All 17 CDL shows will be released on YouTube at the same time as New Year's Eve

Today, on December 31st (Thursday), all 17 videos of successive countdown live will be premiered on the YouTube channel.

A total of 17 performances, including her first countdown live from 2000 to 2001, to last year's New Year's Eve performance, which marked the beginning of 2020.

Since all performances are celebrating the New Year's Eve with the audience, this premiere will be delivered all at once at the timing of the actual 24 o'clock.

As shown below, the start time of each premiere is different, and by the time it reaches 24:00, all 17 videos will be aired with ayu counting down, so please do not miss it. Please welcome the New Year's Eve with your favorite year's live performance.

Please note that due to the circumstances of the distribution system, there may be some discrepancies between the exact timing of 24 o'clock and the video.

It's gonna be the first time we will have access to the whole CDL 16-17 in a good quality and not the one broadcasted on TV, right?

Yes indeed! The whole thing is a lovely gift <3

hud 31st December 2020 04:31 AM

omg thanks ayu for this! this is kinda huge

kendelle 31st December 2020 04:48 AM

I just saw the TA Mail! I'm so excited, I don't know which one to watch first lmao

May as well start with the first one and see if I can get through them all before I return to work!!

Xianghua 31st December 2020 06:35 AM

This is such an overload. WHICH ONE DO I WATCH?

Katsuyuki012 31st December 2020 06:45 AM

This is so sweet! I had been planning to watch a previous CDL! If there's one good thing to come out of this, then it's the fact that we might be get the full proper edit of the JTB CDL! I've always liked that one (even with raspy vocals), so this makes me really happy! :heart The edit will elevate the show a lot, I'm sure of that. The same happened with JTB1. I hope someone downloads it.

I'm so happy and grateful they're doing this!

Deep snow 31st December 2020 07:44 AM

excited for the Just the beginning CDL! I hope it is indeed the edited version (visually and vocally).

the list is still missing the 2018–2019 CDL though—or was that not considered an official CDL (kind of like ARENA TOUR 2003–2004)?

Katsuyuki012 31st December 2020 07:53 AM

^I think that's also the only CDL where they don't have a finished edit. IIRC they used the WOWOW rebroadcast for the commentary video.

DavidChaiLatte 31st December 2020 08:36 AM

Was there ever a CDL17-18?

I hope she eventually releases CDL03-04 as well...

Katsuyuki012 31st December 2020 08:43 AM

^There was a show on NYE 17-18 but it ended before midnight and was just a part of the JTB tour.

Also, I don't see a need for a CDL03-04 release. CDL03-04 was basically just the first two dates of AT03-04, that's why it's called AT03-04. There were hardly enough differences to make a separate release of CDL03-04 worth it. According to the following thread they broadcast a few songs, including the countdown, on CDTV.

It had a bit different setlist so it would have been nice to get it.

ah OK, thanks!

the entire Jtb–TROUBLE multi-year tour is weird to me in this respect; they seem to go all out to hold concerts after concerts without thinking of releasing them for home viewing.

kaled kalil 31st December 2020 11:38 AM

Wow I only asked for the first one, but they went all in! It doesn't say if will still be available outside the youtube premier, right?

I think it was mainly about ayu wanting to perform a lot and giving fans from all places (in Japan) the chance to see her.

They did release two of the three JTB chapters, we got a live stream and rebroadcast (2 Nao songs got cut) of TROUBLE CDL (which was representative for the 2018-19 tour) and there's going to be the Saigo no Trouble DVD.
So while not all of the shows have been released, all but JTB2 and Trouble -misunderstood- have been available in some way shape or form. And now we'll get the JTB CDL edit, as well!

Out of 6 different shows (3 JTB chapters, 3 Trouble chapters) we got to see 4, of which 3 are official releases while the remaining one was shown almost entirely on TV.
I would've loved to see the other two shows (they interested me more than JTB3 or the first Trouble tour) but we still got to see quite a lot, so I'm okay with what we have. I think it's a bit more than some people may realize.

One also has to consider that they broadcast PoM18 + TA16 in Sept. 2018, followed by the release of A^3 (2019) and CDL19-20 (2020). That's a lot of concerts – 8 broadcasts/releases from 2018 to 2020 (9 if you include Natsu no Trouble).

I'm just glad Saigo no Trouble is going to be released on DVD, it's definitely my favourite out of all the JTB/Trouble concerts.

This turned out a lot longer than expected, sorry. :eek

Earth_maiden 31st December 2020 12:13 PM

PLLLLEEEEASE someone record CDL16-17!!! :luv2

Katsuyuki012 31st December 2020 12:14 PM

^I hope they leave it up for a few hours, so that someone can download the file.

Mikytaryan 31st December 2020 12:19 PM

All my hopes are towards CDL 16-17, I really hope it's their edit version!

It's really sweet for them to do this. We got so many things from Ayu this year and this seems like a very nice present to end this year where so many have suffered.

Looking forward to it!

Katsuyuki012 31st December 2020 12:23 PM

^I'm pretty certain they will use their edit.
