*Summary:
-12th original album, 15 tracks total
-3 formats of release: CD, CD+DVD, microSD + USB + DVD + photobook
-CD+DVD, CD versions do not come with a photobook. They have sleeve cases and serial cards only.
-Ayu is the first Japanese artist to have the files included on the USB (48KHz, 24bit, wav.file) to be of higher quality than the songs contained on the CD. They are apparently 278 times better than the files on the CD.
-Photobook is LP size, comes with 12 pages
-3 new videos, one of them being Last angel plus "making of" videos for all of them
-Team Ayu original goods will be posted at a later date

is that correct that the microSD doesn't include the making clips and the USB doesn't include all the PVs?

The price is unbelievable :(
Way too expensive for me.

The microSD has all of the PVs (probably not enough space for makings) and the USB does not include video files on it. Just the high quality .wav files. The DVD has all of the making clips on it to make up for it though.

The microSD WILL have the making ofs on it, but the USB won't have the PVs. That's why there's a DVD with it.

Why they didn't just put it all on the USB, I have no clue...

I might just break down and buy the CD+DVD, I guess I can do without the photobook. I know it will be online after everyone receives their copies anyhow.

I think in Canada, one doesn't need to pay for tax if the value of the gift is less than $60 CDN. If it's not a gift, the value of the item must be less than $20 CDN in order to be tax-free. That's why I always mark all my stuff as "gift" :P.
(OT: Once I got a bill from FedEx as well... 19 bucks. I bought my bro a headphone, the one hikki wore in HEART STATION pv :P)

Am I the only one who think this is a waste of money? I miss Ayu, and it seems to my personal taste Japan just isn't trying anymore. A lot of people here have jumped over to Korea (I am one of them) just to hear something fun and danceable. This Ballad invasion makes me barf.

ayu music is ayu music. i may want more upbeat songs, but that doesn't mean I don't love the ballads.

I just feel so good to not have spent a dime in the singles, because, and maybe only SDW is not going to be on the album, all the rest is so, wohoooo. I'm glad to have the patience to wait.

Ayu has never really released dance music, especially nothing comparable to what's popular in Korea now.

And her "fun" music is usually just poppy, and still not very danceable.

Wow, that digital set seems really ambitious. Was the last USB release in .WAV format, also? Could the songs be converted for use on an iPod? I'll probably just end up getting the usual CD+DVD, but the photobook (and higher quality songs) is really tempting.

I'm just thinking, I am really sacrificing a lot of stuff this year because I am trying to save all my money for school in New York. I've quit going to raves, missed out on seeing Ferry Corsten and ATB together live, which I'd much rather do than have this limited album that will just sit on my shelf and collect dust. I've come to a realization... really what good is purchasing all this doing for me...? Nothing. Just like I bought THE LIVE 2008-2009 photobook, specifically because I wanted photos from AT08 since I attended that one - but I've looked at the book a total of 2 times. So I'm thinking I may cancel my order once the covers are revealed and switch to CD+DVD... But I don't like looking at the covers until I receive my order! Especially since it's Christmas! I want it to be such a surprise and a real present. I know my Mom will not pay $125 for this present for me... I must say I hate all of this gimmicky bullcrap with Ayu's releases lately. I know it's for the fans and such but ugh... is it necessary? Lol.

ONE TIME I go with CDJ because the YA pre-order links weren´t up and I were tiered, and I tought, "oh well YA jacks up the price so it´s nerly the same as CDJ with the shipping" and then YA makes it so cheap ><
The CD+DVD Version is even cheaper on YA and has free shipping, seriously that´s very unnormal, I think YA forgot to put their shipping on the price o.o
Gna why didn´t I waited, I whould have saved 15€ (and probably the ap. 20€ for the costom that sure will be added ><) But I feared it whould be sold out when I wake up again =/

My Mom e-mailed me about what I want for Christmas so I'm telling her about Ayu's CD and the different editions. I think maybe, I'll ask my Mom for the CD+DVD and keep my order for the Limited Edition and that way I can just resell the limited edition if I feel like the cover for the CD+DVD version is good.

But, the total purchase was $125 so idk how much it would cost to re-ship that to someone else, if I had a buyer come the time. Do you think I would be able to re-sell this - would people actually be willing to buy it or will everyone/anyone who would be interested/here on AHS already have theirs? I mean, the people who want them are going to have them already? I just don't wanna be stuck with it and kicking myself. Such a hard decision!

My guess is it'd be pretty easy to sell, even at an inflated price. A few weeks after release, of course.

If not on AHS (which I'm sure someone will grab it), then there is always eBay.

You could just sell your pre-order, maybe CDJ can change the shipping address and directly ship to the person who buys from you. You should ask CDJ if that´s possible^^

But I won't know if I'll want to keep it or not until I get my copy of the CD+DVD on Christmas and open that, then open the Limited Edition and see if I really have the urge to keep that limited edition and how the cover/box art compares to the CD+DVD.
