All the drop down menus are the same, like number of tickets and months. The tickets are sold at 4 max... but my birthday is April! It's not accepting "predetermined ticket amount reached" as my month of birth and there is no 4... Birthdays have to match, don't they?

I used the "predetermined" option as 4 for my credit card mth but it worked. Did u try submitting the option?

Yes, a very long tour for her 19th anniversary. This is the actual 20th and for it to be so short just seems odd, unless she's planning something else. Even the 2015 & 2016 TA tours had more dates.

I don't get all the complaining about the acrobats being frogs, monkeys or Timmy and his outfits. It is and it probably will always be part of ayu's show. It's who she is and what she likes...

And if I remember correctly Timmy was decently dressed and had "normal" hair (his own and not a wig) at the original PoM!

^me too but those outfits really fitted the show, for TA tour 2015 ayu and her dancers were dressed pretty normal and timmy was wearing a leather brief (?) with half of his butt hanging out and high heels and it felt so out of place, specially when ayu was wearing the cute white dress and singing HEAVEN and he was right next to her looking all messy. I usually don't mind his costumes but I do think it depends of the performance, sometimes it give it a plus (like CdM) but some other times it doesn't.

yeah I kinda dissed her for it back in 2016 but I was CLUELESS. it fitted so well with the MIJ Tour. though I wish she'd never recycle all of these things she does every tour. clowns, folklore characters, acrobats... I guess she can always incorporate new things in a way of developing her dancers' presence. or not use some of them at all. (not saying she should fire the dancers, but maybe put some kind of performances on hold for a while?)

Sure, but that's for a different show. Ayu isn't known for overly sexualized content (compared with other artists - especially some of the american ones, who are downright vulgar), and I don't think this is the place for it.

Ayu's image is highly sexualized at least since Loveppears era, it's just not sexual on a western-like way. She isn't always having half naked/full naked photoshoots and wearing fetish outfits for tours just because it's fun :P This girl actually has a music video taken straigh out of fetish porn aesthetic.

Jolin Tsai even said once she didn't get the Ayu comparation because she wouldn't be able to put out things like a half naked covered only in leafs album cover.

Ayu, highly sexualized? I don't think so. I mean Ayu has worn some risque costumes and does sometimes get suggestive during live performances but that's about it. Nothing overtly sexual, and NOTHING compared to western artists. And yes Ayu has shown quite a bit of skin but there was nothing sexual about the Loveppears or I am covers.
As for Timmy, he has only cheapened the image of Ayu's live shows.

Ayu shows lots of skin. Much more than Hikki, Ai Otsuka, Namie Amuro, even if they sing openly about sex and Ayu doesn't. Her live performances also goes on a more sugestive route far more often.

She also most likely references BDSM and fetish as much as she references Circuses. Most of her "kawaii" performances are actually the ones she wears the less clothes and the sexy version of some innocent character. The kawaii performances from AT06, AT08, AT09, AT10, AT12 have Ayu pretty much dressed as a character from a hentai manga.

I'm sorry, but her image is VERY sexual, and it was since Loveppears. The reason she isn't western-popstarish sexy is because the fetishes and how a desireble woman is perceived in both cultures is largely different. What doesn't make it any less sexual.

I’ll agree that a lot of performances and videos are. My standard for hugely sexualized is Koda Kumi who has passed the point of what I would call “good taste” a long time ago. On the other hand Otsuka and Hikki image wise fall into the category of “good Japanese girls” so I don’t really think they could even pull it off 🤣

Yes, culturally things are quite different. Ayu is also no Koda Kumi, literally dry humping a girl's arm in her PV (no shade to KK, you do you). But this is also the same culture that frequently has idol photo books of teenage girls in bikinis and doing suggestive things - these are positioned as "cute" by are obviously also attracting older men in a not so innocent way. And yet, while these girl group members are sexualized by fans and dirty old men, almost nobody would say that their image is explicitly sexual.

All of that to say that yes, Ayu DOES do things that are sexualized or draw from fetish imagery, usually in the context of performance. But it's hardly the base of her image, and she's hardly over-sexualized as compared to most of her peers.

I think the problem is that Ayu is sexualized by other people, even if that is not her intention. The Loveppears photo is not sexual but the viewer sexualizes it because Ayu is a woman showing skin.
