this is pretty bad compared to STEP you / is this LOVE.

Endlessoul 30th August 2005 12:27 PM

well, it will sell 300,000 copies yes, but really not so surprising to us. =(

thanks for the info.

Mad_Cactuar 30th August 2005 12:40 PM

I'm sure it'll reach 300'000 next month.. 12000 copies isnt that much, since only now Asian fans are getting the CD..

Annabelle 30th August 2005 12:42 PM

It's not bad considering the single is not as good as the 2004 singles :P

jasjasss 30th August 2005 12:45 PM

i wish she performed alterna ... that will prolly increse the sales ~

Mad_Cactuar 30th August 2005 12:49 PM

The single was excellent, however, just like jasjasss said, I also wish she performed Alterna.. That song was the ultimate winner in the Fairyland single

extepan 30th August 2005 12:49 PM

the sales should be better..with the gmmick of fairyland being the most epensive video ever!! i am slightly disappointed by the sales

but oricon has never counted the out japan sales in the ranking.

truehappiness 30th August 2005 12:53 PM

The way I see it, the only reason fairyland did so 'bad' was because of all the releases that came after;;

TMR, Orange Range, B'z..etc. We can't really blame it on crappy advertising/overadvertising or anything, it's probably just because of many choices for singles, and as new ones pop out, Ayu's fairyland is pushed back a little more.. I guess STEP you was released during a drought in releases? :\ Perhaps in time, fairyland will get to the sales of STEP you~ I have faith..

>3

^^ yeahh
true ...
this month has been like a super relase j-pop months ..
so many new singles by well known singers are being released this month !!
luckily ayu claimed the no 1 spot already .. phew ~

Raleigh 30th August 2005 02:44 PM

Pretty much true. I still hoped her sales would be better than STEP you.

Olw---A 30th August 2005 02:54 PM

288.146 is "bad" but I think it's normal because the single was available in august (and we know the song since july) and also the next single is coming next mounth...

elepop 30th August 2005 02:58 PM

I say she'll reach 300,000 copies around the 6th week or something like that.

The sales aren't that bad, but I thought it would do much better than "STEP you".

Today, she's #11 on the daily Oricon chart.

Qt Mashi 30th August 2005 03:51 PM

alterna should have been promoted more, that would probably increase the sales

Cyria 30th August 2005 07:47 PM

Though I originally hoped for more, these sales aren't bad.

evolution7931 30th August 2005 07:52 PM

I can't understand why its not doing as well as I thought it wouldda =\

totally agreed. alterna is such a strong based song compare to fairyland. I wish avex would let her perform it instead of hiding it from the world.

kournikova 30th August 2005 08:52 PM

wow... yeah It will sure break 300 K but I think the reason fairyland can't go well is because theres B'z TMR n others..... it is a draw... he he he.... but I dont expect much for this single really... so its good ^^

*Petit* 30th August 2005 09:20 PM

THis sucks. Period.

Olw---A 30th August 2005 09:52 PM
