacket, so that must mean we are getting 3 different cd covers, right? Hope so! |

Shojo S is so addictive XD ! I can't stop listening to it ! hopefully this song is gonna be a hit =) a bit of an off-topic thought : when SCANDAL gets famous (im 110% they're gonna be), im gonna be one of the "old fans", who knew them since before their major debut, so cool ! |

I found out about them when I listened to the Judy & Mary Tribute Album, and SCANDAL covered one of their songs on the album. The song is called "Daydream".

I thought the tracklisting for both Limited Edition had the same tracklisting. Guess not, hmm... "SO EASY" and "FUTURE" sounds like interesting song titles, I hope they both sound good. Their expression on their faces has so much attitude! Love it! And I like how each cover has a different color line, I think it's those police lines, like those "no trespassing" taped lines. Very cool. :cool |
