[2009] Your favourite Asian Album and Single of 2009
 

Like the title says,
now that the 2009 oricon year is over what is your favourite album and single for the year?
It must have been released in the 2009 oricon year, just to give this some guidelines.
Try your best to only pick one album and one single!?! ;)
You can say music DVD too if you would like.
It can be a best album too if you think it deserves the title.
Feel free to explain why you think so, or you can just list them.

Single: Hard to decide. If I could choose You Were/Ballad, I probably would.
tie between Namie Amuro - Wild/Dr. and Arashi - My Girl (strictly because of the greatness of the b-sides on that single)

DVD: Arashi 2008 live in Kokuritsu (just spectacular in every aspect; definitely deserves its high sales)

BREAKERZ - FIGHTERZ

amazing album . Way better than last year's BIG BANG ! which was a full straight on rock album

For FIGHTERZ's case , it's a lot more experimental with latin , pop , jazz , acoustic , orchestra , electro , synth influences that they mixed alongside with their signature rock sound

THEME OF FIGHTERZ is to me the best opening track that I came across for 2009 . Pity it's so short , it should have been longer :P

oh this's tough as I really like all the 4 BREAKERZ singles that they released this year D:

but I go with their most recent one , LOVE FIGHTER ~Koi no Battle~ xD

Both the A & B-sides received PVs & the dance segment making of clip is pure win 8D

lots of members ai going on with a stripshow that they thrown in for free xD xD xD

I haven't watched it yet D: but soon , it's their 1st DVD somemore :heart

I'm going to watch it later before I leave tomorrow morning for more members ai moments 8D

Complete footage of Momoe's appearances (1978-1980) on TBS' "The Best Ten" music TV show. One word: legendary. Was released only four days ago, but it's rare to be able to watch such old video in HQ. Easily DVD of the year for me.
