Yeah this message is annoying me a lot. Blerg. Oh well.

xLitax 2nd January 2009 09:28 PM

I just want to know why it is doing that.

AHS Staff 2nd January 2009 10:11 PM

This is the problem:
Quote:

Most users ever online was 239, 31st December 2008 at 05:18 PM.
The AHS server cannot handle the level of traffic we've been getting recently. The staff are looking at different options, but it is going to take some time before anything is resolved.

GRACE 2nd January 2009 11:56 PM

how can a forum which has 17000+ members spaz and die at not even 100 online?

Calico 3rd January 2009 12:13 AM

^Because out of 17000 members, only about a few hundred are active at all. And out of those few hundred, only about a hundred will be the most online at a time.

kirei_ayumi 3rd January 2009 01:00 AM

^so can non-active members be deleted?! we have tons of members who still have 0 posts...

alternarist 3rd January 2009 07:56 AM

can we start deleting accounts that have not been used and its moulding?

SURREAL__RAINBOW 3rd January 2009 09:13 AM

sugarbasil 3rd January 2009 10:20 AM

There aren't even that many people logged on anymore for the server to go down, lately. It's almost like too many people went on at once, and the server's screwed up now since. I wonder how one would go about fixing that...:confused

gothicayu 3rd January 2009 01:31 PM

it happen to me everyday since 31 december . im surprise too that 200 people can shut down the website for a few minutes . i know the staff are doing their best . i hope you guys will find a solution soon

Mari-chan 3rd January 2009 06:01 PM

Ah... than it is not only me, who has the problem. I was wondering, that I can't really enter AHS... but,... as I see.. everyone has the same problem.
So.. I hope, the problem will be solved soon.

Lee_410 3rd January 2009 06:41 PM

OMG,I thought I was the only one!

Calico 3rd January 2009 11:33 PM

Yeah, I think the main problem stems from the amount of people trying to access the server at once, not the amount of people we have registered. It's esp. bad at this time of year because there's usually a lot of Ayu-action going on, so people want to read/dl about it.

I know the admins are trying their best to get things fixed. We've currently closed posting game forums for now to help alleviate the stress on the servers. I'm not quite sure what else they're up to right now, but I'm sure something will get done...hopefully. =\

EDIT: I just found out that a good portion of the forums has been closed to guest viewing for NOW. This will also help alleviate stress on the server until we can fix it. I've already noticed a change. Hopefully though this won't have to be permanent.

Melon Panda 4th January 2009 01:46 AM

I'm a little relieved that I wasn't the only one getting the "unavailable" messages. Deleting inactive members might be the thing to do, if nothing else will help the system's strain.
