Nice thread! Thank you :)

I watched the live and I'm sorry but NO.
Ayu what are you doing? You're suffering and you continues to sing even when your voice is so tired that's so awful? Please, take a break and take care. Learn to sing with your condition, come back later. Seriously I'm aware of all of this but it was awful to hear her shout. Because of You was horrible, she was exhausted on NEVER NEVER and so on. Ballads were ok, fortunately. Aside from her vocals, the show was empty. Nothing new, always the same performances , same gestures, same songs. I was bored. There was nothing beautiful or amazing. I think it was just "ok". I'm so sad because once upon a time I loved Ayu's lives. And now... I'm just watching by curiosity and by habit. Hope the next chapter will be better than that! |
Thank you for creating this thread!

^^I thought Because of You sounded good tbh.
Also, WARNING had a new choreography, NEVER EVER and Because of You had new stuff here and there too. My name's WOMEN had changes here and there and the second part of the bridge got changed. Ourselves was a new performances anyway. Appears was different arrangement-wise with the violin and they lifted her up. Sure, this tour isn't full of brand new things but if you look closer there are changes and some new stuff. Of course that's not sooo much but still, it just annoys me "always the same performance" when yes, she still does a whip dance for my name's WOMEN or still has the *walk, look back* during BoY but there are changes. I am not denying that overall much is still the same but she keeps adding new stuff to the performances here and there so they're not completely the same. I can already see the backlash coming, lol. |

Just realised Lico is missing, did I missed anything?
^She left after I think AT16 because she didn't have enough stamina iirc.
I've watched both ourselves and WARNING from the TV Live and I've decided I prefer not to see the rest. At least not until they release the edited version. Worst vocals ever imo, she is basically struggling to finish each song. It's really sad to see her like this when she used to have amazing live tours back in the day.
^ for sure you missed the last CDL... >.<
Those vocals are horrible. I don't ever wanna hear her say she's ruining her health "because of music". If she would care about music, she would care about delivering live vocals that are worth to pay for. It's her damn job. Not that she ever was a great vocalist with great technique or something, but she sounded fine at least.
This really makes your ears bleed and I don't know whom she's trying to fool besides herself with this "performing for the love of music". She's performig for herself and definetely not for anyone else. If your not able to perform three days in a row without being hoars as fuck, simply don't do it. It's your job after all ffs. |

besides the ourselves performance straight from the beginning, i have to agree with what CeReSu wrote. It hurts to admit that, i love ayus live, but i gets reallly bored and really monotonous from what i can see. If she does not include her newer songs (with new performacnes) i donot wonder that her lives bores me.

So many negative comments, how sad for Ayu, though I kinda get how y'all feel, but vocally it was so much better than both past CDL, the setlist was nothing new, I get that some could get tired, but other people may enjoy it otherwise there would be no public at all, and most important imo, she was happy, she enjoyed being there, and I enjoyed watching her, I'm not saying that you guys have to like it, I myself hope big changes for 2nd chapter, but we should just support her and not being so negative, people say things like "she should take care of her health" and I agree but... if she didn't, and it's doing this long af tour, going to small venues where she never went before, I truly hope to be wrong, but perhaps her condition doesn't have a solution, perhaps she's trying to do what she loves to do as much as possible, if you knew you won't be abable to do something you love in a certain ammount of time, wouldn't you just throw everything away and do it till the very end as long as you can? well, that's just my opinion, I liked the show, nothing spectacular but it was good, really looking forward for 2nd chapter :)

I'm totally agree with you. Go ayu! This year tour is a gift with the hall tour. I hope a lot people go to see her. I will love to see her but I can't, is my dream but someday. So I'm glad more people can got to the tour this years.
Her celebratory tours always have boring setlists, so, it was to expect...
Couldn't make it past Ourselves, the vocals are so bad.
My beef is with the setlist not the vocals. She's obviously off pitch because of deafness. What can she do :/ god help her.
Honestly, it's the same comments every time with live broadcasts even from years back. Most people seemed to enjoy her in the venues though which is where it's meant to be watched, so something is going on for there to be such a disconnect during these lives.
any idea if Chapter 3 will also be Hall Tours?
im planning to go during that period >< |
