Arena Tour from spring 2015, one year from the last tour is just announced!
This is the latest live performance entertainment of ayumi hamasaki world.
Tour title is "Cirque de Minuit" (It means Midnight circus in French)

The Arena tour is a next entertainment after "ayumi hamasaki COUNTDOWN LIVE 2014-2015 A Cirque de Minuit ~Midnight circus~"
It is her new challenge to name the same title on, countdown concerts are just beginning and she wants to pass the high level performances and her heart as an artist to Arena tour.

Hometown show coming up!

Will be attending the last show at Yokohama Arena on July 5th!!!! Have only watched snippets of CDL but have been listening to the audio rip. Very impressed with Duty.

^Duty's rearrangement is just epic, it fits the whole midnight circus thingie.
It's one of her best live rearrangement imo

I like this version of Duty.

I'm with you here. The circus arrangement pales to the original. It sounds like a self-parody to me.

I mean... I'd take the studio arrangement on paper any day, but I like the live arrangement. It's refreshing after you've heard the studio arrangement billions of times over the last 15 years.

^ I see your point, my case is like Deep Snow's, i'd be fine with a new arrangement, but i just can't click with it and it don't come close to the same feeling the original has.

what do you guys think is the next song replacing flower garden? this is gonna be interesting if she changes it every weekend :yes

fairyland is such an underrated song, it'd be nice if she adds it to the list and even better if she keeps it and it makes into the DVD.

As much as I love fairyland, I don't see the song replacing the kind of flower garden/Sunrise/glitter songs, fairyland is a little bit bittersweet than the energetic songs she's replacing

Yeah. BLUE BIRD or Greatful days is more likely.

Maybe "BLUE BIRD", yes...
But I wouldn't be surprised if it's "AUDIENCE" or "Trauma"...
I think she may save some summer songs for later.


About Duty's rearrange:
I would love it, when she would make studio versions from some of her rearranged tracks from the last years...
- evolution (ASIA'07)
- M (POWER of MUSIC)
- Mirrorcle World (POWER of MUSIC)
- Duty (Cirque de Minuit)
- immature (Cirque de Minuit - if it's as nice as I imagine) :D
- and some other underrated tracks
...as a second disc for a best album on her 20th anniversary! ;)


And about "fairyland"...
As terra said before, "fairyland" is way to bittersweet for an encore track between "Step by step" and "Boys & Girls"...
But I can imagine an awesome Cirque de Minuit rearrange with a much more creepier bridge and some heavy guitarriffs during the chorus *-*

Duty's Cirque de Minuit rearrangement works really well live. I much preferred the performance from last year's CDL to when I saw her perform it at CDL 10-11 ~do it again~. It was nice they did that, while I'm a fan of the old version the new version fits the show better but also freshens things up. The original studio version is quite dated now.
I was excited to see her there for HOTEL Love songs, but ayu barely acknowledged it. I don't think she really associates with Fukuoka anymore she's been in Tokyo so long. The weekend I saw her she literally flew in the Saturday morning and back on the Sunday night.
