Ayu A Nation 2019?

Is Ayu doing A Nation this year? Apparently not according to the dates already announced and the final two in Osaka she’s already performing as tour dates.

Seems she might not be.

alternarist 15th May 2019 05:39 AM

most prob not. but who knows she may stun us in some ways.

pedronekoi 15th May 2019 06:39 AM

Those are the dates for the other cities. She have been doing only the Tokyo event (which has not being announced yet).

KarenPang 15th May 2019 06:48 AM

I will be very surprised if this year's a-nation 2019 will have no Tokyo dates

But a-nation hasn't finalised the details yet , even the general ticket balloting for the 17th & 18th Aug dates in Osaka have not been released either unlike for Aomori , Mie & Fukuoka

Assuming that this year's a-nation 2019 will once again be held at Tokyo's Ajinomoto Stadium , 24th & 25th Aug looks more likely it will take place

https://www.ajinomotostadium.com/schedule/2019/08/

Nothing listed for 24th & 25th Aug , so far

Earth_maiden 15th May 2019 07:06 AM

didn't she announce last year only in August?

It wad announced in the middle of May http://ahsforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=124074

If Tokyo dates is 24 and 25 August, ayu will be free and can attend them. But not much time for preparations

pedronekoi 14th June 2019 07:16 AM

They just announced the full artists list for a-nation Osaka (that seems to be the main event this year) and no Ayu at all. AAA and Tohoshinki are set as Headliners. I'm wondering if that's it, no Tokyo dates, no Ayu...

Corvina 14th June 2019 10:42 AM

The Rugby World Cup is taking place in the Ajinomoto Stadium this year. It only starts in September, but I know from soccer that to protect the field for big events they might block stadiums.
Maybe that's also the case here?
It is a big event for Japan and their general rehearsal before the Olympic games next year.
Too bad Ayu only seems to do Tokyo in recent years.

KarenPang 14th June 2019 01:16 PM

It will be weird not to have any Tokyo dates for this year's a-nation

If so then it will be the 1st time in a-nation history not to have any Tokyo dates ? :s

If what Corvina said validates then looks like this year a-nation will not be held in Ajinomoto Stadium as per norm

I thought the next venue alternative could be Kokuritsu Kyougijou but it already demolished :s

And for the last 2 weekends of Aug , 3 dates except for 1 are already taken up in Tokyo Dome

If not maybe Odaiba ? Chiba's Makuhari Messe is big enough but it will be indoors and not outdoors

Chris85 14th June 2019 01:49 PM

I won't be sad if she skips it. It's mostly the same stuff every year. We've seen it all.

chocopockymaster 14th June 2019 05:36 PM

It depresses the hell out of me to see what a-nation has turned into

Chibi-Chan 14th June 2019 09:08 PM

^right? I was looking forward to it so much every year back then.

BlackSilence 14th June 2019 11:18 PM

Is AAA really that popular to be headliners? I mean i get Tohoshinki but those...? really?

melissalove 14th June 2019 11:26 PM

I’m so sad ayu won’t be participating, last years a nation was one of the best. Oh well maybe next year.

What happened to the police scandal with AAA after all?

That was Urata Naoya only, isolated from the rest of the AAA group. He's on hiatus as a result of the incident. But I'm still a bit irked why AAA is that popular, even to this day... :irked

KarenPang 15th June 2019 05:00 AM

I'm not an AAA fan but they came from humble beginnings as they used to be backup dancers

And now they can do Arena / Dome tours and solo wise they also attained reasonable success to some extent

They're damn popular for a while already.
AAA was the most requested act for a-nation this year on social media by far.
They're also doing well solo, especially Nissy (finished a sold-out Dome tour in April).
Exception is Urata Naoya, but he's suspended now anyway and luckily it didn't hurt the band.

Don't know what you're talking about. She always do something new for the intro...

I really like her a-nation lives and I think she had some of the best performances during a-nation. Weird to not have her for the first time ever since a-nation started.
